Behind her were the looming figures of heaven-touching apexes that were now not only drenched in brilliant light from the morning rays but now also sparkling from the heavenly dews. Spikes of thin light impaled these giants in a bristling, moving line that if her eyes were open it would cause a squint. Swaddled around these apexes were necklaces of powdery firm snow. One could imagine that the air became arctic cold as they drew closer to them. The unmistakable scent of a seasonal change was heavy on the air that she breathed. The small wavering sounds of the changing winds that drew the rain to sway across the open landscape and dance away to some other territory that needed its thirst quenched causes her to stir her eyes open.
The landscape that was dry upon her arrival was now moist as her graceful toes calmly kneads into the earth below. ' I am here to hold you.. ' her melodic voice rang inside her head again. She spoke as if some divine creature, divine being could hear her as she nearly worshiped the ground she sat upon so gracefully. She could spend all day here, just witnessing the earth in its glory. And thus she would. Even as the rainfall had returned to where she had sat - she raises up with her face welcoming the new tiny springs of water that landed on her. Moments later her body moves on its own, nearly possessed one might say, as she wandered this area for awhile. Her entire body screamed as if she was one with nature, one with the world she was born into. After all that was what she was , one with all.
Hours passed of her dancing, frilling her body across the open landscape as if she was the wind itself. Finding what solace she could in everything this territory held for her to whisper her thanks for their beginnings and endings. The sun was the highest in the sky it could be. She would pause in her delight to take a drink from the small rainfall pools that littered the location. Crisp and fresh to her taste buds. A delectable delight to drink in, the taste was unlike any other source of water but not because of the location she was in, but because it came from the heavens themselves. Bi-colored orbs dance with a new found shimmer, time to continue her embarkment across the borderlands, the lithe woman moved in ease, again as if she was the wind itself trying to find a new land - a new spot - to rest and learn its patterns before moving again.
The sun starts to set, the once azure and cyan sky was now turning into a brilliance of golds, auburns, creams and dark plums. She found herself dancing upon a wilted tree of old, old due to its leaning nature and dark patterned grooves on its bark. This very tree looked as if lightning were a physical object, this would be it, the branches were etched and streamed out from its leaning trunk until the ends were barely noticeable from where she stood under it. Three steps back and to the right, the sun gloriously breaks himself between each of these bolted branches in shades of bonfire reds and subflare golds, rays of peaking blinding white gleam from the outsides and it startles her a moment before squinting to see past the branches of lightning bolts. But the sun in all his glory is too powerful to look at, and only seconds later is she forced to look away and dip her graceful approval to the Sun god himself, then and only then does the rays of shimmering splendor seem to wither and die just out of reach.
The sun was setting and it left a void within her as she witnessed this. Even though it was not her first time seeing a sunset nor a sunrise for that matter, it always made her feel as though she was watching a dear friend leave and walk away unsure of what tomorrow would bring for her and that friend. Her heart clenches inside her chest, toes dug into the moistened soils before realizing she was leaning on her toes to watch as the sun slowly disappeared before the earth and seemed to be swallowed up by it. She releases a heavy sigh she had no clue she was withholding, her body posture fixes and almost with a heavy displeasure does she look away from where the sun was once moments before. Sunspots in her eyes remained for the next couple of blinks, the hollow dark circle in her vision was not a displeasure to her, no, she welcomed the small momentary blindness that he gave upon her looking at his beauty. She embarks away from the wilted tree, heavy heart but her eyes shinned brighter as the sky grew dark. A new beauty would arise soon, one that was of her favorite pass times. The thousands of flittering gas filled dots would speckle the heavens, doorways she called them, romantic doorways to another 'beyond'.
The air started to chill upon her back as she walked further into the land beyond, She had by now nearly explored the whole location. But something was drawing her attention away from the earth herself, something in the distance not far off. ' breath through me...we'll keep the stars a light. ' she ushers herself to stand still, yet again embracing the world around her. She had ignored this distant blob of someone or something and focused on her mystical doorways above. ' I've got you..' melodic voice thrills from the emptiness of her mind. Her lips bubble and purse to allow a breath of hot air to escape her lungs, chest rolled gently as she took another deeper breath. This time she could taste the creature off in the dimly lit nightscape of the borders. But she did not draw them any attention, after all, the doors were gracing her right now and she whispered a sweet song for them to dance and swing to in this cold lonely night.
