There was so much madness that surrounded him in that moment that he could hardly keep up. Every time he thought he was onto some neat trick, the prey simply moved back around. Tricky thing, they were huh? Without a lot of his help in their latest fight, he gave a great exhale of air as he slumped onto the ground. I need a nap! he cried, huffing and letting his body slump to the side. The scent of blood was thick in the air and he hadn't even gotten a glimpse of one of his hunting partners leaving early nor that it was lions blood that was mingled in. Just as he had proposed to the world around him, Cosmin let his weary self fall prey to the silence of his mind and the hungry sounds of pride mates having their fill. exit cosmin

Juliette had looked around the gathered grouping as they took their bites and quickly realized that their lead was gone. Head swiveled to try and locate Reti, not sure where he might have gone before suddenly seeing his retreating form pass through the tunnels of the Hollow. Only then did her gaze drop to the ground from there and see the trail of crimson. Anyone seen Camellia or Mircea? she asked, looking to those gathered before taking a deep inhale and an exhale to follow. None of those that were present were healers and likely wouldn't be of much help to him but perhaps she could try and locate them so that Reti could get patched up wherever he was leaking from. fade juliette

He offered @Juliette a smile as she approached, though it disappeared as he looked towards Reti. Would that I had been here sooner, he commented. Perhaps then the other man wouldn't have been injured. He had no idea if that were true, but he felt guilty nonetheless, even if injuries were fairly common in hunting and if Reti could still move about it couldn't be too bad.

Unfortunately, he didn't have the healing skills necessary to assist further, nor did he know where either of their healers were. So he shook his head in response and turned his attenion towards something he could manage, which was getting their catches back to the caches where they belonged. It wasn't like he couldn't manage that himself given his size.

In the midst of the takedown, Thella was only able to briefly catch the sight of Reti as he was thrown from the buffalo, though the beast's continued rampage kept most of her attention until they were able to finally bring it to the ground. She hadn't realized he was missing until she heard Juliette calling out. Likewise, she didn't notice the trail of blood until moments after Juliette's departure. He must be pretty banged up this time. Knew he shouldn't have joined us the second time around.

She placed a paw on the thick hind leg of the buffalo and began tearing into it to rip it from the mangled body. Once free, she took off with it back to the tunnels, following Reti's trail. He'd put all the work in and gotten himself injured; he at least deserved something of it to eat if he wanted any kind of strength to help the healing process.
