October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

his heart thuds in his chest, alive with wrath. it's more than violence here, it's survival of the fittest; a battle between two large males bristling in their prime. in the back of harou's mind, he would be feeling reckless and on edge, a delicious sensation that weave with his need to feel pain; his need to feel this level of damnation. if he is so cursed, he will hope to meet scorpius on the other side.

by now, his wounds would have soaked through his thick, merle fur; the blood saturating into his skin as red rivulets would weave down his neck. the bite marks would swell with blood, the pain intense, but it's pure adrenaline that keeps him going. scorpius is a formidable foe, and harou will not back down from this.

thus, harou would manage to bring his wounded paw back down to the ground, but more crimson would slide down his wrist, hitting the floor in a rhythmic pitter-patter. the wolf's jaws snaps for those swarthy facial featurse of his opponent, but scorpius would attack forward, too, temporarily grabbing harou by the lower jaw.

it's a white-hot jolt of pain that the merle titan feels as he leans into the other's savage bite, his lower jaw now bearing garish lacerations. harou would attempt to close his jaws around scorpius' snout, attempting to smash his upper fangs down upon the flesh there, but he would not try to hold this attack for long - harou would try to swerve away, eventually, attempting to pull his head back from the other's man reach because the pain is simply too much.

calculating his next move, the winter titan would lift his other paw, attempting to slam his claws into scorpius' face. his talons would splay outward, aiming to claw up those facial muscles beneath their glistening, ebony curve.

Scorpius

It would have been a death grip, an abrupt end to this fight - to hold the weaker, lower jaw between one’s fangs and snap it ends a life as surely as talons through the jugular. It might have taken longer, it might have taken days or weeks for the true end, but it would happen.

Do it. Do it. Do it.

Scorpius’s intends to clamp down on the offered jaw, sacrificing his snout in the process. Harou’s jaw slips into his mouth, tongue and teeth smacking against his own in a painful, brutal way, and that stabbing pain through his skull resonates a moment of horrible, perfect clarity that cuts through the red haze.

What are you doing?

It’s in that moment that Harou manages to slip his jaw free from Scorpius's suddenly slack grip, but not before crushing Scorpius’s snout and ripping skin from his nose. Minor wounds, but they always hurt the most. The one he cannot feel - his bleeding neck, his numb shoulder - are what will concern him later… if he is alive to be concerned.

From the corner of his half-blind eye, he sees movement and reacts accordingly; as the other beast’s paw comes for his face, the Miroslav attempts to lunge toward it, jaws open and grabbing not for the wrist, but the elbow as it lifts. He attempts to lock his jaws around it, letting those oncoming claws rip into the side of his face and neck and mane, and yank backwards - his weight, his strength, all focused on trying to force the other male over, or to stagger. At the same time, his foreleg opposite Harou’s lifts and attempts to smash into the usurper's cheek, and eye.

by now fatigue has begun to set, coupled by the blood loss and his numerous wounds.

harou feels himself weakening, taking hit after hit of the miroslav's attacks. he has barely managed to slip his jaw free of the man's attack - his jawbone nearly snapping in the process - and it would be pure luck that harou would be able to maneuver and escape free of the behemoth's intense grip. a radiant, mind-blowing pain would thus bloom from this, as harou swerves backward, attempting to reposition himself by jerking himself free. his jaw would drip down with lots of blood, their meaty tendons lacerated by the fangs of scorpius', and the dull sensation would continue to stab at his throbbing nerves.

his own teeth would have worked around scorpius' snout, smashing down to their fullest extent and filling his mouth with the other's blood, but harou would release it as soon as he senses his own flesh being severed from bone. as harou lifts his leg to slam his talons into scorpius' face, blood would run down his nails like crimson rivers. it would soak his wrist, his fur, his skin. but scorpius is quick to retaliate, finding harou's elbow and latching on. the pain would electrify, sending a wave of shock through the merle titan, as his opponent's fangs digs into the sensitive tendons. by now harou feels numb with the pain, driven only by the sheer will and absolute brutality.

blood flies from his mouth as a guttural snarl escapes the wolf's throat. harou would stumble forward a little, attempting to keep his balance by using scorpius' frame as leverage; just as scorpius hits him in the face, lacerating his features and forcing blood down his cheek and temple. in response, harou would try and lift both his arms, in an attempt to wrap it around scorpius' neck in a bear hug, hoping this sudden move/tackle would possibly force scorpius to release his elbow. simultaneously, harou would attempt to thrust his jaws forward, his fangs salivating as they aim to grab scorpius anywhere near the neck.

it was all or nothing, life or death.

Dripping from the open mouth, I'll show you
What you look like from the inside

Latching onto the giving flesh of an arm, teeth dig in and Scorpius tastes hot, vibrant blood. Not his own, though his mouth is so full of it that he can hardly tell one from another. Some insane urge to swallow nearly overwhelms him, though whether that is a reaction to nearly choking with a throat so full or instinct to drink, he can’t tell. Either way, he ignores it. He has the grip he wants, the pull he’s earned, and Scorpius feels Harou begin to stumble. He feels the give. The weakness.

Maybe he can win this.

Maybe he’ll live after this, this little taste of revenge.

