Set not long after this thread.

Blood ran down his neck from where Harou had tried to skin him alive. He hurt. So very badly but he had only really been able to make it back to the cove due to adrenaline and shock keeping the pain at bay. However as he neared the sea the salty air began to sting his wounds. His head also hurt from the bruising that was forming from the larger lion’s headbutt. Stumbling over the borders he called out hoping that @Khadija was near as he stumbled his way to her den before his strength left him. Collapsing with a thud against the sand he panted. Breathing heavy he wondered how bad his neck was going to scar while also wondering if anyone else from the pride had been able to get out of there. He knew there had still been some fights going on when he made his exit, but he had been in no shape to jump in and aid anyone.

Wounds: Bruising on head, deep gashes and shredded skin on neck around scruff and on sides of neck near scruff.

She had stayed behind so the pride lands weren't left unprotected. Her anxiety was nearly unbearable knowing many including Miaran were in there and she couldn't know in which conditions. A deep sigh left her jaws as she waited on the borders for anybsigns of her pridemates.

Finally a figure appears, Milano in a poor condition. His call only worked to increase her fear and when they were close to her den she prepared a soft bed and all of her supplies. "Come lay down. I will tend to you." She started ti checking his condition at first glance.

His neck and shoulders were the worst. So she was going to focuse her efforts in that area and later cate for the rest.

On shaky legs he pushed himself up with the strength he had left and did as told when @Khadija instructed him to come and lay down. He was thankful for her. Thankful that the pride had a healer. He was also glad she had chosen to remain at the cove. With the oasis pride trying to steal from them he worried that if she had came that a target would have been on her as well. Healers and medics were important treasures after all. "Thank you - I. It was chaos." He started to explain what happened but stopped not wanting to freak her out. "Allies betrayed us." He whispered though it did start mostly with Aphrodite butting into a fair fight between two cubs, but he wasn’t really thinking straight.

Ears pinned as she tried to keep herself collected, knowing any negative emotions could make her do mistakes, and she could not let that happen right now with a patient on her paws. He wasnt going to die but these wounds could get nasty if they werent taken care of. "Do you have any internal pain? Or only outside?" She asked as she started to prepare a potion using anticeptic plants such as FRANKINCENSE along with palm oil.

She mixes them up until it becomes a more liquid substance but dry enough to be sparsed in a wound. "Who? And what happened to Miaran?" Did she left safe and sound? She thought to herself.

"This is a concogtion which has FRANKINCENSE and Palm oil, both are for killing any bacteria and infection." She cleans the wound of his upper neck first, using water and a soft animal fur. she tries to clean it as gently as she could before softly place some of her concoction of herbs, hoping it would work. "I should have been there..". She keeps working.

He really didn’t know much about plants just that some could be used for healing. Which ones could and what their use was well that he didn’t know. His mama thought him some when he was younger but he hadn’t really retained that knowledge. So he was completely trusting @Khadija to not murder him with her pretty plants. At her question though he found himself returning to the moment from a wandering mind. "Head hurt from a headbutt and dizzy, but no other pain inside." He answered as she worked on him. Grunting as his wounds stung a bit while being worked on. He would struggle though. Instead he would grin and bare it.

"No. you are too valuable and important. It is good you stayed home. No one expected an ally to turn on us. Theft challenges were breaking out all over the place." He tried to reassure her.

Khadija nodded at his assessment of potential internal pain or damage yet it was a relief there were none. "That's great to hear." She smiled trying to soothe him yet herself couldn't say she was any happier with the situation but she had to try. For both of their mental health.

"If you rest and keep things easy and ensure a good sleep and nutrition any headaches shall stop in a few days." She explained detailed so he knew what to do in order to try ceasing any residual pain from the fight.

She sighed. "That's sadly an Amaryllis tendency. It is not rare, I was born and raised here and I had seen plenty of pride challenges turning into wars, myself had been stolen from a pride when I was younger." She said as if it was a normal thing yet she didn't stop feeling nervous to think Miaran could had been kidnapped too. "Did anyone of us got stolen?" Could she do something about it? Perhaps. But for now she worked on treating his wounds with all the care in the world.

She nods at his speech, yeah he was right. It could had been very tempting to steal Medics. Yet she could had fought for her queen. "I understand.. well let's hope things get better but I doubt it." Then she says. "These two plants can help you clean the wounds if you get some of them with you." It could be a life saver.

It was good that they had @Khadija but he did feel back that he had to come to her in such a state and worry her. Listening to her instructions he would have to make sure that he postponed any hunts for a bit. The cache was full so as long as no one gorged themselves it should stretch.

"Ok thank you. Hopefully the cache is full enough that going a bit longer without hunting won’t affect us too much." He stated his concerns out loud to the lioness. Though it wasn’t like he was the only one hunting for them all.

Ears perked as she told her story about what it is like in Amaryllis. Letting out a sigh he huffed his words. "That is terrible! I am sorry that happened to you. I know stealing and claiming is a way of life for some but I don’t believe in it. Just because I want something or someone that isn’t mine doesn’t mean it is ok to just take it. Of course I’ll defend of course though." As he explained his feelings he couldn’t help but feel comfortable with the medic. Enough to open up to her. They were pride mates after all.

Now thinking back to the fighting he shook his head softly wincing for a moment. That was stupid. "No. None of us, but when I left there was a a couple fights trying to steal some of them. I should have stayed. Should have helped more." As he spoke he felt guilty for not staying and fighting more. Though Harou had done quite the number on him.

"I mean i can always hunt for you," She said as she wanted to take off him the stress of not being able to hunt for a bit. She wished to make his recovery any less chaotic, to give him a peaceful one.

She shook her head. "it is fine, i asked for it. I was mean back then. I deserved all that happened to me." And even now she still had throuble with forgivong herself for all the bad choices in her youth.

"Dont blame yourself. Someone coul had done somethig worse to you if you have not left when you did. I would not like for you to get any more harm." And it was her being honest, telling the truth of how she would feel in that situation of him being even more harmed.

'I mean I can always hunt for you.' Those words rung in his skull. Like a ping pong ball bouncing around as he thought about what @Khadija had just said. There hadn’t really been many in his life, none outside his family that had even suggested that. "You’d be willing to go that far and hunt for a stranger?” He asked. They had just met and it was true they were now part of the same pride, but even prides needed time to get to know each other before they stopped being strangers. Then again he hunts for everyone and is a stranger to them so what was the difference?

Blinking he cleared his mind as he just shrugged at her. "Aren’t we all a bit of a brat in our youth?" Suggested and spoken as if he was some grizzly aged lion and not some spry young man just leaving his teenage stage. Now listening to her words about it he had stayed something worse could have happened to him he said nothing but just sighed and nodded.

She nodded without hesitation. She would gladly offer a paw to her a pridemate. She wasn't a hunter of trade but she could still hunt down and lead fights. She had done so in the past. "We are pridemates, and it doesn't bother me to help you. Please let me support you." She begged. "It is the least I can do after not being there.."After not being there to support them.

She stared away. "Well... I was forced to raid a pride years ago when I was a yearling.. I was blinded by his sweet talk and all I wanted back then was approbation. So I went into that raid and almost maimed a woman..though I had always regretted that and I deserve all the bad things that had happened to me. It is just karma." She finished patching him up. "Fell free to stay here for along as you wish okay? Rest all you need and I shall check on you later on." And as such she left to get a few more items for some medications.
