There had been no time for her to really think between moving to the Mire then to the Bluffs, she had been gathered in a hurry, and hadn't really gotten the chance to ask why Tripfire was moving them again. Her paws were swollen, and so she had immediately retreated into a den when they arrived and curled up. She awoke hours later to pain racking her entire pelvic area and legs, it felt as if electricity were shooting down her muscles as they contracted.

The lioness gasped and gritted her teeth, panting as she labored, finally after what felt like hours, a small, slick cub was born, Pyra wanted to pause and look at it, but instincts drive her to clean the mewling thing, so she made sure it was dry and suckling before another contraction came. It wasn't too long after the first, a second cub was born, she cleaned it and nudged it next to it's sibling then she waited, after she was sure there were no more, she laid her head down next to the tiny cubs and watched them.

Her eyes were bright with love and protectiveness, her body curled around them protectively, after a moment alone with them, she lifted her head and called for Beñat and her husband.

They are technically Wolfbron so disregard the rogue status "**Beñat, collect quickly, maman will need more bedding," the russet man commanded his preteen son, while he shuffled some foilage together from his old den. He hated having to move them so quickly, but he did not dare disobey Amara. She wanted him, and them, home and to help grow the family. Tripfire was not aware that he was valued enough to bring in more worth to the family. A call let out and he stopped to stare in the direction. Pyracantha. "grab what you can Beni, it's time!" he called before moving at a run with the foilage he had gathered in his jaws. Slowing down near the den he looked to Beñat and chuffed for him to wait a moment before entering the den. If the worst had happened he would shield Beñat from it. dropping the foilage near the back of the den he was quick to come inspect Pyracantha. Nostrils flaring at the scent of blood, and life. "Mon amour, I am sorry, I should have been here, he apologized gently while pressing his head gently to hers. Once confident she wasn't in danger, he moved to curl behind her offering her his form as body heat. A proud smile curling on his maw while he let his head come across her stomach to view their new children. "They have your beauty mon amour," he praised her with a warm deep tone, one of affection and pride. A sneeze outside the den made him tense briefly before he remembered... he called for him to enter the den and when he did Tripfire felt at peace. His family was home, and so was he. This was what he craved so deeply. "talk"

They had been moved so quickly he hadn't even the chance to enjoy the Mire. Beñat was tired from the journey but Papa insisted that they help and gather some foilage for maman. She had gotten very big, maybe the cubs would be giants! hah! he could ride on their backs! Quickly he collected the leaves amd stuff from this den, apparently it had been Papas when he first lived here. He mentioned to be extra polite to the lions and lionesses here, as they were extended family but not fond of being touched. Shame, cuddles were great!

Humming softly while he went about his task a call ringing out made him stop. Was that--? Yup, it was time! Tripfire was bounding ahead and Beñat was doing his best to keep up with his long strides. Sliding down a bit of a slope he sat beside the den panting nodding when Tripfire asked him to wait. That was fine, he had a stitch in his side. Lying down he listened and waited for invitation, but he had swished his tail in impatience and it kicked up dust around him. Which in turn, triggered a sneeze. It was the sneeze that helped Tripfire come to a decision. Excited he entered the den and immediately went to lick Pyracantha's cheek happily, "Maman! you ok? we found you more soft things!" he chirped happily before moving to inspect the cubs with a look of amazement. They were so small!

The lioness lifted her head when Tripfire chuffed at Beñat, she was glad he had taken to their adopted son and became such a good father, as he appeared in the dens opening, she gently shushed him, giving him a warm smile and nuzzling his cheek softly, It is alright, my love. She dismisses his apologies with a gently lick on his cheek before she feels him move around and curl up behind her, she gently repositions to allow him a better look at the two cubs.

