Ever so watchful on the chilly shores of Stygian did her gaze wander the length of the ocean set out before her. The waves lapping against the land in calming motions, eliciting peace when all she could feel was the distant drum of Vellen's mark. Analia did not remember a whole lot from her experience with Vellen except for the fact that he had left her half blind. A memory that woke up with her every second day and never ceased to stop its rattling within her mind. Carelessly feeding on how miniscule she felt more often than she did strength but she had learned in the past few months that she certainly had a voice and it was one worth listening to. But did Vellen?

Running down the sandy shores the cherry blossom giggled lightly. Happy to be free to do whatever she wanted. Well as long as it didn’t endanger the pride of course. Though she had no intention to be disaster to the lagoon. Rather or not fate had other plans for her well that wasn’t something she could foresee. For the moment though she just enjoyed herself in her jog. As she moved @Analía come into her view and she smiled as she slowed down. "Hello miss." She called out in a chuff as she sniffed the air. The stranger smelt like the cove which neighbored the lagoon so coming to a stop she figured she might be friendly. "Nice day to enjoy the beach."

For the gentle lady, it never seemed to not surprise her when someone was forthcoming and sociable outside of family and pride. That no matter where she went in the neutral territories there was always someone willing to strike up a conversation that began with small talk. So when she is suddenly captured by @Fairytale in a hello and a question about the weather, she feels a sharp inhale of breath before trying to determine her next step. At least it isn't a male, the stranger had that going for them. And they smelled of the Lagoon where her older sister ruled so that was another point in their favor. It is, she offered finally upon the decision that this stranger wasn't terrible and at the very least they had something shareable that wouldn't make it a fruitless conversation, you smell of the Lagoon. Scilla, that is. Do you live there? Or did she perhaps just smell of it after having left it after visiting anything other than actually taking up residence.

Call her young an naive if wanted for trying to network by meeting random strangers out in the wilds of the neutral lands. It might be a dangerous habit to have but so far she hadn’t met anyone who had shown her otherwise. She might have met a few grumps here and there but no one had outright attacked her for saying hello.

Giving @Analía a smile she was happy when the darker lady replied to her. The woman gave a short answer but the weather didn’t really need an answer that was a speech. Looking at her for a moment before looking back out at the sea she curled her tail around her paws as she stayed there sitting. "Yes. I am Fairytale. Lioness of Scilla Lagoon." She replied politely with a nod turning to look at her. "And yourself? You smell like the sea or maybe that is just the sea itself." Giggling gently at her own semi joke. She might not really be that funny but she thought it had been a decent one.

The one thing that she had known since she was a young girl was that she had a rather large family. One that was usually spread quite wide but as the days pressed onward right now, that width was rather small. At least today she had the opportunity to address that at least it wasn't at its smallest. Good to meet you, Fairytale. An odd name to have, and if she were still that little girl she might have swooned at the idea that someone could be named something so fantastical. I asked because my Aunt Isla is your High Sovereign. A lioness that had more strength in one toe than most had in their whole body and she assumed that that was one of many reasons why the lioness in front of her had chosen the Lagoon. I live in Caladan Cove with my sister where my Great Uncle rules. Not so far from the beach scene herself but a different atmosphere, she imagined. As far as smelling of the sea, well, that was a no-brainer and a scent that she might have tried to escape every now and then but to no avail. Fish, sand and salt it would be. @Fairytale

The cherry blossom wasn’t aware of just how big some of the families here in Amaryllis are as she herself had no family here. Perhaps one day she’d find someone to settle down with and become part of a family but for now she was good with her pride being her family. Even if it was just though loyalty and growing trust in them.

Hearing that her queen was the aunt of @Analía, Fairytale smiled. Her ears perked a bit at the talk of a great uncle rules and that the dark lioness before her has sisters. "That is amazing you sound like you have a big family. I had no idea. I honestly joined the lagoon for a less logical reason then someone powerful ruling it." She confessed as she gave a small giggle. "It was pretty and had a nice view. But I am grateful to have met your aunt. She is a wonderful woman." Nodding her head like she was agreeing with her own words she added a question shortly after. "I have no family. What is it like having a big one?"

Mentioning Isla had given them something further to talk about which the medic was quite happy for. The last thing she was good at was making small talk because it ultimately just made her want to run away, usually. Now, though, she was able to talk about something that she could actually respond to and communicate with instead of feeling as though there was too much pressure for the right answer. You nailed the perfect locale, she smiled in the hopes that it was conveyed as genuine because she meant it. The Lagoon was the perfect place to watch nice sunsets and relax by the beach, just as the Cove was that for her. It just so happened that the Cove was ruled by family before Isla had ever taken the crown otherwise she might've ended up there.

As for what it was like... sheesh. It's wonderful to always have someone to turn to. Family that has your back, though sometimes it wasn't always. Not that Analia was about to tell @Fairytale that because no one wanted to hear it. Sometimes no one was going to hear you and sometimes, things prevented them from being there. Nothing was guaranteed and while Analia had a sometimes pessimistic view of things, she was also logical. It can also be overwhelming, sometimes. More family to worry about in tough situations. Like wars and raids, pride challenges and even death matches but seeing as her company seemed to be new to Amaryllis she felt it best to ease into the dangers of this land than to outright word vomit it.
