"I've lost my head." She mumbled again. It seemed to be the only understandable thought she could muster. She did cling to the idea, to the literal concept that was far easier to understand then 'ive lost everything that makes me me.'

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

The woman could feel her focus floating in and out, the flowers around her shifting between defined petals and colourful blobs. Was there something wrong with her head? It was a near impossible task to link the blood loss, her confusion and her strange undercurrent of panic together. The difficulty of coherent thoughts and memories only seemed to increase the harder she tried. The flow of her blood had slowed to a crawl, crimson clotting beneath the carefully made bandage.
"I've lost my head." She mumbled again. It seemed to be the only understandable thought she could muster. She did cling to the idea, to the literal concept that was far easier to understand then 'ive lost everything that makes me me.'

Kireena smiled softly at @Sylva as she worked, carefully making motions to try to keep the lioness's wounds staunched. "Losing your head is sort of expected in this situation, my friend." She didn't want to scare the lioness and tell her that it was likely because of significant bloodloss. As she worked, she let her gaze land on the hastily put together poultice, noting that the lioness's own blood was helping to keep it in place. "My home isn't far from here.. and my mate is also an accomplished healer.. once we get you stabilized enough to make the trip I'd like to take you there." For further treatment as well as a space to rest and recover. Kireena hoped the other woman would know her name as she recovered. It would also help set the way the Druids of the Basin would handle the lions and lionesses that lived within the lands of Amaryllis. |

The woman's blank expression didn't echo @Kireena's smile. The swirl of her muddled thoughts swamped her. She couldn't really comprehend any of the thoughts beyond an intense nauseating feeling of why. And she wasn't even really sure why she kept pleading why to the blankness of her own mind.
She laid in silence, until her healer declared they could leave. Her standing was jerky and she swayed in a whirl of dizziness. It was ateam effort, really, for the pale lioness had to lean on the larger femme. Behind the pain and confusion there was a strong feeling that she wanted to stay in her little hole with her flowers. Back into the void to search for the singing again. But she followed, silent and weighed down.

Kireena smiled at @Sylva, keeping pace with her as they went towards the Basin. The red giant would hope that Sybil would be ablet o help her see to the others care. She really did hope that she could help. It worried her - the damage done and the fact that she had been buried. Who had buried her? Who had added the flowers? A frown touched her lips as they walked, keeping an eye on the other female, hoping to see her to their home, get her settled.. and then make sure that they could perhaps find her would-be killer or would-be caretaker. //Exit/ |
