Crimson blood spilled from the tender flesh of Odium's elbow, but the pain of the older man's hold is drowned out by the glee Odium felt at landing his blow to the man's face! He laughed darkly, reveling in the image of the Patriarch drenched in his own blood! - that is, despite Odium being cloaked in just as much of his own.

His laughter was short lived - however - as @Discord sank his curved talons squarely into the crevice of Odium's exposed armpit. The flesh tore unevenly with the force of the blow, blood pouring from the lacerations. Odium, in a pain-fueled rage, lunged viciously at the man's face with a maw wide open and fangs aimed straight for the man's eyes.

Seeing his old man spring into action at the cheap and tiresome comments of @Odium, Poltergeist was kinda... floored. He quickly scooted out of the way, standing and shaking the dust from his coat as he turned to eyeball the fight between the two males. As the fight began to kick up dust around them, he swore he could hear his father’s grinding joints from there...

“A snack would’ve been perfect right about now...” he murmured to himself as he took a seat away from the action, but his eyes were fixated on the fighting pair.

The anger that coursed through him at the utter disrespect was enough to send Discord into a frenzy. The fever was difficult to control at times, especially when it came to bloodlust, and in this very moment he was more than willing to give himself to the fever thoroughly. Claws slice through the stringy flesh of @Odium's armpit but it wasn't enough, he wanted to teach this boy a lesson permanently. Angry teeth aim directly for his eyes but Discord uses his momentum to duck down and away from the boy's grasp. His teeth end up grazing the top of his head, leaving mild lacerations in their wake. Discord takes this moment to lunge again, this time his teeth quickly grabbing hold of Odium's right elbow and crunching down until a satisfying 'pop' could be heard. He wanted to leave Odium with a parting gift, since he was so intent on hating this family anyways .. why not give him a proper reason.

He could have easily shredded his limb apart if he wanted to but ever the gentleman Discord would reluctantly release the boy. He separates from him with pointed ears pinned but his lilac eyes continue to glare. "Go, before I maim your other limbs. You are exiled from this family." He dismisses him before addressing everyone else, "And if anyone would like to suffer the same fate as him, be my fucking guest." He snarls before moving back to his seated position. A large forepaw would move to wipe the blood off of his previously pristine face - (as if he'd just pulled a handkerchief from his jacket pocket to wipe away the debris). His gaze would move to lock onto @Poltergeist next, "And you. It's obvious your marriage has been a failure so I'll be taking your wife for myself. Perhaps she'll be happier with a real man." He muses with a smirk, his gaze shifting easily to @Laveau then. "Come with me." It was no question, it was a demand. "The rest of you are dismissed. I will likely be taking up residency within the Rainforest. I'll be calling us all together here at least once a month to keep tabs on you all. And for fuck's sake don't make me throw anymore of you around. It's tedious and I've got other things to do." He growls before rising, there was nothing left for the man to say. He'd made his intentions clear and wasn't beyond disowning others if they wanted to treat him and their family like a mockery. As he moves he sends a silent glance towards @Laveau, expecting the woman to follow.

The multicolored lioness sat on the edge of her "seat" as Odium spoke out against the family, her eyes filled with worry, unable to tear her gaze away, even after the fighting broke out. Her body was tense as they contiued to fight until a sickening pop was heard and she physically winced as she watched the new head of the family dominate over her adopted brother, deeming him disowned from the family.

Discord turns to them all, snarling, threatening them and the young lioness flattens her ears, eyes casting down to look upon the floor, hoping she was as invisable as she wished to be in those moments.

She glances back up, following the line of sight of Discord straight to Poltergeist, And you. It's obvious your marriage has been a failure so I'll be taking your wife for myself. Perhaps she'll be happier with a real man. She feels her blood run cold, atleast with Poltergeist, he left her the fuck alone, they couldn't stand to be near one another, and that left them a huge level of freedom. She feels that freedom get thrown away, and invisible shackles placed back upon her wrists as she swallows the lump in her throat.

