Personality

A gentle woman, from the day life was breathed into her and likely until the day she dies. She’s not much of a spitfire, honestly, just defensive of her wife and child; she’s not the sort to throw herself into danger headlong, because she wants to be there for them, but she is the type to go all out when she’s doing something for either or both of them.

An artist, in the loosest sense. She knows what would be pretty, and she knows where it should go, but mostly her skills are used on things for Reed or her mate. To Mirielle, skill is nothing if she doesn’t have anyone to share it with. That being said, she is a medic, first and foremost- she’s always done things for others, and now is no exception. Deep down, Mirielle is not sure she can do things that wouldn’t serve anyone else. Which, deep down, she doesn’t mind- the most she asks for, in return, is time to herself sometimes. She likes seeing others happy.

Mirielle, in the most wholesome sense, is charming. She doesn’t do it to get others to let their guards down- although she does like it, when they do that- but mostly out of a sense of wanting friends. And, to some extent, protection- she’s not naive, and she knows if she has enough close friends, she can easily turn it into a witch hunt should someone bother her, her wife, or her child. She’s also pushed by an urge to learn more, constantly, whether it be the secrets of others or just general knowledge. A younger, more knowledge-thirsty Mirielle wished she could learn everything one day; while she’s sure it won’t happen, now, she’s still young. She can still learn enough.

She’s got a bit of a bleeding heart, and a desire to help anyone and everyone she comes across that needs it, but otherwise she’s very much a more passive woman. When it comes to herself, she tolerates and forgives too much; with those she loves and trusts, she’s not afraid to set boundaries, but otherwise they’re nonexistent. She’s a softspoken woman, anyways, and tiny; she knows better than to risk someone else’s wrath in a fight she likely could not win.

She is, also, a perfectionist; especially should things be important to her. If it isn’t exactly how she imagined it, or better, chances are she’ll go back and redo it, over and over, until it meets her standards.

Rp Sample

Days. They had days, before their wedding, and Mirielle wanted it to be perfect. It was stressful, honestly, in the best possible way. Sure, there was so much she’d have to worry about now; but, once it was all over, she’d have the life she wanted with the love of her life. It all felt like a dream.

If she ignored the very real frustration that the flowers she had in mind weren’t going anywhere she had planned. It was either that, or they looked wrong, not like she had in mind. A frustrated huff, all she was willing to give away her anger, escaped her through her nose as she reached for the specific flower that was throwing everything off.

The stem was bent.

Not much, but enough to be noticeable once she singled it out. Enough to throw off an otherwise perfect setting- she’d have to check the others, and then hunt down replacements. It was tiring. She was tired. Reed deserved nothing but the best, though, and Mirielle was determined to make sure she got it.

The idea of her wife-to-be perking up when she saw what Mirielle had done was enough to make her feel a little less exhausted.

Other notes
- Tiny. Not extra small, obviously, but close to it.
- Used to deaf family, so falling into rhythm with how Reed communicates was easy for her.

Erudite / Medic

Personality:
A bubbly, outgoing woman. She's one to befriend a rock if you give her enough time. Rarely if ever angry, unless she hears you talking shit about her wife and/or kid, in which case listen she probably knows all your secrets and she'll use them against you. Which is a shame because she's utterly selfless for those she cares about, or those who she thinks just need a little help.

She's not a fighter, mostly because she doesn't much see the point in it and she much prefers to use her brain and words than her claws and teeth. While she understands that sometimes you have to fight for what you want, or to protect yourself, she'd prefer not to if at all possible.

Given that her wife is deaf, she's learned quite a bit about how to communicate with body language and gesture. She's almost better at this now than communicating verbally, and tends to trust what she sees more than what she's told because she knows all too well how easy it is to be lied to.

Sample:
She had a week until their anniversary, but she could have had a month and she'd still have been nervous about it, because everything had to be just perfect and as anyone knew, perfect was a hard thing to come by. And yes, she was aware that Reed would probably be delighted with whatever she managed to put together, but that wasn't the point.

At the moment, she was out attempting to hunt down some lovely soft things for their den so they could be more comfortable, and to try to find some of Reed's favorite foods in the meantime. That was the harder part, for it would be better to get them closer to the actual date of their anniversary so they'd be fresher, but also the closer it got the more there was a chance she'd fail the hunt and have nothing to show for it. Well, she could figure this out. She had the brains for this, she just had to put them to use.

It occurred to her that Finn could also likely help and might have some ideas, though obviously she couldn't help with hunting due to her age. Yes, that was a good idea. She'd probably love being able to help out too, come to think of it. Now with an even better plan, Mirelle rose and went looking for their daughter to see what she thought.
