Velasco X’uekai

A dark sense of satisfaction sweeps over the man when his younger opponent draws back blood seeping from his eye. A twisted smile forms on his lips and his throat vibrates in a mix of laughter and growling. Perfection in all its blood-red glory.

Lost to his own wicked sense of satisfaction of seeing his opponent bleed. Seeing his fury at the assumption he'd lost a precious eye. For even Velasco thinks he's claimed something irreplaceable from the other. The monster reacts a bit too slowly as the other attacks in fury striking for his chest. His claws find their way into pale white fur allowing red to seep into it. Staining plush white strands a beautiful shade of macabre pink. The sudden burn to his chest erupts a deeper dark growl from his chest. The fun was over, unless @Cassius ♔ felt like losing more than he already had.

"Fun's over chico" the monster growls, his tone deep and dark. Menacing, if this was going to continue there would be more than just cuts and bruises left behind. The monster's eyes narrow as he stands tall sacrificing some balance and readiness in favor of looking victorious and perhaps even imposing.

Blood pooled from his eye, it now shut tight. Cassius rumbled his growls of discontent yet the angry thick of his fur slowly began to settle. His body, though still massive, seemingly shrunk in size compared to before. Is it? The young man coos as his tongue slithers out to lick the mix of blood from his teeth and lips. His head then turns to spit red upon the ground. His purr melting into another challenging growl. We're both still breathing..

His one blue eye rolls then to settle onto @Icefang ♔. Dark lips pulling back into a wicked grin. Enjoy the show, Granny?

The fight is over, Icefang smirking as @Cassius ♔ growls out his usual arrogance. She rises from her seat to step forward towards the two bloodied males, her ivory form circling both to analyze their wounds. "Louve wouldn't be happy if we made that a reality, unfortunately." If it wasn't for their alliance and the fact that he was family, she would of urged @Velasco to maim him or take his life if he desired. The inconvenience of politics, ugh. "Velasco, meet one of your many cousins - @Cassius ♔" Her gaze glances between the two for any reactions as she turns her focus back to Cassius. "Yes, it is always nice to see a battle. Especially when you're on the winning side. What compelled you to cross my border? Thinking of joining your family?" She expected him to roll his shoulders and spat out that he crossed them because he could and that he was happier with the Dieudonne. While they were not close, their initial meeting had shown her he was cocky to a fault. It seemed most of the males in the bloodline had absorbed that irritating trait. It was one thing to be confident, but arrogance truly pissed Icefang off. She was almost tempted to throw herself at him just to give him another beating and reconsideration to this type of action in the future. She glances at @Temero and @Etain before flicking her tail at the two. "They will patch you up," she states knowing that Etain had worked on transferring the few herbs she could to the brook to try and grow their garden while Temero was use to helping his mother with her plants and so if the heiress needed a hand she knew he would proficient in aiding her.

The pines, they often whisper

They whisper what no tongue can tell

She'd watched quietly, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. There was something satisfying about seeing others fight, seeing claws and fangs rip through fur and skin, seeing crimson life essence dripping onto fertile soil. There'd been a time where it would have terrified her, even the smallest fight being enough to have the broken girl shaking. But that wasn't her anymore. Gone was the soft and gentle girl who'd only known how to heal. She was keeping up with her lessons about healing, that didn't change. But she'd grown more vicious, more eager to rip and tear as opposed to staying behind and only mending wounds.

But it all was over soon and she found herself sneering at the younger male. Sounds almost like he's asking for another beating," she purred towards @Icefang ♔ as she stepped forward, tail flicking idly behind her. "I'll take care of any wounds." She glanced at @Temero. "You can help if you like. As a little lesson on how to care for your own wounds should you ever need it."

He watched the fight with some astonishment at the perceived brutality between family members, not that he should have been particularly surprised. He remembered well the lesson Icefang had given him when he was a cub, and he also knew his own mother had a sharp tongue. When it concluded and Velasco was the winner, he couldn't help but feel a little pleased that he'd been the one to win. He knew Cassius well enough to know he'd have been insufferable if he'd won.

His lips were starting to pull back in a growl at said man's informal greeting to Icefang, but he promptly fixed his face when she looked at him. Uhh... he didn't know anything about healing. Mother had only taught him how to kill with herbs. Well, was trying to teach him, anyway. But he wasn't going to correct his grandmother, especially not in public. So he nodded in agreement with Etain's words. It wouldn't hurt to learn a little something on the other side of the herbalism spectrum.