Harou’s limb wraps around his neck, and Scorpius is forced to bear the weight of another large male. It’s no small thing, even with a bigger frame. He tries to hold on to the leg, despite the claws ripping into his skin, but a hot breath against him and jaws ripping into his mane and neck force him to let go. The leg is abandoned but Scorpius will not bend, he will not break. Instead of ripping backwards like his instincts scream at him to do, he attempts to wrap a foreleg under Harou’s lifted leg and dig his claws into his ribcage, and throw all his weight into attempting to shove the other male sideways and down onto the ground.

their bloodlust continues - pain ebbing - throbbing, igniting across his many, many wounds. blood slips down harou's face, partially blinding him; saturating him in the visercal red. the wolf pants savagely, breathing hungrily against the miroslav; the wrath, oozing from the titan's core as scorpius' blood fills his mouth like wine. it's not enough.

it will never be enough.

harou wants more.

snarling wickedly, harou would once again dig his fangs into the behemoth's neck, his muscular arms surrounding scorpius, now, as he seeks to grapple the larger male and violently shove against him. but it's the thing that harou least expects - the feeling of scorpius letting go of his elbow - and the way his opponent's arm would suddenly thrust forward, under and around him.

he will feel the other's talons piercing his flesh, then, and the forward momentum of scorpius barrelling into him, as sharp claws dig into harou's ribcage, leaving ugly hooked lacerations behind.

harou would seek to hold his position upright as best he as could, but the tension would finally snap, his massive paws scraping against jagged rubble below as the army's wolf relents to the bigger male. harou is not going down alone, however, as he attempts to bring the swarthy male down with him; his toned arms rippling forward to try and further hook around the miroslav's neck, his claws attempting to slice through flesh, just as harou stumbles and falls downward.

whilst falling, harou would attempt to snap at scorpius as they clash, tumble; attempting to thrust his jaws into the side of his opponent's neck and get the other in a violent hold.

Dripping from the open mouth, I'll show you

For a moment, it’s a battle of strength. Try as the other male might, Scorpius simply has size on his side, and Harou yields under the pressure of the colossal lion forcing him down. There’s no saving his own stability so Scorpius doesn’t try. He falls with Harou, the usurper's claws digging deep into his shoulders, forcing him to remain in place as they tumble.

Harou’s teeth find a piece of Scorpius’s already torn neck, and the Miroslav seeks to return the favour - blood and drool covered fangs attempt to snap into the other male’s throat, and at the same time he simply drops his weight down, trying to pin the lion under him, with his claws trying to dig into his sides - the same way Scorpius would bring down a particularly large prey animal.

It isn’t pretty, it isn’t neat - exhaustion clouds his mind, giving him only a few steps to think ahead. The end is close, so very close. One way or another, it’s only a matter of moments. Of heartbeats. How many does he have left?

they tumble down; the colossal weight shoved on top of him, barrelling downward, nearly crushing. harou lets out a breathy snarl, the pain intensifying sevenfold, as he feels scorpius climb heavily on top. the army's wolf would try and seize the behemoth's neck whilst he is underneath; his fangs tearing into the other's flesh as blood fills his mouth, down his throat.

harou's own blood would bleed out to the floor as scorpius would grab him by the neck, too, leaving heavy puncture wounds into the flesh and layers of fur. those weapons clawing up harou. all that gore. all that blood.

ebbing. fading. oozing.

thick rivulets of crimson that would stain the sands red.

thick rivulets of crimson that would drip down harou's pale fur.

in his last and final attempt - on the verge of fatigue, on the verge of fading - the army's wolf would try and sink his fangs deeper and deeper into scorpius' neck, his claws swooping upward in another attempt to gouge out the mirsolav's eyes. this is it for the winter titan.

the wolf either lives, or dies.

Perhaps they’ll both bleed out, and neither walks away. Scorpius isn’t sure he has the strength to stand again. If he dies here, perhaps Harou will be crushed under his weight and die too. Would it be so bad, to die overlooking the dunes, the oasis in the distance? Red eyes, blurry with blood and blood-loss, flick upward, seeking that one last glimpse of his home, his kingdom. But he cannot make it out; everything is red and shadows, and Andal is lost.

No, no, he cannot die yet.

Claws scrape down his face, no doubt seeking his eyes, and Scorpius shuts them hard, bears down as Harou struggles and bites and uses the last of his strength to win, to live. Both of them want that - it cannot be helped. The desire to live is overwhelming in the face of the end.

All the Miroslav can do is bear the pain and hold, trying to clam down in a slow, agonising attempt to suffocate before he bleeds out.

Dripping from the open mouth, I'll show you
What you look like from the inside

Silence.

In the wake of flesh ripping, guttural growls and snarls, it is deafening. The pounding drum in Scorpius’s head ends, the warbeat driving him on and on - gone. The lion under him takes a shuddering gasp as Scorpius’s jaws unclench. He pushes weakly onto his paws, staggers a few steps backward, staring through bloodied eyes at what he’s done.

He’s going to win.

He’s won.

Teeth, painted red, flash from behind his lips as he approaches once again, eyeing the thick jugular still pulsing with life. Is he awake? Can he feel Scorpius hovering above, readying himself to deliver the killing blow? Jaws part slowly, aching from the battle, as the Miroslav lowers his head.

Inches from Harou’s throat, those fangs hover. That same feeling from before crashes over Scorpius as he stands above his victim. When he’d held the usurper’s jaw, ready to break it, he’d hesitated. That feeling returns, colliding with the promise of revenge, tearing Scorpius in two.

His gaze roams upward, lingering on the mutilated face, stained with their blood, and then meeting weary, living eyes with his own. His laugh is cold, wet and thick and exhausted, and alive.

"We are not done."

Exit.
