He let his wounds heal a bit better before moving, before doing anything else. His defeat was unfortunate yet he felt no negative nor like the world would end. The defeat was usual in life, no one wins every fight. And while some see losing as the worst thing, Erras saw it as a win. A win of experience, of the chance of getting better. Recovery was a different story; wounds healed slowly, and even though he knew just a bit about healing, he knew he needed a more professional approach. As such he finally made his way to his cousin's pride, ready to join his kin. He let a call loose through the peaks, looking for Morrigan or anyone who could help him get settled. Respectfully he waited by the borders.

She hadn't seen her cousin since the battle in the Pit, but she hadn't been ignorant of the fact that he had defended her family at the cost of himself, even when they'd only just met. She was pleased then when she heard his call and trotted to the border with only a slight limp now to greet @Erras. "Welcome to the Summit, cousin," she would say allowed as his frame came into view. He didn't look too worse for wear at least, but he definitely didn't seem to be getting the best care either. "You look like you could use the help of one of our healers." She wished he had come to them sooner, but she couldn't blame him for wishing to know the lay of his new lands first either.

As expected his kin was quick to answer his call, his request for residence within the cold peaks that formed this pride. A pride fit for the Greyflood, or so he thought. And he couldn't stop feeling fortunate for finding his blood this far away from home, and as far as he could tell they were flourishing here. Good signs for him. "Cousin," He said calmly, as serene as usual. Even tones but aimed words. "Your prediction is right, I do seek assistance. But before that, I would like to be part of what you had built here. If you will have me." He was just too proper for his own good, even around family he couldn't help being too respectful even if he could have just crossed uninvited. Yet he did not. Waiting for allowance first.

Caltáriel descended hastily from behind @Morrigan, having heard his call and hastened toward the border. It felt as if it had been months since she'd seen him, and although battered and wounded, she was happy to see him alive. Both had come out worse for wear in the battle for the Summit, and Caltáriel herself had needed a good few weeks to recover from her wounds. She spared little time in closing the distance between them, careful only to avoid his wounds as she aimed to embrace her brother in as snug a hug as she could muster.

I'm sure Morrigan wouldn't mind you joining us, she grinned, her gaze briefly flitting toward the magpie Queen, before returning to the brownish pelt of her brother. Eyvindr's got some good stuff, it'll fix you right up, she recalls thoughtfully, her smile broadening. The man had done well to ease her pain and patch her up, and had Caltáriel any skills in healing, she would've offered to patch Erras up herself. Sending him to Illyria's medic was perhaps the best mercy.

"Of course we will have you," she answered just as she heard his sister's joyous greetings and assurances of her own ended. She was happy for their reunion, but there was some part of her that ached for her own siblings, for the time she had spent alone. Yet, she had never really been alone since coming to these lands, had she? The gods always seemed to steer support in her direction when she needed it most. Just as her cousins, separated by generations, had still managed to make their way to this new home Morrigan had helped to create, willing and able to fight for her as they had both well proven already. "And Eyvindr is an excellent medic, indeed, as well as our other healers. We are lucky in that right." She had not forgotten Archaic's willingness to excuse her own ignorance and teach her son as well. @Erras @Caltáriel

"Calta," He said, not as expressive as her but excited nothing less. Allowing her to embrace him, of course, his wounds were still flesh enough but as the thoughtful and stubborn man he was, he paid no attention to the pain nor it mattered to him enough. As thus he hugged her back, ear pulled into his fluffy mane. For then pulling back to look her over a bit better. She too had been in battle, wounded as well. But alive, which was what mattered right? "I appreciate the offer, I might look for medical assistance later on. I hope your recovery had been swift." This last part addresses both women, as both had been injured on their battles.

"Thank you Cousin, thank you for opening me your doors. I promise to be of use here." As it should be. "Please do show me around?",exit???

At first, she had felt bad that she had not a skill particularly helpful to @Morrigan. She'd been a fine huntress and coordinator in her previous role, but such needs had been fulfilled by others; thankfully, she'd not made a poor Advisor, and so far the realm of Amaryllis had left Illyria out of its destructive path. It had offered Caltáriel a sanctuary; it had given her the time she needed to adjust to this new place, this new culture. She hoped, too, that it would give @Erras that same mercy.

She had never minded his stoicism. The years had passed and Caltáriel had always been content to be the expressive sister compared to the steeliness of her brother. She pulled back from him, giving him room to breathe and careful not to hurt him any further. The wound she had earned along her neck was still heavy and aching, but her frequent trips to the Summit's medics allowed it to heal quite nicely. Upon Erras' inquiring, Caltáriel turned her gaze toward Morrigan, before beginning to meander her way into the Summit. I can show you, she offered, opening the door for their cousin to continue her duties, which were surely far more than Caltáriel's.

"It has been, thank you @Erras, as I hope both you and your sister's will be as well. Your first scars as Greyflood warriors if not though, right?" she would say good naturedly though there was thankfulness for how quick her newfound kin had been in their loyalty shining in mismatched eyes. @Caltáriel would offer to take her brother on the grand tour, but Morrigan hoped to learn a little more about their own branch of the family if she could, and at least part of their path would coincide with her own border patrol she was sure, "I will join you for a time," she decided before following after the siblings. exit morrigan
