She didn’t respond much as @Aphrodite ♔ spoke of appreciation, what really needed to be acknowledged still? Instead she rolled her shoulders, stretching as she felt a tightness creeping into her muscles. She’d need to move soon for sure, the stone was quickly becoming less comfortable by the moment. As she asked if she like to tell stories Rose couldn’t help but laugh, You could say that my queen. I relish in all form of arts, but the spoken forms strike my muse most often. she admitted.

With @Rose confirming what she had already thought and assumed, Aphrodite would smile at the woman beside her. It made this decision ever the more easier for the Cove Queen. Would you be interested in taking up the position of Lead Storyteller? She would ask, tilting and raising an eyebrow towards Rose curiously. Wondering if she'd take the offer or if she'd deny it. You can tell all of your stories, or sing them, to the children or lions that want to listen. And as a Lead you can help recruit, but I don't expect you too if you don't want to. I expect those duties to befall on my higher ranked lions. Did it really count anymore for Aphrodite to call them hers? She wasn't sure really.

Interested in being a whatsit now? Rose tilted her head to the side in slight confusion, but thankfully @Aphrodite ♔ was quick to explain. They needed someone to tell stories to the pride- given the growing womb of the queen before her she had an idea that cubsitter might also become synonymous with her role before king if she chose to take it up. Fortunately for the mother to be she didn’t think she’d mind that one but, especially given her all too recent musing about children of her own in the future. It would be a trial run to occupy any maternal instincts that might be kicked up by settling down for awhile anyway. It also gave her a reason- no a duty to share her art and passion. I’d be honored and delighted! she chirped cheerfully, mind already beginning to wander towards what her first story to the coming cubs would be. How long did she have to wait for them to be able to hear her anyway?

She would wait patiently for @Rose to make her decision. She was a patient woman sometimes and Aphrodite would keep that patience now as she waited. But it didn't take long as Rose accepted her offer and Aphrodite would give the woman a grin. I can't wait to hear more of your stories and songs. She would comment, grinning a bit more as she found herself shifting just a bit. The rock beneath her form was becoming uncomfortable and it would cause Aphroidte to get up and stretch out some of the soreness that had begun to grow with their lounging. I would hate to cut this short, but this rock is no longer comfortable. She would chuckle.

She returned the grin offered to her by @Aphrodite ♔ and followed suit as the queen rose to her feet. As I look forward to entertaining you and yours with them! she commented already lost in thought about the yarns she would spin and songs she would sing. Maybe she’d even make a musical instrument now that she was settling in the area. One had been too impractical to carry with her when she’d wandered, but could easily be stored in pride lands out of the way when not in use. As Aphrodite spoke of growing uncomfortable she shook her head. it’s quite alright my queen, this wet air makes even my joints ache on this stone, I can only imagine how it’s making you feel. she offered another smile before taking a few tentative steps away and towards the edge of the ledge they perched on, It was lovely sharing the morning with you my queen, if you find yourself bored, or in need some help keeping those cubs entertained when they arrive, I am at your disposal. she offered another bow before moving to depart - unless the other woman had reason to stop her. -exit, unless stopped

It seemed that Rose had the same idea and Aphrodite would smile at her before dipping her own head. I will keep that in mind. She would state just as Rose would pass her and go down the path to leave. At first, Aphrodite would stand there and glance around the area that she stood on. To see the kingdom she ruled over and the thoughts that ran through her heard. There was a few things she was planning to do. To change. And Miaran was not going to like it one bit but Aphrodite needed her to now that she would not be talked to like she was some trash, or walked on like she was a floor mat. That was how she felt right now. With a soft sigh, Aphrodite finally turned and began to walk to her den so that she could get a good nap in.
