The battles were winding down, blood had been shed and egos bruised, a command from the dark maned male (Bruno) was sent to those who had gathered. To take those who would oppose them by force. Nope, she had seen enough and did not need to be caught up in whatever this was. Shifting silently the strawberry lioness moved away from the group, using the cover of the bushes to keep her blended and hidden. Still, despite seeing so much chaotic violence on her first day, she was excited to be here. This was where she would make her mark one day, Elyse was sure of it!

Claws tore at the flesh along the side of his ribs leaving lacerations in their wake, he was breathing heavily and had yet to quip any snarky remarks this time. Until he began to speak, and golden gaze locked upon @Aurochs with a flicker of annoyance flashing across them. “No” he said it firmly, solidly. Whatever he was hoping to gamble, Livyatan refused it. He had bled far more than this lion for her, and she would remain here as a consolation prize. A glance was set towards Violarum fighting a group before he looked to Aurochs again. “Should have bled more” he said gruffly, moving to attempt to grab @Fenna by the scruff and drag her away towards @Bruno ♔. Bruno could decide what he wanted to do with her, but Livyatan would not release her into this mans care.

Quitting is not an option

Blood, fur, and spit seep from her jaws as she is brought to her knees with their victory. A low rumbling snarl vibrates in her throat as mismatched eyes look up at them waiting for their judgment. What would they do to her? She'd lost, she was a prisoner of war.

Or not?

The colossal speaks first, offering to bring her to a place he calls the plains. Fenna doesn't know it, but not being a prisoner sounds better than staying here as one. Unfortunately, the dark mire lion has other plans as his words echo.

Adrenaline still rushing in her blood Fenna is almost tempted to retaliate. Claw at him, but she's not an idiot... at least not that much of an idiot. She's already injured, and the adrenaline won't last forever. She can already feel it, the blood seeping from open wounds the pain of skin pulling at torn flesh and claws aching from battle. It's thrilling, it's fun and it fucking hurts...

The dark lion's last words have her ears flick, a motion causing pain to radiate from the torn one. @Livyatan wasn't wrong, in all the logical thinking she held, he had won this fight, not the colossal man who'd started it. It was the dark man who'd bled for this victory, who'd suffered her claws and fangs just as much as she had his. He'd won, he'd been the stronger fighter. But when his teeth find her scruff she growls not so much in challenge as in pain. The pulling to her already injured skin hurts.

Trying to ease the pain she stands, awkwardly following him. Even if Livyatan was larger than her, she wasn't that much smaller. His grasp had her bending downwards in an awkward manner that made her already bruised shoulders and neck hurt even more. "I lost. Victory is yours, so let me walk on my own" she spoke making an effort to dig her paws into the earth and drag slightly away from him. "I won't run, won't be much fun in that" and wasn't like she could, not with this many lions around them. Besides, where would the glory and great battle tale in that be? She'd heal eventually and she would face this dark lion again and next time she would hold the victory.

"I'll be coming for a rematch though" she speaks eyes already shining with that Yu excitement for the promise of a thrilling fight in the future. Injuries and anger be damned, he had been a great opponent and Fenna could feel the excitement at the idea of fighting him again.

There is clear intent in the way that the young boy moves, in the way that his eyes focus on the figure of the white boy who was, ultimately, guilty by association. Adalrik was not here for a good time, but he sure as hell was here for a long time.

With outstretched claws and a new-found sense of determination, Adalrik finds that his claws make contact with Emory and sink, almost too easily, into his back. Blood pools around his claws as they pierce his flesh, a slight popping sensation sending adrenaline coursing through his body. The squeal of the boy exclaiming that his sister should run almost made the peach Prince snort.