Velasco X’uekai

At the boy's words, the monster's red lips draw into a wide toothy grin a laugh echoing from his throat. "That can be remedied" he rumbles almost purring as his head drops once again, chin dipping, as his tongue darts over his lips tasting their mixed blood. He doesn't spit it out rather he savors the taste as it rolls over his tongue.

However, as the boy addresses @Icefang ♔ Velasco's eyes widen slightly as his gaze turns to the high queen listening as she speaks. A frown falls onto his face as she deems their fight over. The annoying details of politics always spoiling his fun.

However, the introduction causes a laugh to bubble from his throat. "ahh family" his words carry no warmth rather it's almost mocking as the corners of his mouth pull into a grin. "Ven por primo de nuevo" Come by again cousin the monster purrs before his lips peal back and his claws flex into the soft soil under his paws. "Nothing like getting to know the family" the monster hums almost hoping @Cassius ♔ will return if only so Vel can take another piece.

At the mention of the other two bystanders the monster finally glances over acknowledging their presence with a lifted brow. The pink boy could be another cousin but the woman? Well at least she was being useful as a healer, wasn't she?

He gave the older male his own menacing grin, head lowering back down as if bracing for that next fight. Cassius made it clear that he had no qualms about spilling more blood. Family or no. And it seemed that he was indeed family.
Good.
Despite the two lions looking to end the other, he was glad that he was at least related to those that could hold their own against him. Not like the filth that once lived in the Lagoon years prior.

A thick pale brow raises as @Icefang ♔ instructs a tan girl to tend to him. And she in turn tells the pink boy to help. Cassius rumbles a growl before straightening up to his full height. Another day then perhaps. Blue eyes flicking back to @Velasco a moment as he speaks some sort of gibberish.
Sure. He throws out in the only agreement that Velasco will get before turning his full attention to @Etain and @Temero. Show me around too. He says, lumbering toward the two. I've always been curious what this place looked like.

Despite the tension, the males cease from any further battle as @Etain steps forward welcoming @Temero to help her. A brow quirks when @Cassius ♔ instructs the pair to show him the rest of the territory. "No," she replies calmly, the singular syllable spoken with an edge of warning. "You will have your tour when you come seeking my permission." One of her rules was that an ally had to have an escort at all times, but due to his audacity of exploring her borders he had already overstayed his welcome. In fact, he was lucky she was offering her medical supplies to patch him up. She was tempted to just send him home bleeding. Perhaps she should. "If that's an issue, head home." It didn't matter to her if the colossal male limped back now. Familial ties didn't matter when it came to respect for the high sovereign. It was only her interest in keeping a friendly relationship with Louve that had kept her from maiming the male herself. Ivory cranium pivots so that her blue depths land on @Velasco. "Mutilarlo si se porta mal, hijo*." The words are rough and foreign upon her tongue. Her years of living at Renozuri's side had granted her some spanish, but the serpent had spoken very little despite this. She was not as skilled as her deceased mate nor son, but she knew the male would understand her clearly. She decides to head back to her den, knowing that Etain and Velasco would have this handled. Worst thing, they had Temero to run and call for her if she was needed to drag the moon kissed vermin out.

The way the two males looked at them, at her, had her hackles raising, scarred visage twisting into something far less innocent looking. Family was one thing, but she was not going to let them make her feel like she didn't belong simply because she wasn't blood.

Her tail lashed behind her as she merely looked at @Velasco in silence as if she was contemplating what to say. Though any potential words never came out when the younger X'uekai spoke. No, dared to try and command them. His approach was met with a warning growl and bared fangs as the near colossal lioness sneered at him. His size didn't impress her all that much as, to her, there was very little difference between them, and she was no tiny little creature that would cower easily. Though her queen spoke, the pale girl still kept her gaze on @Cassius ♔. "You don't command me," she simply snarled before turning around and picking up a satchel that had been sitting behind her. "Now, sit still long enough for me to look at your injuries. You won't be going further today." Simply and calmly stated words, detached almost, as opposed to prior hostility. Briefly, she glanced at the older X'uekai again. "Would you mind if I see to him first? That way he'll be out of here much faster."
