@Sedona's threats were not enough to keep her home. Although Lucìa had grown up in the Summit the Oasis was her birth right. Like hell was this girl going to miss her father retaking what was rightfully theirs. So she bided her time, waiting for her mother to get plenty ahead of her before she left the mountains. The trek wasn't all that bad and by the time she arrived she was able to spy Tìa @Léonie holding a cub down by her tails. Her muzzle wrinkles in distaste before she saunters over to where her Tìa has the cub subdued. "I'm gonna beat your ass for being a bad kitty!" The fellow cub declares before promptly vomiting in front of her aunt. Léonie would be lucky if it didn't splatter all over her paws. Lucìa was tired of @Langley's antics though and it was time she got a taste of her own medicine. "Or how about you eat your own vomit you disgusting piece of filth." Lucìa hisses before she moves behind the girl. Lucìa would attempt to reach outward to grab the cub by her scruff in an effort to shove her face down into the sand. Lucìa never played nice, she never played fair, and she wouldn't waste any time in letting this girl know how much of a bitch she could be. Oh how she'd longed for an opportunity such as this.

Had the hairball been anyone else’s — Léonie could only assume she belonged to Aeistrios — she might’ve liked her spunk. Heck, she did — only enough to snort when she cursed her and stretched around to vomit across her paw. “You wanna try peeing on me next?” she prodded without flinching. She’d raised four sons — the kid was going to have to do better if she wanted to make her shy away from bodily fluids.

Twisting her paw, she sought to wipe the vomit back across @Langley — and to release her. However, @Lucía came to her rescue, and Léonie stepped back to give her niece space to pummel the runt. She was pretty sure that Lucía and her brothers — and her own children, too — had been threatened with death if they followed. It tickled her, but there was the concern too that once the Oasis army came pouring from their little termite mounds, she’d be overwhelmed. The Oasis was crawling with children who’d happily try chewing an ear or limb off of her.

As none had arrived yet, Léonie took another step back to hover near the squabble, but not interfere.

Alright was she close to her siblings? Nope. Not at all in fact she wasn't close to any of the Saxe lions but did that mean she was going to let Langley get bullied like she was. Was it disgusting that her sister just vomited all over that lady's paws, oh yea it was. But was it right for the next cub - who wasn't much older than she - to push little ol' @Langley down into it and make her eat it. A grumble formed from her lips as Heisa moved at a speed she hadn't realized she had and charged at @Lucía.

Pushing herself forwards, Heisa would attempt to barrel herself into Lucia's form and knock her off of her sister with enough force from her own body. Even attempting to dig her sharp fangs into the girls shoulder (whichever you want Irish!) and hold on if she was successful.

She would have been perfectly content to keep Langley pinned where she was but there was a slight shuffling in the sand to her left and before Lucìa could fully turn her attention she was being slammed into. The young girl is easily caught off balance, careening to her right as @Heisa's needle-like teeth clamped down into her left shoulder. Lucìa let's out a snarl, "It's gonna take more then that puta" She hisses before she attempts to lash outward, teeth aimed at Heisa's muzzle that currently had a good grip on her shoulder. Lucìa grew up in a gang full of boys, if this girl thought she would shy away from a tussle she was sorely mistaken. Her hind legs were stabilized behind her to help keep her balance all the while. Game on.

He justified it to himself like this: Mami had said not to follow her, but Apollo would insist it was Scorpius he was following after. Plus, it was not the first time Sedona had threatened death upon the Casales cubs, and it would certainly not be the last. He lingered behind just long enough to witness Lucía's departing rear, snickering softly to himself at her audacity while doing nothing to question his own. They would witness whatever happened that day. Let it end in their father's glory.

Apollo ignored the way his paws stung as he approached the desert sands, rubbed raw by scaling the entirety of the mountainside in pursuit of his runaway kin. He panted softly and stopped short once the stench of a scent border hung thickly in the air, assessing the sparse crowd for any familiar faces. There stood Sedona's petite figure up ahead; he would angle himself subtly away from her, hoping his mother was less likely to recognize his backside than any other part of him. This was when he caught sight of Lucía locked in a spat with a fuzzy blur of purple. The elder brother gave a little laugh and settled into a seat to watch the show, making an effort at quelling the protective, foreign instincts simmering in his chest. Lucía had often deserved what hits the brothers and cousins gave out, and he had little reason to believe she did not deserve whatever was being dished out to her.

He would just linger nearby for unrelated reasons – reasons aside from his status as big brother. Apollo had never wielded the title with much care.

Ah, well, this was.. exciting. She may not be the best fighter of her family. She hardly trained but damn it, Heisa wasn't going to stand there and let someone bully her sister. Regardless of how close they were or weren't. And with that, when connection hit - a grunt coming from Heisa - and teeth sank into flesh and for the first time she got the taste of blood. Of that delicious iron that everyone fought so hard to get, Heisa knew where she stood in her life. Lucia's words hit her pinned ears and Heisa growled around the bundle of fur she had in her mouth. Lavender jewels narrowed and Heisa would let go of Lucia's shoulder in an attempt to move back and smack the shit out of Lucia's oncoming jaws so she didn't get her nose bitten the fuck off, did she still feel teeth on her nose? Yes, as the went along the front of the bridge of her nose and a few lacerations showed dark on her fur. She was ready for what this bitch had to offer. Would Papa be proud of her?

Unlike a certain gaggle of children Amandil had intended to stay behind to keep a amethyst eye on the troublemakers. Except - they started to sneak off and the silver Casales heaved a sigh, rising to his feet and trailing after them. Once he arrived, he noticed @Jafar and rumbled a greeting to his father before he would attempt to come up behind @Apollo with a rumbling growl. @Lucía was fighting another child under the watchful, if chaotic eye of @Léonie.

"I know you're not deaf..." His words were rough - sounding angry even though mostly Amandil was amused. Glad he hadn't any of his own - it made chasing the wayward children down all that easier. "But, if you're going to be here - what do you intend to do?" Not like he had any room to talk.. The silver lion had vanished from his family - leaving them alone..

Failing to protect them when shit hit the proverbial fan. He also still had no idea what it was he was going to do with his life - so what right did he have to lecture the younger lion? Annoying uncle rights, that's what.

The last time that Taraji had been on these very sands witnessing a challenge, it was
ironically against the male who now stood as the challenger. She had watched the female best him, and take the land. Now she wondered if that same female held power, if she were the ruler here. Taraji wouldn't know that she wasn't, that another ruled- she hadn't been in this part of the world. She moves through the crowd when she spies @Kireena ♞, and moves to stand near the huge woman with a soft spoken question- her blue eyes scanning the crowd. "Who leads this place?" She asks, curious about that, and also- the unspoken question of... who's side are we on.
