October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Spring
The rain is slowly peetering out across the lands, though it is still heaviest in the east and lightest in the west. Thankfully, however, the temperature is steadly rising and the sun no longer hides behind the clouds. In celebration of the new season, the vegetation is alive and lush and plants are growing wildly across the valley. Spring is in the air!

Some of us fall off the beaten path
Thunder boomed on the horizon as Azhira made haste back towards the Labyrinth. It wasn't raining yet, but the foliage and debris in the Grove were wet and soggy. Twice she had nearly slipped, but she was intent on making it back to the cave before the skies opened and pelted rain down upon her perfumed fur.

Upon nearing a dipped bank in the forest floor, she mistook a algae-encrusted rock for a bit of leaves and slipped on it. She went down the bank, unfortunately sliding on her elbows and tummy, encoating her freshly perfumed and washed fur in loose soil and mud. The algae-covered rock left a nice gash on her heel, and when she came to a stop at the bottom of the bank, and noticed how much mud she wore, she let out an exasperated cry.

Azhira whimpered, not particularly in physical pain, but pain thinking about how much she'd have to wash up again and repurfume her coat just to be looking as nice as she did but a few minutes ago. She laid there on the forest floor for a moment, feeling embarassed. As she looked up at the sky, she felt a single, but fat raindrop hit her square between the eyes.

Even though she was more than aware that a storm was approaching, Wanheda would set off in search for some nibima. With constantly rotating medicinal herbs and plants and burying ones that were no longer useful, it helped her keep track of what she was low on or didn't have at all - nibima being one she had yet to start storing. So she set off in search of it, observing the many flowers and bushes she passed to see if it were hidden away between or within them.

The warrioress would take her time as she explored and examined, making mental notes of other useful flora she came across for the future if she ever needed them. Her search would lead her toward a bank, finally spotting the green plant. To an untrained eye, the plant would have just been that: a plant. It was not an herb that stood out aside from slightly lighter green bulbs that nestled in the center of the leaves and stems. She would be delicate in her work as she began to gather, using a claw to cut at the base so that she would be able to carry it from the end of the plant rather than slobber all over the leaves and flowers themselves.

As she finished collecting some would she hear a cry, ears twisting forward as Wanheda fell into full alertness. It was a different cry than what a lion would usually release, the curiosity and wonder causing for a brow to rise. With a sigh she would collect the nibima she had collected so far and would head toward the direction the noise had come from, icy gaze sweeping her surroundings to keep her alert. With the plants being in front of her nose it would mask the scent of tiger, and as the lioness took a narrow trail down the embankment she would spot the grey tiger several yards away. Whiskers twitched as her muscles tensed; she had very little run-ins with tigers, and from her past experiences they never seemed to have ended well.

"Are you alright?" She'd call out in loud voice, words slightly muffled due to her holding the plants between her teeth. Wanheda would stay standing where she was, observing and taking in the tigress's rather muddy appearance, wondering how this interaction would play out.

Some of us fall off the beaten path
Azhira lay there for a while with her eyes closed, hearing and feeling the rain fall around her. Internally, she was very upset and embarrassed, and she was trying to think if she knew where there was a stream or river deep enough to scrub away most of this dirt before one of her clientele found her like this. A strange voice broke away her thoughts, though, and one single green eye opened to stare up at the cloudy sky.

“Oh, uh—“ she began to say, rolling over onto her paws and sitting up to face the woman. She hadn’t realized she was in the vicinity of others. She hoped no one else came to see what happened and found her like this. The mud and dirt stuck to her thick fur was much worse from this angle. “Well, yes,” she finally said, looking down and abashed at her condition. She was glad, though, that the woman was an unfamiliar face.

But Azhira was not alright… not completely anyway. The scent of blood lingered around her, and she sat there feeling like she wanted to cry. “I mighta cut my ankle on that dang rock,” she murmured, peeking back up at the lioness who stood there with a concerned look.

