Despite how avidly wild her brain and body worked, Renly had not visited a lot of places in her homeland. Vermeda and the Summit obviously had gotten some great adventures but the neutral territories were still quite unexplored. More or less because she was a little intimidated by the lions that might be out there in the beyond but being an adult and having all the grief swallow her in the Summit, she wasn't all that keen to stay in one spot. So she ventured south until her paws began to drift towards the coast and then even further than that. She had been away from the Summit for day or two, exploring and keeping her mind from sinking that she couldn't make heads or tails of where she had actually ended up. @Caillen

After thoroughly working on the prides stores and making sure it was clean and filled up, she finally had the time to do other things. She never left her duties neglected, not even with the desire to do something else. That was why she would only do upon completion of each and every single one of them. She couldn't fight like the rest, so this was her way to contribute in other ways, more fitting for her small size.

She went to the neighboring Anidar Jungle, which often brought interest in her. Well what else didn't do? She began exploring, looking for anything to catch her eyes. And there she did! Someone was there. A lioness if pretty colors she had to admit! She approached with her friendly demeanor.

"Hi hi! What are chu doin'?" She asked smiling brightly.

The pride scents that covered this place were curious. While not familiar with all of them, she could hazard a guess that the two most prominent scents were prides that were nearby. A murkier and heavier scent while the other was a lot more pine-scented -- which likely meant the Rainforest was nearby and the swamp, too. That scent alone was enough to make her a little bit more cautious than her usual and with her right to be so.

Eyes moved quickly to spot a striped lioness headed her way with a jovial turn on her lips as she inquired without restraint on what it was she was doing. Renly stood still for a moment as though searching for any other lion to come out with @Caillen. Fear that she wouldn't be alone but instead outnumbered. It went without saying that this lion was one of the Ecrosia Mire members. One that was either super friendly or appearing to be friendly to get somewhere with an enemy. The scent was pungent and obvious that there was no other conclusion that she could draw from it other than that she held a fair bit of lavender with it. Assuming that it was there to cover the sticky scent of a swamp.

I am... avoiding things. Renly tried to lie. Tried to find something that she could say that she was doing in an effort to non-verbally make the woman leave and yet, she'd never been very fond of lying to someone no matter who they were.

+10 - Observe and study a new scent

She was kind of aware of the tensions her pride often had with others, she knew it well enough. But she couldn't stop her friendly nature, she couldnt stop her love to make friends and have fun with someone. She sometimes didn't understand nor knew about the issues that made her pride not liked by many out here. Maybe she ignored it and was just her. Like any other young lion looking for finding herself and in the future. She took a seat, flopping her butt into the humid soil of the jungle. Keeping still a respectful distance from her. Pointy ears forward and around. Un afraid, confident. "Everything okay?" Her face took a concerned expression, genuine, she always let here emotions go as they came, no filters.

"You are like a sunset!" She wasnt used to interact with others out of the Mire. It was hard but she wanted to make others feel better even if it wasnt her right to enter her nose in other's affairs.

Renly felt overly cautious as she regarded the striped woman that seemed to have come out from the swamps. Terrified that she could easily be tricked into danger and yet, she felt the lure of friendliness. No, she answered blankly as her shoulders rolled forward and she hung her head a little, no, not really. But I don't really wanna talk about it. Renly thought to tack on a if that's alright with you to not force me to talk about it but couldn't quite bring herself to be that rude. Regardless of affiliation, Renly couldn't be mean to someone that she'd never seen do a damn thing against her or her family specifically.

Oh, she said quietly and her head lifted with the compliment. Feeling her cheeks tighten as her expression tried on a smile. A smile that hadn't really been witnessed in a few days thanks to her somber news of those gone from this plane. Th-thank you. Your ears are really neat, because it was nice and pleasant to give a compliment when you get one. At least this way it made her feel less spotlighted.

