Practice speed or stealth

Darkness had just fallen, the last streaks of orange were beginning to disappear behind the distant tree line. A dark form crouched in the tall grass, pale pink flowers standing out from the green stalks that they sprouted from- and if one stared long enough, they would see some of the blossoms were in fact patches of fur. But by that point, one would have been pounced on by the assassin.

Arach gently moved forward, the grass parting from her form as she mocked stalking a target, and realised that once she was gone from the patch of pink flowers she stuck out too much- even with her shadowed back end. She sighed, stood, nd moved back to the flowers, crouching as low as possible, and staying still. In the grass nearby a nine and a half foot long mamba stretched out, relieved for a while to not be wrapped around his spider queens neck. Arach continued her work, staying silent all but for her sighs of failure.

The Snow Dragon

He walked from the Cove into neutral territory. Into territory he was unfamiliar with so his ears twisted on top of his head as he would let fiery jewels watch around him. Large dark paws carried his white form along the flat plains of the field around him. It was unknown to him and so it was a territory that Drakon would explore and let anyone else know about it. Perhaps he could bring his wife here as a date night away from the children that would take their days away without realizing it. But he was unaware that a long lost sister was near by.

The grass seemed to shift in a way that wasn't from the gentle breeze, and the dark masked woman just barely poked up her head with her ears flattened, the frame of a lion approaching. Her heart beat a bit faster as she ducked back down, not quite taking the time to make out just who it was, and began to think of how to reveal herself without seeming like an aggressor. Slowly, she lifted her head back up to see the pale male watching the fireflies- and her breath caught in her throat.

Drakon..... It had been too long, and their last meeting had been painful at best.... Would he even want to see her? Slowly, Arachnae stood, and let out a shaky breath. "Drakon....?" She wasn't sure what else to say, but she began to approach, stopping only for a moment as Rawkshi made it clear he wanted up, and stood a few feet away, a nervous smile on her maw.

The Snow Dragon

There were many things that Drakon would expect in the fields but seeing his sister was not one of them. Something moved and it caused his attention to move from his daze towards that location which also caused him to stop in his tracks. Ears twisted in his manes as he would glance over to the familiar patch of fur that caught his attention. "Arach?" His voice showed the confusion. The concern. Even though they had a fallout she was still his sister and he worried about her.

Happiness spread through her as he recognised her. It had been too long, and she was too overjoyed to not be met with hostility from her stupidity previously. She surged forward with a smile on her maw, pressing her head beneath his chin with a rough purr. "I thought I wouldn't find you..... It all happened too fast." She said. The rogues- and she hadn't been thete with them....

She shook the violent beasts form her mind and stepped back, her tail stub flicking side to side in excitement, and then slowly stopped. Her face fell a bit, anf she looked at her paws. "Im so sorry..... I was so stupid to do what I did."

Drakon would let her press herself up into his chin and would gently purr at her for a few seconds before moving backwards to get a good look at her. She didn't seem like she was hurt. At least not physically. And then it changed from the rogues to what had happened before and he blinked at her. Ears twitched and flattened on his head before he would sigh. "I forgive you but it isn't me you need to be apologizing too." He would recommend to her. Drakon didn't know how Hecuba would do, especially after having their children so soon. It was a bit nerve racking honestly.

Arachnae flattened her pointed ears against her head with a sigh to his answer. She knew he was nothing less than right- she had been stupid to do anything at all. After all, even though Hecuba had left scars beneath her rose fur, she hadn't did anything wrong. She was just being a queen. "I know." With a determined look, she returned her red and blue gaze to his fiery one, "I promise I will do what is right...." With a grin, she sat back on her haunches. "So, what's life like for you now? Are you a king again?" Arachnae asked. "How's Ramses and the girls?"

Ears twisted as she seemed to sigh and agree with him. When it had all happened, Drakon had stood by and let his wife - and Queen - do what she knew was right. It was her duty as Queen to put other's in their place when he could not and was what she had done. "I'm holding you to that promise." He would bluntly state before fiery jewels watched his sister sit down as question began to hit his ears. "No I'm not King, I've actually been taking it easy since my revival." That wasn't entirely true but right now he was doing just that. "Ram is alright, the girls.. I don't know. I haven't seen them, they aren't too happy with me anyways." He would state bluntly.

The snake around her neck began to wriggle uncomfortablely, and Arach turned her head to see half the massive body length of the mamba risen up, staring at the flashing heat in the air. With a lifted brow, the rose woman turned her attention back to her brother. "Well, perhaps its best to take a break after..... Everything that happened." She stated. The rogues..... There were so many of them.

Something about his words told her to drop the subject, and with a sheepish smile she turned her head, pointed ear flicking nervously. "Uh..... Well... Have you found a home for yourself yet?"

"It is." He would mention though it was a slight answer compared to what he would've said if he didn't want the subject to be forgotten. It was something he tried to forget on a daily basis and though he had nightmares from it, that was not something he could do. "I have. I reside in the Cove with Hecuba and our children." He would admit. "You are more than welcomed to join us if you would like too." He would offer, knowing that he could accept her as a pride member due to his rank as Gentry.
