Faust knew that the brown furred serpent tended to travel as she pleased, but he also knew that she had her frequent haunts.

It hadn't been since his challenge that he had spotted her, but things had been so busy that actually seeking out Snake had taken a back seat. Until now that was. Because he had a problem, one that in all of his divine wisdom he did not know how to solve.

What constituted a healthy child? He didn't know enough about caring for cubs to judge more than the fact the the boy was underweight and likely far too young to have been separated from a maternal figure. Was he even weaned? The Archangel had tried feeding it a mouthful of meat that he'd prechewed into bite sized bits, as to the success of that...

The sun was due to set soon enough, hopefully making his summons easier to answer than if it requires travel over hot sands. It was now or never.

Faust released a few low roars over the sands from his position near the base of the bluffs, casting his voice out to try his luck at summoning his slithery friend to see what he'd found.

give a smile to the patient

Snake found herself trekking along the reddened earth of the rougher desert more often than she would like to admit. She had taken an odd fascination with the desolate area, as well as the creatures that dared to live within it. They were… Resilient. Something she wished to mimic herself. She liked to observe their ways of life and take note for herself in her own travels. This day, however, was a day she focused upon the plant life that dwelled within this harsh environment. 

She brushed her paw gingerly along the delicate petals of a yellow flower, its uneven bushel swaying in the faintest breeze that washed over the sands. The serpent was just about ready to pluck her prize when suddenly she was jolted from her medicinal examination. A string of loud, deep roars floated into the air around her. She shot up to her full height, her ears perked and scanning the empty space. Her first instinct was to take the plant and run, but a second thought crossed her mind. 

She knew that voice.

Snake knew just who it was calling her. Faust. The newly named king of the bluffs. Why was he calling her? Sure he knew her, but some part of her believed that since he was royalty now, that her presence was no longer desired. If it was desired to even begin with. Still, if the curly maned angel truly was calling to her, it would be best to not keep him waiting any longer than necessary. The medic still uprooted the flower before cantering off and towards the sound's source. It wasn't long before she came upon his visage, his mane flowing in the gentle breeze. 

Snake wagged her tail to him before trotting down the small dip between them. Scrabbling her way up the slightly steeper side, the rogue stood beside the crown. She smiled past her herbs to him. Even in his common stoicism, he seemed to be much more approachable than he had come the challenge itself. But still, the meaning of this meeting was lost on the girl. She cocked her head to the side, her eyebrow raised in question. She could only hope she wasn't needed to tend to any sort of wound. Her hazel eyes scanned his body carefully, her nose close to his form. It was only during her inspection that she noticed a significantly smaller set of paws stood just behind the colossal.

Her eyes widened.

Another new place, equally as exciting as the last. Now that he could see it, explore it, the world outside the dark cave in which he'd been born was fascinating; he was already beginning to forget the endless dark in the wake of all the new sights and smells and other sensations he'd been exposed to. Like meat - which was interesting, but he didn't quite know what to do with it yet.

Once they stopped, and the big guy started roaring for reasons that remained a mystery to the pale boy who kept himself occupied by making little pawprints in the dust in a pattern that only made sense to him.

Soon, though, they were joined by a darker figure and curiosity won out over the entertainment he was providing himself. Peering around @Faust's leg, the child offered a bright and curious grin to @Snake, "Hi! Who you?"

He wasn't sure if she would have remained close enough to hear his call, but here she was again, slithering out from the dust of the badlands.

Snake was a mysterious creature but she seemed to know about herbs and healing, more than he did. There was the basics but mostly it was the kind of plant that hurt that he knew most about. As of yet, he wanted to keep the young boy alive so that was out.

There was a bit of wonderment from both other parties as Snake and Ghost looked at each other in curiosity, the boy even speaking up to ask who she was.

"That is Snake," He began as he lifted his paw further to reveal the tiny scrap. "I've come to ask her to look over you, to make sure you're healthy." The last part may have been spoken to Ghost but his eyes were on the wandering healer. It wasn't quite a question, but wasn't quite a command either. So he waited for her reaction, cruor eyes glinting in wait.
