It all dies down soon enough, each battle ending little differently from how Viveka imagined they would. The clay man triumphs over the sickly-looking one, and thus crowns himself as the ruler of these lands. The woman painted in rainbow hues finds defeat at a man's paws, and the ebony woman sees her rage etched out upon the flesh of the younger girl, though she has nothing to protect now - her struggles rendered meaningless. The lioness's curse, perhaps, a perpetual frustration that makes Viveka's jaws clench, even on the sidelines.

She will be different. She must be, even if it kills her.

There's nothing left here that's worth observing, and so Viveka abruptly gets to her feet and pivots on her heels to take her leave, the tall, waving grasses of the prairie soon swallowing up her dark hide with nary a whisper of sound.

The reaction of @András flies straight over the reinstated King's head, similarly to@Ghyslaine's, and Violarum merely assumes he has memorized the name incorrectly. So he regards the both of them with an easy silence, accepting their demands without a second thought - his attention swiftly re-focused upon the wounded @Olive where she lay unconscious.

Thankfully @Calypso is quick to act, and just her very presence is enough to soothe any unease; the flutter in his gut settling to calm waters, his ruby gaze feeding from the seamless motions of his friend tending to his... friend - oh yes, it was nice to see them together, the collision of two worlds that met in the middle - where Violarum was the core.

He would wait. His sides panting, the dripping of his wounds beginning to slow.

like the sea touches the soil it is easy work with extra paws. calypso is quiet as she patches the woman back together, forcing her mind to focus on the task at hand. so familiar to her is healing that he thoughts try to wander, to slip back and poke at the memories invoked here, the festering trauma that hovers always just beneath the surface... but no. no. there are missing toes but they are not like calypso's. where the druid's had been removed during her time in the mist it was a much cleaner amputation; hardly the shredding that @Olive had received. she tends to the worst of the cuts, first. patching them up, winding kelp around the barrel of the wounded, holding her bandages in place. the toes, too, with herbs meant to keep infection at bay (a high risk with wounds so close to the ground). until finally she steps back with a satisfied hum, and immediately swings her head to look at @Violarum. "she be needing rest, aye. ye keep an eye on her while she heals an' i cen come visit. now you." because she wasn't going to walk off without at least easing his discomfort, and the look in her eyes made it clear she wasn't to be argued with. -exit via healing vio?-

It appeared that the fight was over - or fights..rather. Kireena had watched Violarium and his opponent battle for the Plains - pleased to see the purple man fall. She knew Etain would enjoy that news. Still, the red giant would wait, noting the other fight before she turned - slipping away and making her way back towards the Rainforest.

There were others there that she had seen..but chose to continue to keep to herself (Because tabs forgot to post here oops). The lioness would slip away while the newly crowned king and his healers were tending his wounds - and as she did so found herself wondering what type of a pride would live here now?

Kireena moved away, pausing only briefly to ensure that the purple menace was gone before she made her way back home to her den and to her daughter.

The froth and fury did not reach them. After a few more minutes watching others pile in, and determining that his pride was not the subject of dramatic tension, the black lion relaxed and padded down some soft grass to better cushion his seat. The huge one fought with more bullheaded fervor and endurance than strength or strategy, and George had seen enough doomed fights to guess that he would lose eventually. That one seemed unsteady. Off his game. But that he typically had game, oh, that was apparent. It was a pleasure, if slightly intimidating, to watch the match between two skilled males.

George didn't linger but rose with a swift, smooth jerk. He didn't want to cloak himself in the public's eye longer than needed, but he would take advantage of others milling about to trot along another section of the border's perimeter. As though he just happened to move along it on his way to wherever else he was going. Skull low, maw gaping, he inhaled chance scents as he went. There had been a lot of lions here. As expected for a rich savanna landscape. But where they would now go was little of his concern. Perhaps he would stop by in a few months to see how much had changed.

She stays well hidden, not wanting to draw attention to herself while she watches and waits for the outcome of both fights. Green eyes shift between one and the other, watching the injuries being dealt and received. It caused Jiera to flinch every now and again, imagining just how painful these wounds must be feeling but also having to push yourself forward to continue. It caused for an involuntary chill to run along her spine, having to give herself a good shake to rid herself of it. Alert ears are tuned into the fights, listening as the both wound down. The assumed challenger had bested the plum man and the other male won his fight against the vibrant woman. And as others made their leave Jiera, too, would do the same, grabbing her bundle and slipping out from the Plains territory and toward the grove.
