Hunting. But not just any kind of hunting, beetle hunting.

Oztrios' attention had been caught by a shimmer from the sun's rays, something skittering across the ever moving sands. The cub's overwhelming sense of curiosity caused him to follow that shimmering thing, acting as if he knew how to stalk but instead looking like an idiot with his butt wiggling in the air. It were an african jewel beetle that he was trailing, its shell seeming to shine purple and then green and then back again. The boy would let out a low growl before he readied himself to pounce, rocking back and forth on his hind legs before lunging forward.

With sand sputtering and Oztrios yowling, he was so sure he had caught the beetle. But as he opened cupped paws, he saw them empty. "Hmm..." the boy ponders, two toned eyes now searching to see where the beetle went off to.

langley giggles, but it's not the girlish giggle that her mom does whenever she's thinking about dad. it's that overexaggerated faux giggle that's meant to make fun of girls who giggle like that. for now, langley doesn't know she's doing that, only that it's her actual giggle because she's stalking her brother from behind. she's ready to tackle him onto the ground and nibble on his ear. langley's teeth are itchy and they want something to nom on. rocks are gross and sand is gross; mom is right, her booty doesn't like the texture of sand at all.

her butt wiggles, copying @Oztrios. except, she's not trying to get a beetle. she's trying to get a brother. so she pounces and attempts to dig her sharp claws into ozzy's rump. her dark eyes are flashing with mischief as her twin tails smack against the ground._{BG — ART — CODE}

Aeistrios was far from well, and if anything, he was closer to the grave than standing on all four of his paws. However, he had new life in the lands and despite all the darkness that coated across his mind, he did want to know these children.

Harness their loyalty to him, over any mother.

Because what was the point of a mother when they only abandoned their kids? Reah had done it, Renfri too - and who was to say it wouldn't continue on with anymore of his wives?

Aeistrios blinks, and he finds himself sprawled out among the sand, resting his frame against a large red rock as he peers onwards to @Oztrios and @Langley playing. His face is neutral, but there is a bittersweet feeling that settles in his chest.

They were so young, so innocent; and it would have to be Aeistrios to break that from their lives.

By the time he hears his sister it is too late. Sharp pricks are felt on his hind end, causing for Oztrios to let out a yowl and a hiss before his body whipped around. Lips pull back to showcase sharp milk teeth, a light snap of his jaws given to the air. "Hey! Not nice!" The boy huffs, eyes narrowing on @Langley. His mind is trying to decide which would be better: continue to chase the bug and have his sister help him, or use his sibling as he new toy. Rear end wiggles as his decision was made, the cub now flinging himself back at Langley in an attempt to wrestle her onto the ground. Oztrios was blissfully that their father was watching, but wouldn't he be proud to see his offspring so lively?

bad brudder! langley teased and her hackles raised and ears flattened. she was just as big as him, in her mind, so she can definitely flatten him like a worm! unlike ozzy, langley was very much unaware that @aesitrios was present. if she had been, then she would be sitting cutely and acting like daddy's little princess, prim and proper, just like how mama taught her. since she didn't know dad was here, then she could fling her poo at ozzy and not bat an eyes. when ozzy lunged at her, langley felt his fatass hit her head-on. well, two could play at that game. langley stood her ground and attempted to push her claws into her brother's cheeks and neck. take that, you grape! @Oztrios_{BG — ART — CODE}

A triumphant yowl was given as he plowed over his sister, but it was short lived. He felt tiny claws pricking at his cheeks, causing for a hiss to be released. "Hey!" Oztrious shouts, trying to pull his head away from her paws so that @Langley couldn't touch his cheeks anymore. In an effort to continue to attempt to hold her down, he uses his forelegs and buckles them, paws pressed onto his sister. He wasn't sure if this action would do any good, but it sounded - and looked - good in his mind. Tail lashes behind him wildly as jaws snap at air, a playful growl coming from the depths of his cheat, ears cupping forward as he listened.
