blood, of ancient sorcery, weaves their violent magic against the black earth.  sirenic whispers, the after-thought of autumnal rain, all linger against that ebbing lifeforce.  blood; pools of blood - all coats the breathing earth.  it soaks it up - the hungry earth - drinking the vermillion filthiness, as the black soil toils rich in its sanguine addictions. 

dregs of moonlight, peel against his wraith-like flesh, thus. lending haunting beauty to angular, male features. he is here, again - an eidolon, a thirsty behemoth; to sate his bloodlust against the living. the condemned. to fill his mouth with their blood and feast upon their withered spirits. without sound, houndish steps bring the feral warrior into the centerfold. a coliseum, for a hunter's promise, a vampire's needs. with a guttural snarl, harou's rage, unfurls. it's sharp, his hunger. an elegant manifestation of ruin.

When the world tries to break and bend her, Sersie throws herself into the pit. A month to flame, an addict.of adrenaline and pain..It's the fleeting moments in battle that bring the woman true, unbridled joy. She has nothing, and that is what makes her a formidable foe.

The limestone brings back comforting memories, blood spilled in the name of violence. It's tangy iron smell mixed with sweat, tears, and shattered earth. The belly of the beast drags softly, quietly, encroaching upon her supposed unsuspecting prey-- sore, tender jaw ignored. As was the healing would upon her head. Sersie holds her breath, for fear a cough would give her away. Damn the infection, damn the wounds.

She wants to feel alive again.

Green finds black, white and red. Prey on the form of a stranger. Bigger, stronger, someone worthy. The ground devours her body as she flies into action, hind legs propelling her in a leap at the hulking beast before her. With luck, perhaps her attack takes the creature by surprise--forcing her stiffened jaw to try and snag some of his flesh at the hind end, as her singular forepaw tries to drag along his left hip.

Sersie never feared death, but oh how she missed it's company each time it left her. Aside from the fox, the entity was probably her only friend.

The witchling had never been to the pits. She'd never seen the stony hollow with a lingering scent of blood and fate in the air and ground. It drew her in. It had the girl marveling at the rocks wondering what color they would glow if painted with fresh new blood. Oh and how her fur prickled at the roar that echoed from the depths of the pit. A monster coming to life, a promise of blood and fate splayed for all to see.

Meisia dropped low. Her chartreux frame pressed against the stony ground as she moved forward. Abdul had taught her some of his tricks, his skills for how to hide and move unseen. She was not a master but she was learning and practice would make perfect.

So the witchling moved to peer at the monster in the depths of the pit. Her mismatched orbs landed on the large creature that loomed. Her gaze drifted to see another charging at the larger lion, the lioness's sandy three-legged frame familiar. The former Scilla queen lived, @Sersie lived, and the sea had not claimed her. The sea had not been painted with her blood that night when the Lagoon was washed clean. Fate had other plans, fate had a plan. And perhaps the witchling was now even more interested in the fight. To see how this three-legged lioness would fight. How she could think herself able to rule, a queen. She was but half a lion.

The witchling waited a smile creeping onto inky lips as her tongue darted over them. "Let blood paint the rocks, let blood spill and run, let their fate be painted in red." she'd whisper quietly, mismatched gaze never leaving the carnage about to unfold. Her prayer is quiet and holding no favor for either. Blood would flow, and blood would decide who won. She just had to wait, wait and see.

in the barely-there moonlight, the wintry leviathan paces; restless, eager, passionate - hungering to drink from the fleshly chalice of mortal vessels. and darkness has many forms, many faces, many shapes. his mortal cup, tonight, comes in the curvaceous figure of @Sersie, whose golden bodice he only catches glimpses off, as ears violently serve backwards to pinpoint the sudden, lunging commotion. darkness envelopes the arena, envelopes the charging form of the smaller lioness, as harou hears her - then first feels, the opposition's fangs and claws draw against his hind-flesh.

blooded rivulets rise to the surface of icy, male flesh; just as he turns around to face her - a shudder of heat and adrenaline to rush down his muscular back. opening his jaws wide, harou retaliates, swiftly; seeking to cleave apart the female's face, as he turns around. attempting to bite her cheek, with his wide jaws, agape, salivating. his left paw comes up, too, talons splaying with murderous intention; attempting to grasp at her shoulder-flesh. attempting to drag her into him, if he can manage it.

the fight ends as soon as it begins. it would be anticlimactic, not exciting. harou removes himself from the golden banshee and paces a few steps ahead. there is no emotion on his face, no sense of victory touching his features, despite having won. he would make his way towards the exit of the coliseum, licking his blood-stained lips. an eerie sense of yearning washes over him, silent in his ghostly wrath. he feels the needle-pricks of wanderlust touching his muscles, sinking their relentless hunger into his mind. he would have to sate his bloodlust elsewhere, but there is a part of him that wishes to encounter @Sersie again in the future.