The tiger didn't react to her sudden presence in a foul way, which was further than she had gotten before with her past encounters. Her ears would twist slightly so that the rain hit the tops of them instead of dripping down the leather and into the canal, eyes narrowing to watch the stranger right herself before staying seated. When she was told that the other was alright, the healer was about to give her farewell before the other continued, mentioning cutting herself on a rock. Well now Wanheda couldn't leave, not in good conscious, anyways. Despite the differences in their species, she was a medic, and what meant she had her own personal laws she had to abide by.

"I'm a healer," she would begin with while taking a few paw steps closer. "I can look at it if you'd like, but it'd be best if we found a drier spot first." Blue gaze began to scan their surroundings, trying to see if she could find any sort of den or trees with thick enough leaves in the canopy to block of the majority of the water that was pouring down on them.

Some of us fall off the beaten path
"I sure don't wanna be a bother, miss," Azhira began, standing now and limping towards the lioness - sure to not put too much weight on her back ankle. "But if ya wouldn't mind, I'd like to keep it from scarrin'." Then she offered the healer a small smile, swiveling her own ears down (airplane ears) to avoid the rain from falling within them. The rain was beginning to pelt down, making some of the mud and dirt stuck to her coat run. It still didn't look any better, though.

"Do ya know of one? A drier spot, I mean." she asked, peering over the healer's shoulder passed her into the grove. From here, she saw no drier spots. All of the grove was under trees, and soon, all of it would be moist from the rain. If the other woman knew of one though, Azhira was keen to follow. "I'm Azhira, by the way."

A simple shake of her head came whenever the tigress spoke about not wanting to be any sort of a bother, droplets of water steadily dripping from her maw and flicking away as she shook her head. "It's no trouble. If I denied you medical attention I wouldn't be worthy of calling myself a healer." Just things that Wanheda would want to happen to her if she ever needed help, hoping that her good deeds would bless her with the positive side of karmic justice. And while the other asked if she knew of a drier place they could get to, icy gaze was already looking around their surroundings. The warrioress couldn't see much other than thick brush and the typical plants that grew within terrain such as the grove, but Wanheda knew there had to be a den of sorts around here.

"Wanheda," name would slip out in reciprocation before beginning to pad along the embankment wall, tail flicking to signal for @Azhira to follow while keeping her eyes glued ahead of her. With the many creatures that inhabited Amaryllis, there was bound to be a stray den or two that had been long since vacated, and as she trailed more and more alongside the wall it would seem as though her gods would bless the two of them as an indentation came into view. Her pace would quicken, and as Wanheda grew closer she would sniff the air to see if there would be anything unwanted lingering about. Scenting none, the healer would pass the mouth of the den and turn around, peering inside from the side of it. "It looks empty enough," she would comment while attention shifted between the den and the tigress.

"Go inside and get comfortable. I'm going to head back to get the plants I was gathering and search for a couple of other things to use. I shouldn't be long." After waiting a moment, Wanheda would head back in the direction they had come from, a brisk jog moving her through the rainstorm. Her bundle of nibima was drenched, but it would not dampen the ways the herbs would work. Eyes and nose would begin to get to work then, sniffing out some ahsanti pepper to help alleviate any sort of sprain that may have occured while Azhira slipped down the bank. Grabbing both leaves and the small, round brownish fruit that clung to the leaves and branches. Placing those atop of the nibima, Wanheda would use her nose to push it all onto a large leaf she had found before using her teeth to nip at either end to carry.

She moved quickly, and soon she would be back at the den. As she placed the leaf just inside the den entrance, the woman would give herself a good shake to try to rid herself of what she could of the water that soaked into her fur before entering. Eyes would blink a couple of times to adjust to the dimness, and as she moved she would shift the leaf with her. "Where are you hurt?" Brow rises as she waits, trained eye already looking over what she could see of the tigress since she was closer now. She knew Azhira said she might've cut her ankle but she was also wanting to see if she were hurt anywhere else.
