he's the blood-splattered knife upon the altar; the depraved veil, staining blood-tainted waters. he's the dragon - blazing towards the spiritual flesh. pulling, tearing, burning, consuming. the ocean, looms before him. it's vast and endless. it's the unyielding waves, that thrashes, hungrily; enveloping against the shore. each wave of blood-tinged red, whispers with songs of sacrifice.

as harou stands upon the shore, looking out into the moonless beach, he can feel his volatile spirit, rising as one with their malevolent waves. there is violence thrashing deep within him, too; it festers and howls, outward - snarling with a fervent yearning.

there is rage. passion, heat, desire.

and yet, here he stands alone. always alone.

silence. stillness. such humble beauty. he finds peace and clarity within the soft white sands, that churn beneath his feet like a million pearls. he finds peace, in his own company and solitude. even as the whispers of winter breathes down his muscled neck - in the here and now - he feels nothing but the soft tranquility. it settles along his broad shoulders like a tenebrous cloak, a forbidden prayer. harou closes his eyes, taking in the whispers of the ocean. he inhales the deep, salted waters. it oozes with a love for the condenmned, for the forsaken.

and he is all things, cold and vehement.

It had been a few months since he returned to the Stygian Shore. Truthfully, he had wished to stay away because each time he approached and smelled the salty sea, he was reminded of his time here with Orchid... the last time.

Sometimes duty called, and what he felt about it didn't matter - at least in the eyes of his family. And despite no longer feeling as though he could stand a woman's embrace, he had to swallow his disgust and do the deed anyway. And thinking about it just felt like a thousand fire ants prickling along his skin, weaving through his cotton-candy-colored fur, looking for a sweet spot to bite.

Poltergeist was lost in thought as he wandered, keeping his eyes trained to the waves instead of the rocks that lined the other edge of the shoreline, hoping to avoid seeing the two rocks they had used as cover during their time... together.

But something... something made him look ahead, and as he did, he was startled momentarily to find there was another here - silent as night, with dark points almost as black as the sands they stood upon. And the longer Poltergeist looked at him, the more he realized he had seen this lion before. Briefly, perhaps, because he couldn't recall a conversation or any interaction between them.

Eventually, he wandered a bit too close to this stranger and just stopped... at first without saying anything. Dual-colored eyes just looked at the stranger - a handsome and dark stranger, but different in the way that he thought of Aeistrios when he had seen him for the first time and called him tall, dark, and handsome. This beast appeared as if he had once crawled out of Hell itself, but his time here on earth had softened his demonic features some.

He was the stark opposite of how Poltergeist looked, and the Noire man was enamoured.

"Well, hello," he said, trying to hide the way his voice trembled just slightly. Truthfully, he wasn't yet ready to speak, but he didn't want to be weird and just stare at him, either.

harou is often alone, embracing his solitude. he found that the noise of society often disturbed him, and he did not wish for neither his ferocious independence, nor his private space, to be intruded upon. those who tried to get in his way would be met by either harsh, unforgiving silence, or immediate violence. usually, the later. perhaps, that is why the army's wolf is here, his smouldering, vermillion eyes cast towards the turbulent seas; studying the waves and how they undulated, violently, across the dark, oceanic surface. a predatory rumble leaves his throat, his gaze narrowing into sharpened slits as a curling smile touches his mouth. the ocean's fragrance would wash like a lover's caress against his muscular form; his muscled frame rippling slightly beneath the tempered hush of the manic seabreeze, that tugged and pulled at his silken mane, with an almost fervent need.

apart of him wants to be within those tumultous waves, to find salvation - to find the end - beneath their despairing depths. perhaps, within its watery abyss made of liquid crystals and drowning shadows, his tormeted soul would finally be freed of its demonic, unholy vessel. in his fragmented god memories, he only remembers death. pain. violence. it made harou a hollow man, a depraved man, hanging by the broken edges of his wavering sanity, as the tribulations of life and death tore at him with all the hunger of a rabid wolf. but harou would always be ressurected time and time again, unable to die, unable to find peace within the depths of the earth nor sea. he felt deathless, in all his forms, a revenant made in the wintry flesh, cast out like ailing shadows to a hungry universe. the physical body might have died, time and time again, but his malevolent spirit was eternal. he was cursed to haunt this earth, to wander in his hollow existence, like a voiceless - faceless phantom.

here - now - by the dark oceans with no moonlight to show for, harou could sense another creature stirring within the enveloping darkness. perhaps, it is the bodily fragrance of a wandering rogue that swiftly catches his attention, that makes the icy titan turn away from the churning oceans, and train his gaze directly upon the approaching form of @Poltergeist. the other seems to be staring directly at him, and harou allows another predatory rumble to leave his lips. the army's wolf can barely discern the shadowy frame of lean, elegant muscularity; the soft curling waves of cherry and indigo silk, that were the stranger's mane, perhaps, stirring in the breeze just like his own disheveled fur. here, the oceans continue to purr, to surge, to twist in all her chilling violence. harou lets another dark smile touch his lips, this time for this luring stranger who says a trembling 'well, hello'. the thin curving of harou's sensual mouth were now touched by starlight.

harou's glowing red eyes beams softly in the shadowed-pitch of night, running down the stranger's form with a gunmental sharpness. at first, harou didn't know what to say. and then, after a moment of silence, his voice comes out, strangely warm despite the iciness of his stare:

"the ocean is beautiful this evening. don't you agree?"