I am Renly Valour, a royalty of Illyria Summit. Who're you? Because Renly was nothing if not an ambassador for the pride that she resided within and it was her duty to know others from the prides regardless of affiliation. Hopefully @Caillen would be just as foreward with a name and rank.

Caillen quickly nodded to the woman's wish to not talk about it. It was alright, and like that she was ready to live onto another topic. She never liked to make others feel bad, she liked to do the opposite. One of the few things she could do, without worrying about her size. Something many saw as bad, as a sign of weakness. But both hunting and attempting to make others moods get better made her feel happier.

She giggled at the girls response. Feeling warmth on her own cheeks. "Oh, that's so cool! So you are a princess!! I like it." She said smiling brightly.

She stretched her toes over the soil, feeling the grass, the soil between them. It felt so good. "Grateful to meet you @Renly! I am Caillen, Caillen Armour Svend. A Barony to Ecrosia Mire!" She said happily.

"What do you like to do?" Curious and we'll hearted as she was.

Even though she most often times felt like being royalty was over rated, for @Caillen to confidently and kindly support it made the title seem less negative. Being royalty was something that she had never truly earned like most lions had to do for a significant rank. Renly had just been lucky enough to come out of a lion that had worked for their rank. Funny how that worked. Thanks, was her response in an effort to not say "thank you" too much but to still show gratitude for her kindness.

As for things that she enjoyed doing, well, it was something that she had to take a second to really put a few words into. She knew a vague idea but didn't want to sound like a boring individual. I enjoy hunting for the pride. Keeping them sustained so that no one goes hungry. Always checking the pride caches and making sure none of them got dangerously low. She would hate for someone to wake up for a midnight snack and find out they would have to travel to another cache, or worse, go get a snack themselves when they were drowsy. And I enjoy meeting new folks and true to be coat, I enjoy watching a new sunset... or sunrise. Both are lovely. Sunsets just often had the prettiest colors and it meant it was time for other more nighttime animals to come out for their day.

The girl could tell she was liking the sunset lioness quite a bit, she seemed interesting and Caillen adored to meet new lions whenever she had the chance. Even if like in this specific moment she simply stumbled upon them. Each lion had their story, and hearing tales were just as fun as hunting, it was just very intriguing to hear how someone's life was about, to lurk in existence beyond her own.

And as she heard Renly's answers, she felt includible happy to have someone with similar hobbies as her. "I do that as well! I am always hunting and making sure my family and friends won't be hungry! I have been hunting since I was young, a task I was trusted with as I dont have the size to do anything else." She was starting to accept that but it still made her feel bad. But not now that she had found a possible friend. Who knew?

"I do see sunsets as pretty things too, and looking at you, you are like a walking one!" She couldn't hold her tongue, she often times if not always spoke what was on her mind at the moment. Spontaneous as she came to this world.

This strange feeling that she had now was confusing. It shouldn't be but her whole life she had been the closest with her littermates but she had never really had anyone else near to her own age or even in another pride to share company with. Especially not one that had near to the same interests and even if she did smell terribly of the Ecrosia pride, it was easy to ignore. Well, socially and mentally that is. Physically it was probably the most pungent scent that she had come across. Not one that she wanted permanently on her fur any time soon. She would happily take the Brook or the snow and pine of the Summit.

That's not true. She immediately remarked, feeling that @Caillen was selling herself short and who knows for how long? You can do anything that a giant can do. Size was no limitation, at least to Renly who had seen small lions and large lions. Ones of every scale. Just because you're not as big as a mountain doesn't mean you're limited. Just means you're quicker than you are stronger. Faster, more clever.. Honestly she could go on for a lot longer about how wrong the woman was that her size didn't allow her to do much else. There was plenty, she just had to find her own way to do them.

I like the thought of that. She muses, a half-grin sported on the right side of her face. A sunset to make everyone's troubles disappear if only for a moment or two. Though, she certainly didn't mean it in a vain way but more in the hopes that if anything she wanted to be just a moment where someone could think of something other than their troubles.
