Spring. It was odd, for the season change to come so shortly after his win within the Plains; but perhaps even the land agreed with him, that he was the rightful ruler; banishing the bitter cold Aeistrios had always hated. He was thankful, of course, the rays of sun casting down upon his pelt - just curious as he got lost in his thoughts. He had found himself upon the Plains, the skies clear as he laid out underneath the sun; bathing happily in the warmth it was bringing. He watched with a certain glee at the snow melting before him, turning to slush before his paws as it freed up the grass underneath. Peaceful... it was all so peaceful. But, it was lonely; and Aeistrios wanted the company of someone. A particular person who had been heavy on his mind, ever since their lingering touch at his challenge. Without much further thought, Aeistrios lets out a chuff; low and deep from his chest, attempting to draw the attention of @Mavour to him. |
The poisoning of the poor Fool at the shore had been heavy on her mind of late, and although she should feel a sense of deep remorse or even disdain for herself... instead all she could think about was when she would get the chance to do it again. For now, she would face the music, whatever her consequences may be. After all, he was an innocent... but to waltz into the line of fire means you're bound to be burnt. Mavour was the fire, and she never intended to extinguish.
With paws stained red, she quickly trotted to the source of the beckoning call. The stains upon her paws left from quite a fruitful hunt - or rather an extermination of sorts. She had found a hyena den encroaching a bit too close to their borders... so, she had taken it upon herself to rid them of the pesky pups while their parents had been away.
Unfortunately, she hadn't had time to clean up before her audience with the King. This should be interesting.

The scent of blood perhaps should of been a bit alarming, but with how things had been recently among the Plains, he saw it almost as a habitual thing now. Something as common as the sway of the grasses among his lands. There was a flick of concern, though, when he caught sight of her red-stained paws, tainting the bronze color of her pelt. Aeistrios lifts himself a bit more from his relaxed position, head angling to the side in a silent question as he observes her more closely. "You've been... busy?" He rumbles out, a brow slowly raising as he looks to meet her gaze with his. Just what had his favorite interest been getting into lately? |
She looked down at her bloodstained paws before turning her emerald gaze back up to meet @Aeistrios ' own. "Bathing in the blood of our enemies, of course, Sire." She joked, with a lighthearted giggle - something that somehow did not match the carnage that clung to her sunny pelt.
"Would you believe that I took the life of a Brook spy just outside our border?" It was all in a jest that she played off to seem truthful... a game to see just how far she could go with him. Would she be praised for even bringing up the very idea? Would he truly believe her, or think she was even capable? ... or perhaps, would he scold her for even joking about instigating a war?
It was a test of the waters.

He watched as @Mavour observed herself, before those emerald eyes met his own curious purple. Her joking words were followed by a giggle - but the tilt of Aeistrios' head suggested he might see some truth in it. He feels a smirk, small, and his own chuckle follows after her lighthearted laugh. Yet, his laugh trailed off to a whisper when her question reached the air, such a dangerous 'what if' it was. It wasn't hard to miss the way his eyes sobered up, a sudden intensity swarming behind them, lined with... excitement. His body lifts, rising from his sprawled state, wounds groaning at the effort and yet he stood before her with a careful gaze of his eyes. "I believe you are full of many surprises, Mavour." Her name is rolled dangerously off his lips, tail lashing behind him as he aims to take a step closer to her. He desires the distance between them to turn to nothing - just like this Brook spy she spoke of, hypothetically. He attempts to extend his head, then, closer to her - before speaking in lower tones. "I believe you could. I dream of the day you do. However..." He glances down to her empty paws, no Brook prize to be shown off - no bragging. He lets out a breath of air, "Such a feat wouldn't go without a prize, no?" He gestures to her bloodied paws - without a trophy, lest she thought blood was worthy of that title. His gaze did not waver from hers, locked in and focused, all while something dangerous like lust lined at the edges of his eyes. |
He had come closer to her, and she in turn leaned into his daunting presence gladly. Her eyes sparkled with mischievous intent and a hint of lust to match his own. "Ahhh, so my Lord desires a trophy? What might please you most?" She questioned, her tone much quieter as she moved to whisper in his ear.
"A paw? A Skull?" She dreamed of the day she could deliver such trophies, and even moreso did she dream of the day she could decorate her own den with memorabilia. She imagined a future with herself at the helm, commanding men and women alike to cut down her enemies - blood spilt abundant by anyone who was foolish enough to stand in her way!
Her smile was alluring, sultry with a darkness behind it. "A little tail perhaps?" She passed his side, flicking her tail in his nose before she circled around him like a predator stalking her prey.

Her gaze is flirtatious, such a thing that edged the King on with confidence in each move. @Mavour could reject him, she could switch her emotions and shut down their scandalous exchange; but it seemed the both of them were enjoying this. Her whispered words into his ear sent a shiver trailing down his dark spine, eyes darkening as he peers to her. He notices their closeness, and yearns for the air between them to evaporate altogether. Her teasing does not stop, though, and he finds himself at a loss for words - unable to answer her as she passes his side, her tail flicking underneath his nose while she circles him. Was he the prey this time? The thought of actually excited him. A breath in - ears perked on top his head as his eyes follow the movements of her large body, her bronze pelt the target of his whole focus. "So tempting, all of those options." He finds his voice to be a low drawl, the idea of Brook limbs and prizes littering his territory was appeasing - but not as appeasing as her. No, no he had a different prize he wanted right now. As she circles him, Aeistrios aims to step forward, attempting to cut off her path around him with his broad chest, hoping to stand over her with an intense gaze. "There is something far better than all of those." He begins, purple gaze studying her features as if he had never seen her before, taking in even the slightest of marks on her face. She is lethal, her intentions prove it - her fantasy they were both playing into. He loved it, thrived off such a thing and she had so easily wrapped Aeistrios around her paw. She could dangle him, she could lead him on and he'd be a puppy following her scent - yearning to finalize what his mind was already conjuring up. She'd been willing to put herself in enemy territory, to go undercover and face danger head on. Brave, bold, beautiful - everything the Saxe sought after. Lusted for. "I want you, Mavour." |
She giggled quietly, her alluring smile taking on that mischievous air as she responded confidently. "Far better indeed, your Majesty." She walked right up to him as he tried to loom over her. She did not cow, did not shrink away. Instead she lifted herself gracefully until they were muzzle to muzzle (Though of course he was MUCH taller than she, so she was still looking up to him as she did so).
It was often she made herself unavailable to men who simply chase her... thinking that with a bit of attention and some honeyed words they could have their way with her and then go about their own. But Aeistrios was different. Not only was he the King of the Plains, but he was strong, powerful... and he had proven himself beyond what any other so-called "suitor" could even dream of. He had earned her.
"I suppose I could oblige," She teased, "For the night." Still, she was not a whipped puppy. She would hold the control for herself. He could have her, but only because she wanted HIM too.

A gift - a fine jewel of bronze edges was bestowed in front of him. Her teasing words obliged his request, but he knew it was only because she so willed it. There was something to @Mavour that was far different than the rest, than Reah, Renfri and Sayen. She was not soft like his white wife, nor firm like his ebony- not even to the lethal degree of Renfri, he suspected. She seemed... to be only, utterly Mavour and not having a fitting word to describe her partly scared Aeistrios. He found determination settling in him to make for the night last as an everlasting forever. Embracing her, a low rumble vibrates along her chest as the distance is closed, Aeistrios eager to explore the unseen parts of Mavour. |