Adalrik feels the muscles in Emory's back tense up and the boy attempts to tighten his grip, attempting to grasp harder onto his back. The boy shakes to his left, and then to his right, throwing them both to the ground in a desperate attempt to shake Adalrik off, but to no avail. The wind is pushed out of his lungs as their bodies collide with the bloodied earth, and for a moment the peach Prince struggles to catch his breath. With a new-found urge to fight, the boy attempts to push himself forward, attempting to use his claws in Emory's back almost as a step, in a bid to move himself closer to Emory's head. Adalrik, with parted jaws, attempts to clamp them shut and gain purchase around Emory's nape.

With a playful, triumphant little growl, the little plum Saxe child clamped her sharp baby teeth around the older girl’s tail, her lips peeled back in a feral grin. Yes! She’d done what she’d meant to do from the start! She couldn’t wait to share her victory with her brothers, certain they would be equally as proud of her and eager to share their own accomplishments when all was said and done.

But she failed to factor in one crucial detail: the opposing party would still fight back. Ani drew back a step, two, not really capable of going far with the tail acting as a sort of tether to keep her beside the other girl’s backend and in perfect position for the sharp kick aimed in her direction. Her grip on Arsinoë’s tail loosened immediately as she was sent tumbling back with a startled cry, a deep ache blossoming across her shoulder where the connection had been made.

She hadn’t expected fights to hurt this much.

The bravado and bluster in her faded rather quickly, and as she scrambled to her feet it was with a look of hurt feelings. She favored the leg with the hurt shoulder awkwardly—holding the limb up and putting pressure on it hurt either way, no chance of winning there—and she hesitated from going any closer to the clone-like aggressors. One strong hit was enough; she could take a hint.

One quick look was sent toward the place she’d last seen Ianthe, disappointment mostly, but it morphed into agitation as she looked to her brothers. She gave only a little call—c’mon, let’s go!—before she turned and scuttled away toward home, pausing only once to see if they were coming though she didn’t stop to wait.

Fuck off, Siofera snapped at @Odette, her teeth clacking together in warning. She wasn't in the mood for anyone to mouth off at her at the moment.

She watched as the other battle finished, Leiah stuck within the Mire along with her, and a hiss of irritation left her. Not good. Not good at all. At least she would be able to keep an eye on her younger sibling, but they needed to lose less of them to the other prides.

Get out of here, go! Fast! she urged @Refieron, practically pushing him if she could, though they were much the same size at this point, snarling fiercely at any who even dared to look their way. She would get her younger brother out if nothing else. Father was in another fight, unable to help right now, so it was down to her.

@Aneistri needed to run too. @Reistrios and @Iritrios as well. GodDAMMIT she had too many siblings. All younger than her, of course. Aneistri was already heading out, so Siofera would do her best to corral her brothers away before anyone could come for them as well. Go go go! Get back to the Oasis! she urged them. She hated that she was being left behind, but these Mire lions would pay dearly for thinking they could claim her.

With a graceless lurch and a growling grunt, Emory fell to his side as intended, but that was where his success ended. Rather than feel the clinging grip to his back loosen and fall away, slacken in any possible way, he felt those claws dig in further, a piercing grip that sent shooting sparks of lancing pain through the bleeding gashes, tearing more than the initial attack had. This wasn’t good; he needed to play this smarter.

Claws scraping into the wet earth, the albino yearling tried to drag himself upward, additional weight and all, though he only managed to get himself partially half-rolled onto his right side before he felt the claws in his back dig in anew and teeth grip the back of his neck. His lips peeled back angrily as a snarl ripped from his throat, and not even fully comprehending his own actions he threw his head back, attempting to slam his back—and his attacker—against the ground beneath him.

Still having seen nothing outright of his attacker though he could feel them there, he rolled his head to the left and reached blindly toward the back of his head with his right paw, claws extended, trying to grab for any bit of flesh that he could from his assailant—an ear, their forehead, their cheek; he wasn’t picky.

Uncertainty filled her while she did a two step on her paws, watching Violarum clash with someone, and she felt her lips pull down in a frown. Why were they involved in another prides drama? Orson’s voice pulled her back to him and she nodded, “yes please” the girls voice was soft and quiet while she followed her friend back out. Not daring to glance back at the fighting males of their pride.
