Helah looked between them all, and her bobbed tail twitched with irritation of being surrounded by children. She rolled her shoulders, and cast an easy look to the male as he spoke- wanting a place that's comfy? Yeah, that wasn't the Bluffs. She was almost glad, because that meant she could leave- get away from the males, and go on about her day.

"The Bluffs... isn't a comfy home. We're one of the strongest for a reason. Look us up if comfy grows old to you." She says bluntly. "I'll leave you in the company of these males, then." She says, dismissively- turning away on her heels neatly, to get on with the next.

Sarcasm bites the air but isn't offputting to the young Frei. Bronzed paws shift, toying with the ground beneath them as he waits for @Karma's retort to continue. He liked this youth, wanted him to join his pride. Eyes crept back to @Bruno ♔ as their conversation continued. Your best friend, duh, he cuts off for a moment before grinning widely, that's me. (In case the curly-haired youth hadn't caught on to his ploy yet.)

Between all the banter @Helah just couldn't hang. Molten eyes followed the multi-colored woman out, intrigued by the dismissive attitude. Brows raised at the retreating backside before he refocused, coming back to Karma and Bruno.

Ah well you don't have to work so hard in Lorien. Shoulders half-shrugged. It was true, the most he did was catch some rays and take a snooze. Sometimes he removed a thorn or two from a sore paw; mostly, he lounged, enjoying his time at a leisurely pace. Unless you want to. Others certainly did more than him. Some of his siblings liked fighting and often found themselves in positions they shouldn't. Not him though, he was a good kid.

Nice as Bruno seemed, Karma wasn't that excited about a 'large' pride. He'd spent the majority of his short life in the company of a maximum two others. The woman who'd birthed him, and his brother. Since arriving in the lands, he'd skirted the outer edges of local society, and wasn't quite ready to jump feet-first into the deep end. So to speak.

Any comment he might have made died on his tongue, however, at @Helah's blunt dismissal. The fur along his spine bristled, lips pressing into a tight line of a frown. Tail thumped once, displeased, against the sand, and he scoffed at her retreating back, "Yeah, well, what idiot picks a hard life on purpose anyway." He didn't expect an answer. Fuck her. His life had been hard enough already, didn't he deserve a cushy place to crash for a while?

His light mood had been dampened by the lioness, but his frown faded and his fur settled as @Hendrix spoke up again. He found himself nodding, and rising to his paws, "Yeah, alright, sounds cool." Glancing to @Bruno ♔, he managed a flash a smile again, "Thanks for the invite, but I'm not really up for a crowd right now, y'know?" Just let him ease into the chaos of proper lion society, please, he'd spent far too long as a nomadic rogue to know what he was doing here.

Attention shifted back to Hendrix, and he'd move forward, as if he'd find the pride himself unless the guy came along with him, "C'mon," tall dark and princely, "y'gonna take me home, or what?" His grin came again, a note of something even Karma himself didn't understand yet in the expression, as he passed by the other boy.

Vehemence towards Helah's retreating backside had left @Karma's lips, to which he stood privy to the show. Truth oozed from his new friend's lips about choosing to live a hard life. Nobody would choose a hard life, that would be absurd. "Shucks, don't worry about her." Lips curled in a smile as he shrugged off the heated woman's words, more impressed by her backside than anything.

Excitement thrummed through his body as the other yearling spoke. Yes! He'd managed to sway someone into Lorien Plains. Across the bronze lined face grew a wide grin, looking at @Bruno ♔ one last time as he considered the other yearling. "Guess I'll see you around." Even if they hadn't interacted much he'd liked the mireling, something about being able to jest with someone was just so fun. Kind of like picking on Anni or Vera, but less sibling-like.

The pale yearling had slipped past him, causing him to turn to follow, though really to lead the other to their home. "Yeah, follow me. Maybe we'll have time to catch some rays before the sun goes down." Legs pumped in an excited gait, hoping the other boy would keep up, though of course he'd slow down if need be. He was thrilled to have someone new to show the best sunning spots to. /exit
