Aphrodite Goddess of the Dead Though she wore the fur around her shoulders and down her back, Aphrodite was regretting it entirely by the time she found herself in the center of the Jungle. It was one of the many places she had yet to visit but she knew that there were plants here. Safe from the harsh winters that have overcome Amaryllis. But in the Jungle, it wasn't overbearingly hot nor was it uncomfortably cold but there was a medium and with the fur she had as a blanket, Aphrodite felt like she was sweating her ass off as she walked through the Jungles undergrowth looking for any of the plants she might recognize from her travels and teachings. +10 Gather poisonous plants @Ardghal"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

The dense undergrowth of the jungle regions where becoming one of his favorite places to linger. There was so much edible vegetation, cool places to hide and sleep, and a pretty safe location to get water. Today happened to be no different than any of the rest as he spent his time shoveling various plants into his mouth for his meal.

Ew! The calf would yelp before curling his trunk inwards and pulling one of the plants that was rather bitter from his mouth. How did something so foul get in his regular grazing patch? Who put this here? The youth would complain while flinging the plant at a nearby tree.

Aphrodite Goddess of the Dead Her ears twisted on top of her head as she listened to the surrounding areas around her. She heard the occasional noise from the creatures and as her violet jewels kept scanning the areas for the plants that she was hunting for, the words of another erupted from the Jungle and she stopping in her tracks long enough to glance around and spot a creature she hadn't seen in Amaryllis before. Granted, Aphrodite had seen the creature in her travels but not here and as Aphrodite got closer, she would come to find out that the elephant was just a youngster. Still growing. Really should be careful with what you eat. Some of these plants can harm you or do worse. @Ardghal"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

He was in prime real estate. There was no one else here well besides the rabbits that followed him around and ate everything that fell out of his mouth - but that was to be expected. But the plants' bitter taste still sat heavily in his mouth with a few spits being all it took to dislodge a few more as his trunk coiled around the most foul-tasting one.

Really should be careful with what you eat. Some of these plants can harm you or do worse.

His head would turn towards the lioness that was warning him from sticking everything he saw in his bottomless pit of a stomach. Under it all, he would really have to learn to control his urges but that didn't stop him from raising his trunk in @Aphrodite ♔ 's direction and holding out the slightly chewed and soggy plant. What's this one and why does it taste bad? The calf would question while spitting out a few more stray fibers from his mouth.

Aphrodite Goddess of the Dead She had really expected him to be startled. To take off running or call for its mother but none of those things happened besides spitting out whatever part of the plant he had tasted was still in his mouth and holding the thing in his trunk. She began to move closer so that she could get a better look over the soggy plant and chuckled at him. This is one of the less harmful ones in this area. It's called a Devil's pepper. She would leave out the poison if only to not scare him to much. Insomina, loss of appetite are the symptoms. She would begin to explain, glancing around and wondering if she could find the plant that would help get rid of any that had gotten into his stomach, but she didn't see any in this area. @Ardghal"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

Ears would flap forward a multitude of times in agitation. Why was the plant named something tasty but was so unappetizing and made one sick? A small snort was emitted from the calf as he flung the slobbery half-chewed plant over yonder. tasty name, but not tasty. He would grumble before glancing at the castoff leavings of his abandoned meal. I will get skinny? That didn't sound bad and he didn't know what insomnia was, so it sounded like that plant had all the benefits to him.

But his thoughts swirl away from the idea that he might have potentially ate something bad...again, but went back to the idea of eating. Did you want some plants too? The calf would ask with a quiet huff. He didn't want to share his trees and twigs, but he supposed he would be greedy if he didn't offer @Aphrodite ♔ a leaf or two!

Aphrodite Goddess of the Dead She would listen to his words and give him a smirk before shrugging her shoulders. You may or may not, it all depends on whether or not you actually swallowed that plant. If he just tasted it long enough to spit it out then she didn't think he'd have any of those issues but there was surely to be another option to help him out and Aphrodite began to glance around again before she would shoulder her pouch off and over her shoulder before she began to look through it herself. Then he offered her plants and Aphrodite shook her head, The plants I seek you can't eat. Unless he wanted to die and Aphrodite didn't think that the young elephant was ready to die at such a young age. She could be wrong. @Ardghal"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

The calf stops and thinks about it for a long moment. Did he swallow that plant? Did he just chew it a little bit? What would happen if a stray leaf got in his stomach? Would that stray leaf make him skinny? Would his momma like him if he became skinny? What happens if he was skinny? Could he run while skinny? Could he eat while skinny? What about walking while skinny? His mind was in full swing as Ardghal tried to answer each question but kept coming up short when it came to the answers.

Why can't I eat them? Would those plants make him skinny? Did all plants make him skinny? What happens if he ate another plant and got skinny? The thoughts would not stop. After she put the thought of being skinny in his head he could not shake it out. It kept firing, shot after shot as he daydreamed about being a scrawnier version of himself. Notion - electric are the neurons as they finally connect. He was an elephant, if he was skinny he would not be cute for he was cute round.

Realization finally dawned. Ardghal has never been skinny and his mother only said he was cute when he was like this. He would stay not skinny. Solution finally at hand he would smile warmly towards @Aphrodite ♔ as he watches her dig through something. Want some help?

Aphrodite Goddess of the Dead If she had known that thought was continuously running through his mind then she would've reassured him about a lot of those thoughts. But he didn't voice them so she didn't reassure them. Instead, she kept digging into her pouch until she found huffed. His question caused her to stop and look over to the young elephant. Would you like to die at a young age? Or live you life until you grow to old to live and the earth calls for your body? She would ask, tilting her head at him. But she stopped looking through her pouch and sat there thinking of what she could do to help him out. I didn't find what I was looking for in there. She would admit, glancing around once again. @Ardghal"Talk here." && 'Think here.'

The lioness continues to dig around for something and the calf would tilt his head. What was she doing? But then she asks him a question - when would he like to die? The question makes the calf furrow his brow at it as he pulls a plant from the ground and then holds it out to her. I don't ever wanna die. Ardghal would cheerfully explain before glancing down at the ground and the plant. What where you looking for? He would ask before suddenly changing his mind about giving it to her and shoving it into his open mouth.
