This will likely be a fight that will be spree'd out fairly quickly but anyone in the pride that actually wants to see the twins fight over the rank is more than welcome to show up!

Laerra had absolutely stewed on her frustration; the fact that she had done things time and time again to gather information and perfect her sleuthing skills for Amara and Louve and yet she was only given Lead Scout??? What was that bullshit!? Of course, if someone were to actually tell her that Lead Scout was a very important job that helped out not only the leaders but the whole pride then she would certainly have changed her tune. Yet, something about the title didn't tell her that it was important. She didn't see any other sleuth's lining up to let her lead them, did she? No.

So the twin called for her to come and defend what she had not earned. Between the two sisters, this was nothing sort of play and exactly what they were born to do. They fought against each other for everything the other didn't have an then some, but they were always bound by their dedication to one another. More so than any other sibling and she would be damned if anyone truly set out to hurt her sister. This, this would be something personal.

Aideen was a Gentry!

That was exciting and perfect, and everything in her mind that she had earned, with all the amazingness that she was. She was ten feet tall, and the scariest thing in the Bluffs- or so she thought. Laerra was given the rank of Lead Scout, and Aideen was happy that her sister had something as well! Lead Scout sounded cool, maybe not as cool as Lead Fighter, but still cool. She did not know that her sister was upset with that, so when she heard her sister call for her, she approached with a happy and a bit arrogant lope.

"Hey Lead Scout!" She crowed as she approached. Her tail high as she loped towards her halting about five feet away, with a big grin. She turned herself, so that she was more perpendicular to her sister, and held her head high as she spoke. "I look good as gentry, don't I?"

Sister foolish; that was what it was. @Aideen moving towards her with excitement that was clear as day and for a moment, her body language gave into that excitement. Mirroring her sisters happiness as she bounded towards her. The call of her title was what brought her smashing back down to the earth and reminding her exactly why she had called for her in the first place. You don't think I deserve Gentry, too? she asks, obviously reading the wrong thing for her sisters gloating and physical presentation. Reading into it that Aideen thought that she only deserved this "Lead Scout" title and not something so fancy as a High Rank. I will fight you for it. She took a deep breath, knowing that she wasn't being as nice as she could be but this should be of no surprise. That if one twin had something grand, the other would surely want it, too.

Well, this she hadn't expected.

Her sister's words were not the happiness that Aideen had and expected from her. {"What? I thought Lead Scout was just a good."} She said, her excited grin, falling. {"Lead Scouts cool!"} She said shaking her head. Confused. She turned to face her sister fully, when her sister said she'd fight her for it. {"Fine."} She said, with a grin, flexing her claws into the dirt. {"But I'm not holding back. 'Cause we got ranks now."} Basically, they're grown, right?

She rolled her shoulders back, and lowered her head- before she charged forward, aiming to slam her shoulder into her sister's chest or other shoulder if she could. Laerra had tried that once, and Aideen was definitely willing to copy something that worked. Maybe she'd knock her down. Just cause they were the same big, didn't mean that maybe one of them couldn't trip!

Was there a part of her that felt guilty for behaving in such a way? Yes, but she was also a fool for not feeling worthy. A part of her was listening to @Aideen express that Lead Scout was just as good. That it was cool but it was too late to back down. Too late for her sister had agreed to a fight for it and Laerra instantly furrowed her brows and nodded her head. Win or lose, she just wanted to prove to somebody that she was just as good! Just as worthy to hold a big rank.

With her sister butting her shoulder straight into her chest, Laerra attempted to do the same. Pushing her shoulder forward so that they might intercept at the same point by doing the same move to each other. Eventually attempting to raise her right paw to attempt to slap her sister on the left side of her face, claws aiming to land just beneath her left ear.

The problem with fighting her sister, who was the same size as her... was that well, when Laerra moved and her shoulder hit into her chest- well Aideen felt the air whoosh out of her in a loud breath. She snarled in annoyance, and felt the impact of her sisters paw- and subsequently her claws in the side of her face- the snarl of annoyance turned into more of a snarl of rage. Aideen aimed to slap her own paw, into her sisters head, with her claws out- aiming to cuff her right over the ear, as she would aim to lunge forward with splayed jaws to grab ahold of her sister- anywhere she could with her teeth.

What to piss Amara off? Question her. As the call for a rank challenge came from a yearling she just gave a rank to rang out and annoyed huff was heard as she lifted herself up and moved to where the two girls were bickering. Amara's ears flicked as she listen to them. Foolish girls. Amara snarled as she neared them and they jumped at each other. Amara wasn't the type to just toss ranks out, yes, they had gotten them when they did because their mother had been watching but Amara had been thinking about it for awhile and had settled on the ranks she did for a reason. Her wounded body stood as she watched the two. She would let them fight, clearly they needed to figure something out and she would never stop them from channeling the desires within but as soon as they were done, Amara had some heads to knock together.

Laerra never said out loud that she was smart! She just didn't know that Lead Scout was just as important a rank within the confines of a pride as Gentry. After all, wouldn't anyone think that Gentry and Noble were most important since they were considered High Ranks? It was hard not to want what your sister had. So as their bodies collided and the breath whooped out of both of them, @Aideen's claws hitting her upside the head right on top of her ear with a few minor scratch marks and as her twin sister's jaws reached for her cheek and bit down, Laerra attempted to reach with her own jaw to grab at her sisters throat. Not super aggressively, of course. Even though she was hella jealous, they were still each other wing woman ten times over.

Aideen really didn't think much down into the emotional side of things to understand exactly why they were fighting. She didn't get why Laerra wanted gentry so bad when she was the lead of something, but Aideen didn't back down from a fight- and if she wanted to fight? Well, it was good practice.

Her sister's teeth bit into her neck, and Aideen screeched, but did not try to jerk back as she just aimed to bite down into her cheek a bit more- hopefully not scarring her sister too bad- because they had to stay pretty right? At the same time, she'd aim to stomp on her one of her sister's paws, to hopefully make her yowl in pain and let go. But, yknow, nothing too damaging because.. sister's right?

Despite the girls similarities, their thinking patterns were quite the opposite. Where on saw one side, the other saw what was left. While Laerra was quite the more logical thinker in most things, she also felt a lot of things on a much deeper and emotional level. @Aideen tightened her grip into her cheek and Laerra growled while attempting to bite a little tighter on her sister's neck. Then attempting to put her right front paw on top of Aideen's left front, trying to put as much weight into it as she could. Not realizing that Aideen had gone to do much the same to her other paw. Wow, they really were twinsies! But also OW as she hissed at the pressure on the top of her left paw.
