Jyzara smiled as she spoke of her cubs. She could see the pride in her for it. She had the boys while she had the girls it seemed. She nodded a bit at the older cubs part. Must be around two then if she lets them wander off so much. But she was a leader at a year and a half before so she couldnt complain. "The white one is Alaska, the dark red one with the orange eyes is Ishak, and the other dark red one with green eyes is Shinta. When they get older they get their pick of last names. I highly dislike joint names, my family was obessed with them and it didnt make any sense."

Another chuckle fell from her maw as she spoke. She was happy to find good company of another mother. That just wanted space for her children to be free, and safe. If she did lose to her she didnt think there would be many hard feelings. She spoke how she started young with kids and how there were issues at the start. Like most parenting was she supposed. It also felt nice to have someone with more experience around with cubs. While her brother had his, it was different from an experienced mother. Though the woman before her was slightly younger. That didnt matter much to her.

Moving to a more laid down position now she stretched out. Feeling the warmth of the sand under her fur. Eyes watching Ishak more in particular at the moment knowing she had been a bit to quite for awhile. But with other cubs around it seemed they stayed out of the worse of trouble. "It will be nice traveling with other cubs, they seem to help keep each other occupied making our job easier." this was the most easy time she has had with them in a bit.

"They're only occupied because no one is bored." She snickered, knowing all too well what a bored cub would be able to get their nose into. "And with more of them, there's more directions to run when they orchestrate 'okay, scatter!'" It was as if she was speaking from experience or something. Jewel's expression was amused, however, her tails shifting and flicking to attempt to keep some eyeballs occupied. She was enjoying the conversation and hoped that the other female would be enjoying their time together as well. Jewel listened to the sound of the waves crashing in the distance and had to wonder, as she peered towards the mountains to the north what it was that all these lions would find out here on the sandbar. Jyzara was in deed enjoying her time here today and if asked would gladly share. It was easy enough to talk to her. She nodded in agreeance to her view on the cubs scattering having had her own do that before. She then asked what was her home like before here. She paused for a moment and spoke. "Well where I lived with Hiba before was vast land that was surrounded by mountains. We lived in a pride that had many waterfalls. I lost the pride during the last days of my pregnancy due to use being invaded by rouges and I didnt have the numbers to handle them." another pause as she thought of her birth lands. "Where I was before was also a vast land, many territories. I lived in a huge kingdom with many of the lands in the north. The royal area was the beach however so thats were I spent much of my time till I claimed my own pride as part of the kingdome" She didnt want to go into the issue that had come from that, at least not yet. It was a difficult time in her life. how about you?"

She smiled at what Jyzara described, her expression softening. "So you've experience with leading a pride... that's actually... A good thing to have." Jewel might have more life experience when it came to dealing with child rearing, but pride leading would be a new experience for her, certainly. She was enamoured with the story hat Jyzara had to tell and supposed that she could almost see the picture that the words painted. "Well.. our land was fairly normal... my first litters father was the king of the pride that I had been claimed into.. But when another lion challenged him, I took them and we escaped. I know what happens when males take over." She frowned, her expression darkening. "I wouldn't let anyone do that to my children.. So we wandered until I found a place to call home.. Just the five of us.." It was hard, but she enjoyed the sunlight and the small lake they had settled upon.""

She felt pride fill her when she spoke about experience leading a pride. She nodded, she also listened to what she had to say about the last pride she was in. The father of the cubs. She grimaced, thinking about the male she had dethroned in her youth. What he had done. "I have been leading since I was just under adulthood. Granted I had the support of other leaders that were family for the most part. But was basically treated as a Heir. Even after I grew up fully. Part of why I left. But then was only not ruling for about a year before I met Hiba." showing the full extent of her experience. Hoping it would help her understand why she should be leader.

"So I see..I would hope that this land is different, but without being able to get further into the heart.. I worry that it will not be so." I had hoped that in this land, it would be a chance to stretch my legs, test my mettle.. and to give the best opportunity for the children to grow and learn.. Jyzara listened to her talk. Giving a few nods to show she was listening and understanding. During this she admitted she hadnt ruled a pride herself but hoped she could. Protecting her cubs. She understood this. She would respect her strength if she won. Though would be addiment of having a high rank should she put herself under her.

However she would watch closely and wouldnt hesitate to take the spot herself if she felt that she couldnt handle it. "Ranks are a good way to insure safty, but not foolproof, we will need capable adults to help protect. As well if you gain the leader rank, I request that if I stay I have a high rank to advise and help you as you learn." putting it out here. "And if I obtain the rank I shall extend the curtesy to you, as to help you gain those goals." Honesty. That had to be the fondation between them should this happen.

To be honest, Jewel hoped that when the fog lifted, it would be Jyzara - the more experienced of the two laying her claim to a land.. she would know what to look for, after all.. What would best suite supporting the lives of lions. Yet, Jewel had a kernel within herself that hoped if she stumbled upon something first, that she would be able to tap into long forgotten or unaware instincts to know what it was she would be searching for. "Of course." In fact, the younger female wouldn't have it any other way. Being able to have a rank to defend her children under Jyzara, or being able to have the other woman stand at her side if she was the one to rule.. Both would mean that the pair had the trust in each other. Though, she knew that while they were bound together as of now with common goals - they would need to continually re-affirm and strengthen that bond into one of true friendship.""
