He had been loungin' about on a flat-faced rock, enjoyin' the sun that was shinin' down. With a clear sky, he was able to enjoy some of the warmth to help keep his body from gettin' too cold near the ocean, and it was somethin' he was thoroughly enjoyin'. But the rumblin' of his stomach would catch his attention, an ear flickin' as it caught the gurglin' sounds. A golden eye would flutter open, starin' ahead of him to see if he could see anythin' appetizin'. Seein' none, Lucien would rouse himself from his position and hoist himself up onto all fours. Givin' himself a quick shake, the dun man would begin to pad across the black sands, nostrils flarin' as he took in the scents around him. He knew there was somethin' around to track down for a possible meal, and while he continued he would release a call to those around that wished to join him.

Well, wasn't this just peachy? She remembered the guy from their previous hunt and it seemed the man wasn't satiated just yet. Far be it from her to deny the man another meal -- and far between it from herself to deny herself a slice of it. She had growing boys at home and a husband to feed, so she'd be properly daft not to take advantage of the opportunity when it presented itself. Nephthys casually trotted her way towards the man with a nod. "Fancy seeing you again." She just hoped they would be successful; otherwise, she'd waste a ton of energy for nothing.

When she found the same duo, it was a bit closer to home this time. Perhaps maybe it was the same distance, just in a different direction. She wasn’t gonna think on it much; she just wanted to know if they’d be successful in this hunt today and whether she’d get a decent meal out of her efforts. When she came upon the two lions, she dipped her head to them and smiled. “Hey there sugar-bear,” she said to @Lucien , offering him a wink. Then she turned to @Nephthys and said with a smile, “I remember you, too, pumpkin.”

“What ya’ll think we’re eatin’ today?” she asked both or either of them as she lifted her nose to sniff the air. There were scents of ungulates nearby, but they would need to narrow it down to which one they wanted to pursue.

Alester Valour

A call echoed over the steadily cooling shoreline and Alester raised his head interested. A hunt would be a good thing to join, he'd get to see more experienced hunters at work and hopefully fill his belly. Something the bard could not take for granted with how winter was steadily approaching with every passing day.

Making his way toward the assumed hunting party Alester found a pair of lions and tiger. Judging by the sound of the call he assumed the brown and black lion had called them there. He was older than Alester, they both were, but only his scent was clean as the woman's frame gave off the scent of others. A pride, gang, or family Alester didn't know. She was a deep red, an odd color much like his pink. But perhaps the strangest of the three, the one who had him hesitate for a moment before approaching was the tigress. Alester had never spoken to or interacted with any other feline species and the tigress was an impressive being. "Greetings to you all" he spoke as he nodded his head toward them. An extra glance cast towards the tigress before his attention was drawn to the lion who'd called them here waiting for him to start the hunt.

The hunt prior had come away and Raizel had to continue to restock the caches for the Pride this winter. Heading even further away from the Brook, the pink Ranger made her way more south to the Shores. The last time she was this way, she had been successful with hunting an elephant with a large group of other hunters. Raizel looked around as a chuff was heard. It was a familiar sound and went to go investigate. There she saw a lion from before and even the same lionesses. Interesting. Coming up to the group, she nodded over to them before crouching and searching for their target. There was the something in the air, she could smell it. But she waited for the signal.

Laerra was bored and in an effort to be un-bored, she had happened to wander into the ocean. Safely, of course! Swimming in it for a few seconds before coming up for air then doing the same again. Fully convinced she was covered in salty, fish-y smells she then proceeded to get out of the water and roll around in the dry sand. Truly getting a real feel for what it meant to have the sea in your blood skin. Only then did she began wandering towards the land-ier bits of Stygian Shore. The scent of lion coming to her and thus she found a great interest in hiding out amongst the sandier area and making herself appear more land than cat.

Meandering along one of the shores where she had once proposed to Morrigan, it was easy to spot company not so far away. Lions she didn't exactly remember and if she did, the details were hazy at best. Though, she did recall the earthen toned male from that one meeting with all the leaders where he had been the brunt of an entitled youth. Though just as before she settled in close to @Raizel, offering her a friendly nod of her head for their allied-through-family prides before turning her attention to Lucien, waiting on his mark to start their hunt.

The wintry sunlight is a welcome relief to Aria. The cold kept him from venturing far from the caverns The Aviary occupied, but it couldn't last. The beauty and comfort of their nest would surely lose its appeal if he didn't go out and about once in a while. Besides, there was always some task or errand to occupy his time. The storage lay empty, and all the best performers knew it was impossible to keep a party in swing without food. Like a theatrical cue, a roar reached Aria's ears, a prompt he followed toward the group. Now was the perfect time to seize prey larger than the meagre meals he could achieve alone.

Somewhere along his way, @Azhira had slipped past – a reminder of how lax his skills had become. Aria nodded towards their associate, sparing no further acknowledgement of their connection in the proximity of potential clients. There is no need to poke his nose into her affairs – after all, the woman would introduce the two when she was ready.

“Hello.” Aria smiled as they glanced at the gathering – their eyes lingered on the coats and faces of those he found pleasant. They scaled the rock the lion had previously occupied, to scope out the vista. “I hope our target isn't a slug, snail, or crab.” Aria smiled at a particular fond memory of spending time on this coastline with a lovely lioness.

Even with the Cove falling from Gauthier, Leilani still stayed close to the ocean. She had grown used to both the sounds of the waves and the way the sand felt both in between her toes and on her pads. It gave her comfort, and it was something she was not willing to let go just yet. The Hodari moved across the black sands while taking in her surroundings, the sun's rays warming up her abyss fur. It was enough to take away the chill, and a call for a hunt was another to help her keep warm.

Pink eyes seek out the hunting party, soon enough coming across them. Leilani slinks forward, gives them all a meek nod before having to flick her head to the side to clear the locks of mane from her vision. She sniffs the air while settling into a crouch, ready to move when it was time.
