he's sharpening his talons against a rock, encumbered by boredom. yet stagnancy never bodes well for the vehement beast, for the progeny of harou's, and it is with a hungry disheveled-ness that arawn finally prowls forth; his muscular limbs surging with the promises of hunger, his athletic form shifting beneath the brazen sun. like a slavering wolf, his lean flesh surges beneath the lowlights of day, his jaws agape as he drew in the combined fragrances of torn flesh and the withered, blood-splattered remains decorating the cold earth, in its visceral display;

the permeating stench of blood that oozes against the atmosphere would thus beckon the young man, forward; the pouring of sunlight illuminating the winter-ravaged terrain, touching his wild features into something unbidden and unholy, as carmine eyes greedily devours the open spaces of the arena. as he pulls away from the shadowy confines of the colloseum and steps into view, arawn unleashes a blood-curdling snarl, beckoning forth any opponent who wishes to engage in a bloodied dance.

eagerly, arawn waits, his talons scraping above the cold, hard earth, his ears slamming down into the thick folds of his silken mane; chimerian features twisting in their ghostly wrath.

It called to her. The sweet siren song of the pit. Of the blood that flowed through someone else's veins. So far, she has yet to be disappointed when she arrives, either having already being there before someone else or someone else being there before her and it would seem that it was the latter this go around once again. Her amethyst jewels glistened and gleamed, a fire ready to erupt and burn the world around her as she climbed down the pathway to the center of the pit where a male - much younger than her - waited. Her claws scrapped against the rocky surface, sharpening as she climbed down and into the pit. A growl formed as she readied herself once more for battle. And then it started.

Aphrodite saw nothing but the blood that would coat the ground as she pushed herself forwards and towards the younger lion. It didn't even dawn on her of the resemblance he had towards the Oasis king. But would it matter? No, not as she came close enough to shift her direction at the last minute so that she may come at him from the side and use the bone part of her shoulder blade and attempt to dig it into his ribs with the force of her weight behind it. She would be brutal.

violence beckons for him. it's in his blood, in his manner of existence. quietly, arawn runs his talons down the rocks until he's satisfied with how sharp they are. then, he trains his gaze up ahead of him, just in time to catch an ebony lioness hurtling towards his way. bracing for impact, arawn feels their bodies suddenly connecting, and a low, rumbling snarl of wrath leaves his lips, as the woman's shoulder is shoved into him. the muscled there would bruise by the impact, and arawn would retaliate by attempting to snap forward wirh his salivating fangs, attempting to tear the meatier parts of her cheekbone.

She collided with him. Her shoulder instantly bloomed with bruising and rattled through her body but it didn't stop her as she would move through the motions. Feeling him turn towards her and his fangs coming for her cheek. Aphrodite would duck her head down but knew she hadn't been fast enough as his fangs dug into her flesh and took a nice moderate chunk, though it might not scar the blood was instant as she growled and lunged with her one of her front paws in an attempt to smack the living shit out of him. Claws are outstretched and looking for something to tear into. Her ears were flattened on her head as she thought of other ways to pay him back for the cut.

his attacks connect, and the taste of her blood would saturate his tongue.  this woman would retaliate by striking forward, leaving lacerations against his flesh as her talons rake down against his temple.  blood gathers upon his brow, and the pain would blossom there, an unrelenting ache that he wholly invites.  shifting his muscles, he would would rumble in vehement tones, his guttural voice, shadowed in sin and wrath.  arawn is swift to move, now, attempting to slam his head against her head as he bolts suddenly forward. this woman might be years older than him, but he would not shy away from any kind of violence.

Her claws make contact. Digging into the flesh and tear it apart as she drug her claws down his face and back to the ground. A growl erupted from both of their jaws as she inhaled his scent. The taste of iron in the air and on her tug. It drove her m a d. But she wasn't face enough and they butted heads, causing her to stagger backwards and shake her head. Aphrodite would have a major headache after this or even before, regardless he had a hard ass head. Her jaws curled upwards before she lunged again but this time she would attempt to wrap her jaws around his own jaw, and aim to dig her claws in the side of his neck or even his shoulder, whichever she could reach.

his head butt lands, a sadistic growl leaving his lips, thoroughly enjoying this adrenaline-fueled moment. the blood would dribble from his wounds, garish crimson painting their glistening rubelite hues against the ivory of his fur. he pays it no mind - not the way his red essence drips to the floor beneath them, not the way she seems to throw a violent hissy fit. then, he feels her teeth slamming against his jawline, scrapping the flesh there, as burning pain blooms against his skin. he attempts to counter this by swinging a forelimb upward, attempting to gouge her same wounded cheek with his slashing talons.

He smacked her again and this time, Aphrodite removed herself from the close presence. Amethyst jewels would lock onto @Arawn as she began to study him. Ears twisted on top of her head as she would keep her jewels on the youngster, taking him in as well as taking note that he shared familiar traits of the king. And yet that wasn't what she admired about him as she gave him a smirk. Such growing talent. I admire that in you. And she did, it wasn't every day that she was bested by a youngster. And she wasn't too proud to not admit to it. What is your name?
