She wasn't expecting to be told anything, so when the male begins to spill the details she listens closely. She notes the slightest twitch in his expression, clear distain for how he had been treated due to his assigned sex. A vulnerability. Though she would only use it if she really needed to. Icefang could be reasonable and motherly...as long as she wasn't crossed. He spins a tale she has heard too many times, thoughts drifting to Etain's own upbringing. Singled out. Clearly, his mother was not the queen any longer unless he decided to surprise her and say it was Isla, but Icefang can only assume it is some other female that birthed him. Maybe his siblings were there? Though she imagines he is likely to close up after what he has already said. Such things took careful prying and she was likely digging her claws in a little too deep. A little too fast. Greedy as always for a taste.

He cups her chin and she keeps the same cool gaze, despite the surprise that threatens to spill over when she senses almost a...softness to his words. Was he capable of emotion under that dark exterior? She does not fully understand the extent of he she says, but she takes it. Before she can consider probing at him, his paw drops and he speaks the words she wants to hear. Already, the previous statement forgotten, mischief gleaming in those blue pools. He mentions a son and one ear lifts expecting to be asked for the boy. A trade she was willing to make, confident that her body will at least provide her more than one child despite her advancing age. One more generation to shape through her laws. Shocker again. He wishes for the boy to live a just life. At this moment, she realizes that the scars of his childhood has influenced how he feels towards her and his desire in doing this for her. For the family.

Icefang nods, always so serious in the wrong moments. "Done," she affirms and for a few moments she is silent holding her breath and wondering if he will pull out that infamous grin and tell her she is a fool for believing that it all could be so easy. Surely he wanted more from her. Men always did, especially considering the way she had treated him in nearly every encounter. No, she expected he would make her pay for her actions.

She probes for more and he is nearly inclined to tell her. To tell her everything there was to know. About his past. About him. But he also remembered who it was he was speaking to. No matter what had gone down last night, this was still @Icefang ♔. And he was far yet from fully trusting her.

Taraji. He says simply after a moment of contemplatively studying her face. One of my sisters. Last she and I spoke she resided in Firnen. Whether she still remained there didn't really concern him. She could have ended up dead since then and he more than likely wouldn't think twice on it.
But if she were alive and if she were willing to forsake the Anatu name.. Willing to bend to him as Patriarch.. She was always the more even tempered of my family. You would probably like her. Even if he felt more disdain than adoration for his litter mate, Cassius would not turn away an able body that could potentially benefit his future Empire.

She agrees with his terms in regards to any possible offspring and though he does not show it, he is mildly surprised. Followed by the tiniest wave of relief. A small comfort he allows himself to momentarily have in knowing a child of his; a son, would not have to endure senseless abuses. Other's kids though? Pft.

Now that all the business is settled, he indeed grins down at her. Slow and cunning. But maybe not for reasons she would assume. He moves. Swift and firm. An arm once again hooking her waist to pull her in. Fearlessly willing to undo all the grooming she had just finished. His nose seeks to bury into her throat; inhaling her still lingering heat. Best be heading home before someone sees you. Deep and playful baritone brushing against her pale fur. Unless you want them to see all the ways in which you could make me submit. A dare. Clearly now wide awake as well as recharged.

He gives her a name. A sister. Icefang records the name in her memory, disappointed that it is not someone she has run across before. Would she be able to tell by sight when she ran into strangers? Was that crescent moon on his forehead a prominent gene? Or the wicked grin? While it was an important detail to know, the matter was not relevant now to do anything further with the information. She would throw the name to her lead scout, Cathan but not occupy him to search for this girl Taraji. "Mm," she rumbles when he mentions that she would probably like her. That was to be decided. If they ever met that is. Not even @Cassius ♔ seemed concerned about her whereabouts, so she wouldn't concern herself either.

His grin has her heart beating in anticipation. There it was. The catch to their deal. Her breath stops in her throat, the cougar speechless when his arm wraps around her pulling her dangerously close. Could he feel the electricity that zapped her every time they touched? Or the rapid beating of her pulse when he buries his nose into her throat? A feral growl drowned by lust emits through clenched teeth as he breathes her scent in. He teases her and she huffs using the close proximity of his ear to her advantage. "As tempting as that is..." her voice is low and gruff "I have queenly duties to return to." One paw slides up rubbing against his chest and following the pathway past his throat, along his cheek, and to his nose. The entire time she playfully traces her claws along this trail, gently applying pressure so that he can feel it, but soft enough to prevent any tearing of his skin. Covering his nose with her paw she would push against him to shift his chin down slightly, her own face pulling back so that they can lock gazes once more. "Though if you beg for me, I'll fuck you instead." She leans forward, placing a hungry kiss on that infamous white moon, a soft whisper as she hovers above it. "Maybe I'm starting not to care if someone sees." She smirks, face pulling back to search for any expression as she swiftly ducks beneath his arm and starts to walk away. Her torn ear flicks back, listening if he will attempt to give chase and pin her beneath him once more. Surely, her guards would find them if she stayed any longer. The entire pride knew they were on the verge of war and as a result, it was rare that she left the Brook alone. Especially after her lie about being ambushed by the Lagoon. Though there is a tiny spark of mischief that ignites in her at the idea of being caught like two sneaky teenagers. Internally she knows any sentries would be forced to wait until she was done rather than dare interrupt her, but maybe it would be fun for once to get caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

Even if he could not feel the pull within her body, he knew it was there within his own. No matter how wrong it may be, or how taboo, he would not seek to let her go easily. The kisses he sought to press into the side of her neck only grow rougher. More demanding.

He only grunts his own huffing response. Queenly duties be damned. When her tracing claw passes over his face, he attempts to catch it gently between his teeth. She kisses his forehead and the words that flow from her bewitching lips only brings a blinding hot need to ignite within his eyes.

Cassius' brows knit as she slips out from around him. Making move to leave. His tongue plays with a canine beneath his lips. She wanted him to beg? Fine. He was an arrogant male but he was not deaf to the desires of his partner. Even though there was no love in the way he fucked some of his conquests, it was all too clear how they felt about it. Seeing as they always came back for more.

He is up, taking what few paces there were to catch her. To stop her. To stand before her with lowered head. Plenty of duties here, My Queen. Cassius rumbles, grinning devilishly up as he speaks the last title. Teeth seeking to nip along her jawline. I want you. He adds, faux pleading, body moving in closer. I need you. The words trailed up along her cheek. Let me pleasure you until all you see are stars. Until he can whisper with husky breath, Please. Right into her ear, Icefang.

In seconds he is blocking her path, Icefang stopping as his jaws tease a trail to her ear. He begs and it is enough to satisfy her even if the words are not genuine. It is enough to be able to claim that she made him do it. Made him stop her from walking out of his grasp and say those delicious words spewing from his throat right now. She smirks, her own lips gently grazing the ear she has become quite familiar with for the past twelve hours. "Good boy," she praises and with that she falls beneath him again, excited to meet the stars he has promised to introduce her to.
