A breeze had called to her. Or at least that was how it felt while she had been exploring. There had been no wind, yet suddenly she was met with a cool breeze. — The Fjords. Home. — Ears perked ever so slightly as she turned to follow where the breeze was leading her.

Soon she found herself overlooking what appeared to be a massive lake.

Hvor enn jeg går, the pale furred lioness muttered to herself with a rumble.

This place had called to her, yet she didn't quite know why this one place. —Memories, of course. A reminder of what used to be. — Her tail slowly flicked from side to side, claws digging into the soft snow that remained still as darkened clouds slowly filled the sky.Such beauty.

To get better at doing her job, one that she took seriousness to. The dark lioness needed to work on practicing her skills. So one such a day, she decided to do so. Tulie used a carcass nearby, outside of the Plains to rub against and cover her fur in the decomposing stench. She wanted to completely remove the scent of the Plains from her pelt. Once the efforts were completed, she dipped into some snow to rub against the ground underneath to rub against the mud.

Heading more North now, she entered the Freeze. Particularly, the Glacier Lake. Keeping herself low, orange gaze cast around as she glided her tiny form forward. Catching the scent of another nearby, she followed it. Flicking her ears backwards, Tulie would stay low. Hearing some foreign words as she stayed hopefully far enough back to not be caught onto, just yet anyway. Keeping a few yards back, she tried to stay in the shadows to just watch and observe a lioness talking to herself.

Soft ears twitched ever so slightly as she allowed her gaze to wander. Her tail slowly swished behind her, brushing against the snow. — So much like home. But it is not. — For a moment she allowed her mind to wander, to happier days when home was still home. A low, barely audible rumble slipped past her lips.

She didn't seem to notice the lioness following her, yet she didn't appear to let her guard down at all. With graceful movements she made her way towards the water. A simple lioness in appearance, her movements told a different story. Though slender, even at a relaxed, slowed lope, each step was made with purpose, power behind it.

Her ears flicked yet again as she lingered closer to the water. — Was there...no, nothing at all. — Her gaze returned to the water as she simply watched the life below the surface, unaware that she was in fact not alone, before she once again started to move.

The cafe lioness was successful at keeping hidden so far. Using more of mud that was nearby, it was cold and harsh but helped aid to hide her scent more. Tulie worked at following the other lioness, but kept back far enough to not be caught. There was an elephant calf's carcass nearby and she shifted to hide within its hardly decaying body. The freezing temperatures in this region kept it from decomposing too much, offering a place to hide and enough to keep the stench of it to overpower the stench of her being there.

Watching the lioness look at the water, Tulie wondered what she was doing. But she wouldn't approach her quite yet. No, instead, the Lead Scout would stay where she was. Only her orange gaze would watch from her distance, not moving from her spot. Instead, ears would remain down and body flattened against the ground. Pretending to be the shadow of the carcass.

So far the darker lioness had been fortunate, going unnoticed by the lighter one. — Practiced skill and knowledge of the land, no doubt. — But how long would that luck last? And how would the slender lioness react to being followed?

For a moment her gaze wandered to the sky, watching the clouds, but then she turned around and slowly trotted the way she had gone before. Though she didn't far before something drew her attention. Something isn't right. A quiet thought that had her shift ever so slightly. With a quiet growl she approached the carcass. Sharp claws clicked against an exposed bone as she raised a paw to touch it.
Her slender frame slowly lowered as she prowled around the carcass, slowly circling part of it to see if there was something or someone hiding. But she didn't seem to notice the hiding lioness.

Another deep growl sounded from her as she stalked away from the carcass, still within view. But she only moved a few steps before sitting down, seemingly not looking at the carcass at all, her tail flicking from side to side, a subtle quiver in the bushy tip.

The dark lioness was very close to being discovered as the wheat one approached her hiding spot. The shadows of the bones helped hide Tulie but at the rattle of the claws against the bone, she shivered slightly. But then Lagertha moved away and sat in the distance. Musing to herself for a moment, she decided to shift away from the bones and the stranger, sneaking away. Her body turned so it looked like she would be coming back to the area from a completely different direction. She rubbed herself against the ground, making herself look ridiculous on purpose. Her tiny, lithe stature looked like she was just arriving in the way that she moved. Pretending that she wasn't even aware of the other lioness, she would randomly flip and roll against the ground.

The pale one's attention had seemingly been on the water the entire time. But she'd noticed a moving shadow from the corner of her eye. Only a small movement, not enough to match her previous suspicions. Perhaps she'd just imagined it before?

Eventually she did turn her head when she'd noticed more movement and she found herself looking at the smaller lioness, ears slowly pinning back as the fur on her neck rose. The darker one did look ridiculous, moving like that, and she wasn't quite sure why she was acting like that. With a low growl she rose, slowly stalking towards @Tulie with movements almost in slow-motion, sharp claws purposely clicking against stones.

"Were you following me?" Lagertha eventually asked once she was closer, a faint growl in her tone, wary of the other.

The cafe lioness continued to flip and whirl and tumble in the mud. Purposely making herself look dumb to throw off what she had been originally doing. At the sound of someone talking to her, she did another flip as she tumbled into a sit. "Nope. I just love to tumble in the snow." Orange gaze looked at the bigger lioness as she swatted at the powdery substance trying and failing at making a snowball. The only place she saw snow as a cub was when she went up to the Northern Clans during a Journey for trade. "Just tumbling. Wanna tumble?"

No regrets

and yet, every regret

How....odd. There was definitely something off about the smaller lioness, but she wasn't quite sure of it. Then again, maybe that was just how she was. With a small huff, the pale lioness decided to settle where she was, simply sitting down again. Her tail flicked in the snow behind her, almost as if part of her did want to enjoy the snow just as much. Whoever this odd lioness was, she did decide to believe her...for the moment.

"Tumbling in the snow..." Lagertha shook her head a little with an amused snort. It had been far too long since she'd taken the time to enjoy the snow. Far...far too long. And perhaps even longer since she'd actually played in it. So long that it felt like a foreign idea. "Well...I suppose that it could be fun." Somewhat reluctantly, she decided to bat at the snow, swatting it around a little to try and make a snowball as well. Not that her attempt was any better. "Do you live around here?"

With the success of covering her scent and appearance, her current methods of pretending to be a Rogue whenever she left her pride lands, it seemed to work with the stranger. At the question about living around there, she shook her head slowly. "I live everywhere. Here. There. West. East. North. South. A Nomad." Her speech as chaotic as she was acting as she continued to tumble and roll in the snow. Her scent completely thrown off as being a nobody. Even as a Mamutoi, the traveling Clan in which she resided once upon a time could easily hide the fact of which Hearth they belonged in. She was as much as a traveler than anything else. A shadow in the wind.