He orders her to follow and she stays still for a moment, still frozen in shock, his dismissal is given and she finally climbs to all four paws, taking a few cautious steps towards him, not looking back at the others, not wanting to look back at the freedom now gone. She follows and finally leaves with @Discord, staying silent as they journey together, her voice unable to find itself.

The old man tore into his armpit with curved talons, a frenzy in them both as hatred and bloodlust clashed like a hammer to an anvil. Odium's teeth missed their mark as the Patriarch dipped his head down to take hold of his right elbow. Odium had not had time to react, and in a swift movement @Discord had wrapped his jaws around the bone and ...

- POP -

Odium cried out in a guttural sound that he himself could not quite recognize, the pain shooting through his right limb as it was rendered a useless pile of flesh and bone. The fight was over, and Odium could barely find the strength to stand through the pain and the stars in his eyes.

Discord spoke, and from beneath the pounding in his ears Odium heard the words "Go" and "Exiled". Odium watched as more words spilled from Discords maw - aimed at @Poltergeist - but he did not pay it any mind, simply glaring at him with furrowed brows as he panted... bleeding and unable to move.

Once Discord had made his way from the scene with Laveau, Odium gathered the strength to take his leave as well. He was unsure if his arm was broken or merely dislocated... but he knew he needed to find someone who could fix him.

Everything happened so fast, there was little time to gather one's thoughts or react... Discord jumped at Odium and the two males fell into a deadly dance. "NO!" @Opium screamed from behind Fury, but the smaller woman was too fast for her to catch before she leapt over her daughters, aiming to throw herself into the fray. Thankfully, @Vain was there to get in the way, blocking her from getting involved at all.

"Let me go, Vain!" she hollered, struggling to get passed him, but thankfully, it would seem Fury's uncle was steadfast in ensuring her mother hadn't done anything stupid. She looked passed him, wondering where her father was and why he wasn't here to keep her at bay.

The fight ended quickly, though, and perhaps luckily all the traitor left with was a broken foreleg. Blood was shed, but not enough for it to be a massacre. No one lay dead in the gardens, and no one had their life threatened. She studied her grandfather for a moment, indecisive of what she thought of him and that little move for dominance. She supposed Odium leaving with a broken bone was better than the other options she had heard her mother talking about once: castration or death.

She nodded to her sister and they made their way back towards Illyria. /exit

At Discord's statement, Poltergeist scoffed in amusement. "You think I'm gonna fight you for her? Take her! But please father, don't be terribly surprised when she births children that look nothing like you." And with that, he flipped his mane to the other side of his neck (mic drop) and turned, ready to disperse, happily free of @Laveau now.

His anger simmered at that real man comment and all the subliminal shit his father had given him throughout this meeting, but he masked it by being slightly amused at the aftermath. Opium screaming and Odium hurting. Ah, what a way to end a family meeting... /exit

Vain had seen from a mile away what would be occuring here once the fight had taken hold. He wondered what this meant for @Opium's husband... haivng been so bold as to take the side of the traitor before the Patriarch... and before, well - all of this.

He was sure, as the battle began, to watch the man's sister closely. She was just as much HIS sister, and he knew that she would try to interfere one the fight had commenced. Vain's gaze caught her as she lept over her daughters, and acting quickly, he managed to fly from his perch to block her path. She screamed and struggled with him, but he was steadfast. He stayed silent, melancholy at what Odium's choice had done to her.

His eyes looked to catch her's, an 'I'm sorry' in their icy depths. Even so, she never looked him in the eye - but ever past him.

Once the fight had concluded, Vain relinquished his hold... and she seemed somewhat relieved for it to be over. Her brother still lived, still breathed - but she needed to face the fact that that might not always be the case.

Vain could see a dead man as Odium walked away broken and bloodied. His hatred for them would never stop him... someone else would have to.

Vain wanted to comfort Opium... but he had nothing to say. Instead she merely left, and with nothing else for him there now, Vain took his own leave in turn.
