The mask of youth had saved him.Why was he out in the middle of no where? He had no fucking clue other than he was tired of seeing sand and nothing but sand. His dark pelt didn't agree with the sun nor the heat that came off of the heat around him. The colossal child grumbled as he moved throughout the land, finding some cliffs that gave off some shared and without realizing that he was in fact trespassing Aemond would move through the Bluffs and found a shaded area and would lounge there, blissfully unaware of the danger he was putting himself into by crossing this imaginary border.

she knew the scents of the rogue - that fetid stench which drew her near to them like a maggot to the carcass. but faustine had yet to understand the existence of kingdoms beyond her own, nor the relationship her mother and grandmother had with them. all she knew was that someone didn't belong here, someone who smelled wrong. as the most loyal little ghoul, faustine couldn't let that slip from her grip as she followed the scent trail. unfortunately, the owner of the scent was not a starved wolf. neither was he one of her elusive family members coming to join them. no, he was just a child, albeit older, with a scent that wasn't unpleasant. but it was foreign and wrong - that alone convinced faustine that he shouldn't be here.

but, oh he was big, and faustine's stomach rumbled as she watched the boy from afar. though she was only shy of three months, faustine had found herself bold and driven to face the trespasser without the desire to call for backup. after all, she was a princess here, and as a princess, she had the responsibility to ensure her family's well-being.

her body slipped out of the shadows until @Aemond could see her clearly beneath the partially hidden sun. the day was not too hot nor too cold, but enough so that the ghoul could feel the adrenaline rushing into her. vous êtes en infraction you're trespassing she hissed, while puffing her body up. without waiting for the older boy's response, faustine lunged forth, attempting to grasp aemond's front chest while her fangs attempted to connect to the flesh. she could only feel the protective instinct and a desire to taste blood.

Over the years, many have cross her borders without an invite and all have found themselves attached to claws and teeth quickly. Amara had a hard line on uninvited guests. Attack first and ask questions later. The scent of the mire being so close caught her attention and the fact it seemed to be coming from a cub peeked her interest. She arrived to see the cub was well within her borders and that her granddaughter was already on the attack. It reminded her of how her own cubs had attacked some cubs that had arrived uninvited so many years ago. Here is was happening again but this time, it was an allies cub who made the mistake. The high sovereign didn't stop princess's attack. The Mire cub needed to learn this lesson and it was better he learned it here and now among friends. She turned her gaze outward, watching to see if there was a parent attached to the youth that may come busting into her lands. For now, she would allow the cub fight to remain one on one and would stop anyone else from joining in. Even if her granddaughter lost, lessons would be learned.

Aideen stalked around the borders of the Bluffs, her head held arrogantly high, as she moved. No one could dare stand against her! She was mighty and the Bluffs were only serving to make that inflated ego, larger. She moved along the border, pausing only when a different smell surprised her. Her nose twitching and a growl within her chest, she followed the scent.

She wasn't quite prepared for the sight of one of the younger cubs- one that had to be Louve's going after another cub! Her eyes widened in surprise, but before Aideen could decide whether to help or not, she spied @Amara, and it was to the Queen that Aideen drifted, coming to stand near her. "Do I help her or let her fight alone?" She asked, her eyes drifitng to Amara for a moment, before back to the cubs- willing to see if there was anything to learn, or lend a paw if the Queen ordered it.

Oh he had seen her but still his reaction was slow and therefore her teeth dug into his flesh and caused Aemond to grumble in pain and snarl at such a move. His ears went flat on top of his head as he would reach up with right leg, claws outstretched, as he would attempt to reach towards the nearest side of his opponents that he could reach with his claws. As well as attempting to snap at her leg if possible. He was new to this so it was all a big jumble to him.

mother was right - boys were slow and stupid. ( of course, that excluded papa and the other male dieus. ) but everything was so swift that faustine couldn't find the chance to celebrate her win. @Aemond had his claws raking against her chest, causing a yowl of pain to slip out of her. this would be the first time someone broke through faustine's thick coat, and the first-ever pain she felt. however, she managed to barely dodge his jaws; instead, the tip of aemond's fangs caressed her leg, leaving superficial wounds that even faustine didn't acknowledge. with her back legs instinctively digging into the ground, the princess attempted to wrap her body around the older boy's right leg, hoping she could squeeze him.

The mask of youth had saved him.The scent of blood caused his mind to grow foggy and hazy with red. That was all he saw, even when teeth didn't make purchase, Aemond was already thinking about his next move. His opponent wrapped herself around his leg but he pushed his front half up to a half sitting, half standing position and would attempt to snap at her back thigh. His movements still jumbling, unpredictable and sloppy but he was a quick learner and knew that he needed to be off of the ground. If he were to show her exactly who he was and why he was a Devorre.

Amara didn't catch movement from anyone else so it seemed the cub had managed to find his way here on his own. She looked at @Aideen who arrived and seemed ready to jump in. Let them fight. Amara said as she looked back to the cubs. He is from the Mire, an ally so we will keep things fair and bring him back once this is finished. The cub is lucky that he was from the Mire, Amara was unlikely to give an enemy cub another chance after what happened before. She sat down, her gaze keenly on the fight in front of her. She was keen to make sure things would stay fair between the pair, happy with the effort that @Faustine was putting in.

She's far roo late to join her sister but she's never too late to watch. The commotion is a far cry to the otherwise quiet day, and she arrives like a moth to the flame. Attention is solely on the fight itself, the male reeking of not-here. She only glances at the other two lionesses when amara speaks, declaring that they'll ship him home when all of this is done. Absently she shakes her head, happy to veto that idea if anyone's counting her vote. Non, il reste. no, he stays. she murmurs, a quiet decree but one she means with her whole chest. He smells of the red rocks, he has made her sister bleed. les notres. ours.

little faustine didn't want to let herself go, for this limb - this warm fleshy thing - kept her from wanting to feel the emptiness that came from it. her back legs were starting to slide down, tail instintively thrashing in the air. she felt @Aemond rise, but she only attempted to hold on harder. and, then, the older boy bit her back thigh; it was an easy feat for him with his size, but faustine still felt a sudden surprise from the suddenness of it. rather than allow only him to snap at her, she decided to bite back ( but it wasn't like faustine would never not bite ) and attempted to sink her fangs into the boy's upper limb. much to her displeasure, aemond's teeth was tough than hers was, and aemond made her feel pain and feel a trickle of blood flowing out. at the same time, it caused the adrenaline inside her to pump faster, harder; anticipation and excitement was clawing at her. she couldn't let him go - didn't want to let go - and though she couldn't properly describe it yet, she wanted him to leave with a piece of her.
