Original Adopt Thread with Lore
As some of you may know, the Savante come from a background of war, death and their homeland was destroyed by another branch of the Black/Noire family. The males below are those who were kept as prisoners of war after Alexander and the rest left. They were assumed to be dead, and as much as it hurt to leave them behind, it was a must. With no sign or indication they were still alive, the remaining Savante did what they had to do. Their homeland in ruins, the surviving Savante men were able to escape once the rest of the Empire fell to ruin, the Noire abandoning their conquest due to it being beyond saving.

So the Savante traveled, following the faint trail left behind by their kin, finally making their way to Amaryllis.

The following are subject to name changes and whatever personality you deem fit! I just ask that their background, history of war and the like be kept in mind when applying. These were likely some of the frontliners in the wars. The only exception to this are the 3 year old males, who were mere children when they were taken prisoner, raised alongside their kin in harsh conditions and taught to fight and survive to the best of their ability. Timeline wise, the 4 year old males would have been soldiers in the second war at only a year old.

I'd like to see a personality, possible trades, their ideals, and anything else that comes to! I'd prefer these to be Primary or at least active Secondary characters if possible. The Savante clause will be need to be agreed upon as well!

A pillar of ferocity, unforgiving and unrelenting. Alexander's sword, sworn to his side as a strong-willed warrior. Familial loyalty is something great, holding much passion toward the Savante name. Deep respect comes with family attunement, respecting those that head the family while thirsting for individual recognition.

Grigore Savante

Personality: Grigore, much like the meaning of his name, has a mild temperament when it comes to others. He sees himself as the protector of his family. For them, he will bend whatever rules the world has to offer. Any whomever get too close that he doesn't know are met with a stern expression and silence. He isn't rude at all. Manners and politeness are a great trait in him. Words spoken with strength and maturity.

He is very picky with who he keeps as company. Not liking many around him and preferring a smaller group of associates. No one was really a friend. Trust is earned. As well as respect and neither he gives out easily. Letting those know by the quietness of his presence. Grigore will not speak unless spoken to. Unless other circumstances recommend he take action.

All and all, Gawain is a peaceful male. Protective. Observant. Passive aggressive. Silent.

History: The ways of war would forever be a chained fence around his heart.

Grigore's first breath of life filled his lungs to the brim with promise. Suckling from the nectar of his mother. Her warmth providing him comfort through all he knew nothing of. Though her absence became more and more prominent. He paid not such attention to the reasonings of why. As long as she returned to feed him and his brother their meals. It didn't occur to the young one, however, when her presence became nothing more than a distant memory. Or how someone else had lifted them up and they were removed from what they once knew was home.

He and his brother remained stagnant. For months, hunched together to protect one another. Clawing and hissing at those that dared get too close. They were decently fed with water and meat. Sometimes cooked. Other times raw and whatever was left from the feast they could smell outside. Grigore became feverish at a point in time. Romeo having to help him back to health. Little did they know that this would leave Gore with endless nightmares. They plagued him over time. Each night awakening with the urge to kill anything nearby. Even Romeo chose to sleep a bit aways from him incase his brother did not wake from such a terrible thing. He would not lose his life.

3 years passed. They'd grown together. Muscles prominent from the hard work made for them to do. The Savante males being put through many sparring sessions. Proving their worth amongst these foreign lions. Some of them becoming allies. Whilst others wanted their heads on pikes. So many nights spent in unconditioned situations. Grigore soon grew into a male of many things. His personality shifting with the wages of war around him. There was a night that he and his brother had to fight one another. No other choice. Despite all they'd endured together. They were nothing but entertainment for their captures.

As Romeo slept, Grigore could no longer stand being under so much conditions. He escaped without notice. 3 years being a long time to map out the territory and finding a way to do so. The feeling of leaving his brother behind was surely overwhelming; however, at that moment, he needed to leave. Nose to the air and paws steady on the earth, he disappeared into the night. Vowing that he would return to his brother as soon as he could... however long that may be.

VINCENZO "VINNY" SAVANTE

strong and silent type. battleborn and bred. will have recurring nightmares and PTSD from being in the war and captured/tortured - he will have a hard time opening up to what he had endured during that time. very family oriented and protective of them all. can be a goofball and play pranks (his personality prior to being captured). just like his half brother, has a knack of attracting many women. hasn't found his lifemate - does believe in it, but until then he's here for a good time not a long time. his relations with women may become aggressive/rough due to being partially unstable from his trauma. may sleep around a lot to try to feel alive. his devotion to Mother may be strained and skewed for the time being due to the fact he and others were left behind (he feels as though Mother had abandoned them until recently, with them finding their way back to the family).

Kraven is known to be a charismatic and noble man, with good leadership skills. He cares deeply for his fellow Savantes, whether they are closely related or not. He has become very skilled at reigning in his temper and keeping his emotions in check over the years. As a younger man, Kraven was less worldly and more submissive, obeying orders without question. Overtime, however, Kraven became increasingly disillusioned and sought to escape from his life of slavery and imprisonment. At the same time, though, he didn't want to abandon his brothers, feeling responsible for them.

As a result of this, Kraven becomes a colder and more ruthless person. He apparently sees no ill in killing others or putting innocent individuals in the line of fire to achieve his goals. However, he is hardly apathetic or selfish - everything he is doing is to better the lives of his family members and avenge those he lost. He treats Alexander with courtesy and often empathizes with him. He has also shown to be rather short-tempered, but is much less aggressive, discouraging infighting and promoting civility and cooperation amongst the family.

Now you KNOW I must be really interested if I'm auditioning for a man. Secondary character who will likely be a muse hog; chaotic evil, he's a slave to his family and will do anything to protect them, no matter the cost. Pain kink, if you think a little blood and gore will dissuade him, your wrong.
