Of course, when Yelena decided to participate in a hunt, she'd actually have to work. This entire premise was very much against her self-appointed retirement. A rhino was an insane target, and they were a small hunting party. Yet, she could not deny the familiar feeling of adrenaline pumping in her veins, the desire to take on a fight creeping beneath her skin. Okay then.

Yelena threw herself into the hunt, committing herself to the group- and when the beast was finally brought down, she contentedly carved herself a nice chunk of meat, before she'd move away back towards her rock. It was time to sunbathe and eat, she figured.

She made quick work of her meal, leaving some for later, before she stretched back out across the rock and groaned contentedly- a soft snore coming from her, as the sun began to warm her fur once again.

Thankfully, a few other Lorien lionesses appeared when she called for them. All of them were ready to hunt down the giant rhinoceros that was before them. Reah did not feel very phased by the animal in her territory, she had already hunted a mammoth and a few elephants before. This wouldn't be any different. However, she wondered if the other women felt a little anxious about it. Without another word, fearlessly, Reah began the hunt and would attack. She was hungry and the thought of juicy rhino meat in her belly only caused her to act more viciously. It was hard work but the animal was brought down, and Reah harvested a warm meal for herself.

Thankfully, @Renfri had not been offended by the Lead Scout offering to help the Heiress on taking meat back to the den. "Keeping up with any late night hunger is important." The Mamutoi lioness was observant to the changes and calculated the upcoming arrivals. Taking a sizable chunk of the animal, Tulie followed the other small lioness back. Orange gaze looked around as they neared the den and she placed the piece at the entrance before dipping her head and leaving the Heiress to go back to the hunting site. She wanted to preserve some of the hide and carved a chunk away with meat still attached. When she would get back to her own den, she planned to separate the meat from the hide and preserve it for later use. Tulie did just that by heading back to her own area of the Plains. She had things to prepare.

If she was being honest with herself, Hexa was a little surprised to see a rhinoceros in the grass. The animal must have been feeling rather bold to hang around in lion territory. Perhaps a little too bold, as she knew what was about to come in just a few moments. She licked her lips at the thought of rhino meat upon her tongue, and hastily she moved with strength and vigor. Her claws unsheathed and she attacked, helping the rest of the pride take down the large and rowdy animal. With all their strength combined, the beast ended up meeting its demise. She greedily took a warm piece for herself and walked off, pleased with the outcome of the hunt.
