Csitri didn't mind the desert all that much. the gritty sand could be annoying, but it was something she'd swiftly become accustomed to. It'd been fun trying to figure out how best to make herself some shelter - a private den. Her very own room! Imagine that! She was so used to sharing living spaces with the family, it was an exciting feat to be able to make her own little space to hide away in if she wanted to.

More than likely though, the Savantes would also have their own little sleep pile den as well. This would just be her vacation home of sorts. If she had to, the little woman would squeeze into one of her relative's dens. Sleeping alone was...lonely and cold. Not something she really thought she could get used to. So this place was reserved for stores, and chilling away from the sun mostly. Or for when she felt like pouting.

And this was one of those times. Csitri stopped up to the small lean-to she'd created out of broken pieces of wood and dried, large leaves she'd conjured up. A pelt from some goats she'd wrangled with Leila was set lovingly deep inside of the structure, some feathers and moss lining it for maximum comfort.

Csitri would sprawl out on it luxuriously, yawning and spreading her toes out as she stretched on her back. This is the life!

@Septima

Septima strolled the familiar sands with an undeserved sense of accomplishment, basking in a victory that by no means belonged to her. She had certainly not been the one to wrest control of the Oasis from the clutches of monsters (Ronin hadn't either, yeah, but it was the closest she was coming to having him as a bit of a hero in her eyes) and the pride she felt wasn't hers to wear. That did not, however, stop her from feeling it and displaying it proudly. Septima moved among the dunes with practiced ease, gliding across the gritty earth with a contented sigh on her lips. Perhaps she hadn't earned the right to be so downright happy, but she didn't care. She had a loving husband, four healthy and rambunctious children and was finally home again. Being surrounded by family would have made things even better, but she wasn't complaining about having Leonie and Scorpius back by her side. The Miroslav was quite proud of her siblings and the adults they had become. This is the life! Who the hell was in her head? Septima paused with a perplexed look on her face, ears splaying out to the sides of her head as she swept the area for the source of her inner thoughts. When she finally spotted the lioness, the silver piebald casually wandered over to her side. "This is quite the cozy get-up you have here," she said with admiration. Much more than she would ever think to do, although now she was wondering if the cubs might like something similar to play in when they grew a bit older..

The soft sound of muted pawsteps, followed shortly by a voice, had Csitri's eyes popping open. A broad, goofy grin crossed her face as she looked at the upside down lioness who'd approached. She sported similar markings to most of the Savante, and if she hadn't been privy to the moment shared between her siblings at the meeting, she'd probably have wondered if she were blood related in some way.

A playful leer took over her features. Well if it isn't Dragos' not-so-pregnant girlyfriend! rolling from her comfy sprawl and standing to greet her guest, the small woman would scoot deeper in and sweep her tail as a gesture for @Septima to join her.

Just kidding, I'm Csitri! Dragos' far nicer, cuter, friendlier sister. she beamed, bowing deeply to the lioness. Hopefully she didn't scare her off with that offhand comment - she'd love to gossip more on the subject.

Septima couldn't help but grin at the enthusiasm. She could count the number of friends she had on one paw and was always happy to make more, though her excitement was quickly replaced with shock and embarrassment as Csitri called her.. Dragos' girlfriend? Her ears immediately fell against her head in surprise as she replayed the words: Dragos' girlfriend. His girlfriend. His what?! It took a moment for her to process what had just happened and before she realized it, she accepted the silent invitation to join her and began settling down next to a stranger. In a cabana, though, so that was kinda cool. "Um, I'm not.. he doesn't.. we aren't, uh," she stammered over herself like a fool, lifting a paw to her chest to calm the rapid beating of her heart until she regained her bearings. "He doesn't like me like that. He can barely tolerate me to begin with." She was a bitch to him, after all. "I'm Septima."

It seems she'd caught the woman off guard. Not too surprising since Csitri had blurted something out that would likely have Dragos pulling at her ears later. Oh well, he deserved this for ignoring her and making things awkward. So she'd nod reassuringly to the lady and shake her head with a laugh when she mentioned Dragos barely tolerating her.

Oh, don't let that meat head fool you, he acts like that when he likes someone. she'd explain with that same goofy grin. As a matter of fact, I saved his life recently, and he's been icing me out! Can you believe that? Fucking jerk is ungrateful. she'd huff, not realizing she'd gone on a tangent.

Anyway, it's nice to meet ya! I can give you all of the advice on my brother. Not to worry! the thought of her being Dragos' girlfriend was still implanted deep in her dense skull. It was unlikely anyone would shake that out any time soon.

If Septima hadn't known the two were siblings, she may have felt a twinge of jealousy at how nonchalant the woman spoke about him. In fact, she felt a twinge of jealousy regardless because for some reason any woman being close to him made her jealous. Why? It didn't matter. She was a married woman and just because Dragos was tall, dark and handsome didn't make up for the fact that he was a cannibal support..er.. No, wait. She didn't have anything to hold against him anymore. Fuck. "I'm sorry to hear that," she said with a frown. It was never fun to be ignored. She'd felt that a handful of times throughout her life and never once had she considered it to be enjoyable. Her head tipped towards the woman curiously, though. "What do you mean advice?"

Waving a paw dismissively, Csitri would roll her eyes and shrug. Thanks, but it's really okay. He's just got his tail in a wad because a tiny woman saved his colossal butt. Y'know, manly pride and all that. she'd explain with a snort. Seriously, why couldn't he just get over it? At least he was still alive to be embarrassed! Granted, Csitri had a sneaking feeling that her father's words about him not being upset because of pride were correct. He'd seemed rather moody at the meeting.

Dashing the thoughts away, the piebald woman would perk when Septima asked what she meant concerning advice. A devilish smirk crossed Csitri's face then as she leaned in conspiratorially. I know all his soft spots, lady. So I can tell you exactly how to nab him. He's a slippery one, so you'll have to be patient.

Pausing to take a breath finally, it occurred to her. Something she should've thought of earlier. Staring at Septima with wide eyes, she'd blurt out another obscene question.

Were you pregnant with his cubs by the way? Am I an auntie?? her voice would raise in pitch with excitement, although she knew it was unlikely. The Savante had major fertility issues. Even so, the prospect was downright thrilling.

If there was anything on the planet she understood, it was how sensitive men were when it came to their pride. Septima nodded along understandingly and, for the first time, really took in how small the lady next to her was. Huh, well. She'd seen smaller and she'd seen larger, but she supposed it made sense that Dragos might be a little bit displeased by having his hulking self rescued by a tiny woman. It was pretty funny, though. Her cheeks flushed in embarrassment as @Csitri continued to press, saying she knew how to hook the man and the best approach to winning his heart. Truth be told, Septima had never thought about Dragos in that sort of way before, but now that she was it occurred to her he was devastatingly handsome. He had never been cruel to her, though she could count on one paw how many positive interactions they'd had together. Ah, but she was a married woman now. The point was moot, right? The Miroslav shook her head to dislodge the thoughts. Oh, nope. They were back again as the lioness asked if Dragos was the father of her cubs. "N-no, my husband is. Prometheus." Septima swallowed uncomfortably, but somewhere inside she was afraid to tell Csitri because she didn't want Dragos to know. However, Dragos wasn't stupid enough to think she had just put on a few pounds; he knew how sex worked. He knew she'd had it with someone. That someone had not been him. She wondered what it would be like to feel small in his shadow. And those were highly inappropriate thoughts for a new mother that was happily married. "But you should come meet them anyway. They're cute, I promise!"
