Perhaps he had over reacted when @Reti ♔ took the mantle. Perhaps that would be his downfall but regardless, Zsolt went through the halls to find the new guardian of the Hollows until his father, or another Savante could sit on the throne again. Regardless of the pride he felt for being a Savante, it wouldn't help him here and he knew that an apology was required in order to let Reti know that he was here to help. Even if he wasn't granted Heir, he would still help. And it wasn't guilt that caused the Savante Hound to travel the undergrounds halls, it was sheer will.

While there had been ... tense ... moments at the meeting Reti was well aware it could have gone worse. Now that the meeting itself was over his attention shifted to pride stability, security and keeping the cache and resources stocks.

Reti needed to hold the line until certain souls were back on all four paws and ready to resume the prior status quo. Glancing over the kills presently in the Cache Reti became aware of an approach and shifted to face the arriving lion.

Ahhh. @Zsolt. He tilted his crown slightly to one side in greeting and slowly lowered his haunches to the ground, multi hued gaze rested on the lion.

"Greetings. What can I help you with?" hopefully this would be a ... less tense situation than the last one. Although Reti -very- much wished to keep things within the pride pleasant and cohesive, understanding there was great strength in unity - he was also far too proud and experienced a soul to be cowed or intimidated.

Reti was willing to be flexible for pride unity - but would not bend needlessly to the wills of others above his own or take disrespect lightly. So he very much hoped to come to a positive understanding - or at least a cooperative neutral with the other lion for the sake of the Hollows.

In truth, Zsolt wasn't entirely sure what he was going to say to @Reti ♔ when he found him but it seemed he was going to have to figure it out. Like now. Ears twisted on top of his head as he found the king and Zsolt would let out a sigh as he would come to face the dual-toned male before him. I want to apologize for my over reacting at the meeting. He would begin, kicking himself in the ass for acting so rashly towards Reti. I let my temper and the tension get the better of myself and would like for us to be on better terms. At least he was admitting he was wrong.

Muscles shifted slightly beneath Reti's black and bronze swirled coat as the large male adjusted his sitting position slightly, a slight exhale slipping silently through very slightly parted jaws as he listened to those first words from @Zsolt.

It was a very good start. An apology. This was encouraging as it suggested enough maturity to force oneself to not be too prideful to apologize - to smooth things over if not sincere. Reti was unsure if this was an genuine apology or not, but the fact the lion was willing to step forward regardless was promising.

"I am certainly willing to work towards that. I have no desire for tense relations with any pride member. Your apology is appreciated, I understand it is no easy thing to hear family is wounded, let alone sudden changes on the paws of such news." Reti was far from unreasonable. If one was not an asshole to him (or an ass towards cubs) - he tended to show a healthy amount of flexibility.