A sneeze outside the den causes Pyra to smile and gently call out to Beñat, smiling warmly when he appears seconds later, the move from the Mire to the Bluffs had taken so much of their time, she would have to spend some time with the child after the cubs got a bit bigger so she could leave the den. She was greeted with an excited kiss to the cheek causing her to giggle and use her paw to reach out and pull him closer to her, nuzzling the brown cub lovingly, Thank you so much Beñat, yes, my love, I'm alright. She thanked him for the foliage and licked his forehead, grooming him a bit before nudging his cheek, Come, meet your siblings . She said quietly, nudging him towards the cubs at her stomach.

ooc: Pyracantha was quick to hush him, forgiving of his failures. She was patient and he tried his best to rival that the best he could. Though it was not his best quality and he could lean on her for support in that area. Smiling at how excited Beñat was he would hush his son gently so as to not disturb the suckling infants. Noticing one male and one girl, he chuckled though he briefly remembered the so called arrangement he had made with Magdalene. And a furious protectiveness rumbled in his chest at thought of someone even trying to lay a paw on her head. No, she was a Dieudonne-Talgrim and would remain so at her parents sides. "How does the name Mars fancy you for the boy mon amour?" he asked with a soft tone. A strong name for his first biological son. "talk"

Pyracantha he's felt his rumble through his chest pressed against her back, she turned gently to face him, a questioning gaze upon her face before he asked her a question and she smiled, missing softly, It suits him. How do you feel about Venus for her? She nuzzled the bright red cub, smiling at the dark abyss blue cap and shawl she displayed under a cloak of white. A perfect fixture of the both of them.


Pyracantha had not even thought of the deal with Magdalene, it slipped her mind completely, it had been easy to just make a deal and it would be followed through with, especially when you're in love and childless, but now that her daughter lay at her side, nursing and asleep, the deal would be a lot harder to updhold.

ooc: Feeling Beñat tuck himself beneath his mane thus behind Pyracantha's shoulders he gave a low rumble of happiness. This closeness of family, and warmth, it was what he craved all along. And may the gods have mercy on anyone who tried to take this from him. Tripfire smiled when she spoke their daughters name and he moved to gently nudge each child with his maw. "Mars and Venus Dieudonne,," he echoed with a soft murmur. It was Amara's stern voice of commanding him home to his family that made him reconsider the Dieudonne mantle. And he would wear it with a bit more pride than before. "Rest mon amour, we are safe and home" he gently coaxed her with a nuzzle to her cheek. Moving carefully so he could provide body heat to his wife and newborns, and even Beñat. exit through sleep?

She smiled warmly as Tripfire spoke proudly, their children's names strong on his lips, she felt Beñat wiggle in behind her shoulder blades, this bringing them all together
This was what she had spent her whole life wishing for when she was a small cub growing up, training to be the perfect mother and wife, this is what she had wanted.

The cubs squirming at her side began to settle down, being pulled into sleep by their warm full bellies, and once sure they were sleeping, the calico lioness laid her head down next to them and she herself was pulled into the unconscious realm, her chest rising and falling with each breath.

Amara wasn't aware when she demanded that @Tripfire bring his wife here that she was ready to give birth. It wasn't a question she was looking to ask but had it been mentioned she would have likely allowed the female to remain in the Mire until the cubs were able to be moved. Blame could be placed on her or the new father but Amara wasn't the kind to place blame on herself. The scents and sounds of birthing wasn't something that had happened within the Bluffs in a long time. She made her way and watched from a distance as Tripfire and an unknown youth busy around before disappearing into the den. Her ears flick around as soft whispers fade into the winds. She slips closer to the den and overhears the naming of the cubs, not normal names that she would have thought would be picked but she didn't know this lioness or what background she came from. Maybe Tripfire was trying to be respectful of her wishes as well. *They will earn their name before they use it. Her french words float into the den for Tripfire's ears as a reminder that their surname wasn't handed out. It was earned. Blood or not. She sat outside their den, her gaze sweeping over the Bluffs before she chuffed for the family to come. They had new members to welcome into the world and a new female to get used to. Amara wasn't aware that the pair were drifting off to sleep, nor would she have cared.

ooc: There was very few things that could wake him from a drifting slumber, but the scent of his aunt and her voice echoing in the den was enough to have his yellow eyes flash open. He nuzzled Pyracantha to reassure her to rest, she was tired from the move and the birth. She need not worry, she was safe to sleep. A soft nuzzle went to Beñat as well who had passed out across his front legs. "of course, as is tradition," he agreed with a nod of his head which lay across his wifes stomach. "The other cub is Beñat, we found him rushing into the battlefield during a pride challenge. We took him in," he announced the adoption of Beñat with a meaningful gaze sent to Amara, if the cub was a liability he would not have bothered. ""He is a faster learner than I was," he added with a low chuckle, reassuring Amara that Beñat was not the wild spark like Tripfire had been in his youth. "talk"
