His pelt was covered in the mud of the Mire. Clinging to the grey tinderals of his under belly. The mud was dried on his legs, hiding the freckles that clung to his wrists ( though they tried their hardest to spring through ) his slightly longer claws digging into the different terrain as he went from mud, to soil to now black sand. The transition caused him to stop for a moment and look around him. He had never ( in his travels ) seen such a thing. He wondered where it came from. Why did the sand turn black instead of staying that washed out brown. It was a curious thing but not a question he was seeking an answer to.

Moving from the edge and onto the sand, feeling the texture different from where he had just come from. His claws digging into the sand and leaving behind the markings of a demon. Blood jewels looked around, watching the waves that came towards him ( hunger in their wake; fingers reaching for him ) and the land he was against. The weather wasn't so bad here, but still treacherous so Adeodatus kept close to rock ledge in case he needed a quick get away.

Gabrielle spotted the grayish form of her mate, the white of his mane was standing out against the black sand, she felt her heart leap just a little bit, being in different prices meant she had to en separated from him somedays and she was not fond of it. He may not be the softest of mates, but she found comfort in his dangerous energy. She was coming from the opposite way, her slim form standing out against the rock ledges.

Her head lifted as she came closer, pawsteps quickening before she made contact with him, running her head under his "Adeodatus..." His name rolled off her tongue and she breathed in his scent, her sunrise palette fur Was a nice contrast against his grays, whites, and blacks, magenta doe eyes peered up at him.

Ah yes, Gabrielle. The woman had been on his mind lately, though not suffocating so. He enjoyed her company. Though he enjoyed it more so that she was a clean slate, someone that ( perhaps ) if taught right could make the world crumble at her feet. She had potential to draw out her own demons but she just needed a shove and oh was Adeodatus going to be the one to shove her right off the cliff towards those demons. Compared to the black background she was a spark against it. Ears twisting and bloody jewels noticed her sunrise figure before his name echoed into his ear drums and her perfume wrapped around his senses. Her head went beneath his but it was his jaws that met her fur with harsh ( yet tender ) kisses. He would never be the man who was soft to his wives. He was not raised to be soft, but a savage at heart and if she grew to hate that man; well, she was shit out of luck. Floarea soarelui, what are you doing here? In time, she would not be in another pride, but for now she must be patient.

Gabrielle purred as her body made contact with him, already since he'd claimed her as his mate she had carried herself more confidently, she felt more confident, she carried herself like a queen because she believed her mate would be a king. Her heart thrummed in her ear and and she stay silent as he roughly nibbled her fur.

His roughness excited the usual innocent lioness and she relished in it,. "I missed you, my king." Her words were soft against his cheek as she nibbled his chin and trailed down his neck, she was softer and it some how worked with his roughness, her peach pink fur was a beautiful contrast against his grays and blacks and whites, "I come out here to clear my mind, what are you doing out here?"

Her affections caused sparks but Adeodatus was not an affection man. He would not be a hopeless romantic and if she was wanting such; she would be disappointed. He was a savage, blood thirsty and cold hearted. Perhaps eventually she would get to see a softness to his touches. To the nibbles her kissed along her body but not currently. Even her words ( I miss you ) were not returned. Oh yes, he missed her touch. Her sunrise Pelt brushed against his. The warmth it brought but those were not words spoken but actions given. Seeing what I can find for future references. So far there was nothing of value for him to see as they walked along the shoreline. But that didn't mean there wasn't anything there.

If his lack of romance affected Gabrielle, there was nothing shown, she stayed close as they walked together, the spray of the ocean giving her coat a shiny glisten, she shook it gently and looked at their surroundings, her magenta eyes watched the waves crash against rock.

Gabrielle nodded to his words and flicked an ear as the waves rolled back out with little to no noise,. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to help.." She offered, she was less intimidating looking, less likely to be seen as a threat, so her nosing around the different prides and such for information and signs of weakness wouldn't exactly be outright seen, she assumed atleast, she took a moment to decide on how to word her thoughts, "I don't think I'm too intimidating that others would outright see me as a threat... Or assume I would do anything. I could go around and scope out other places. " She glanced at him sideways.

She was catching onto his habits and personality it seemed. He didn't see a flicker of emotion cross her features; good. She was a fast learner though innocent and naive in some aspects but she was learning. However, it seemed she wanted to help and Adeodatus would glance over to the sunrise colored woman and listen to her words. That will be helpful. However, she also needed to know where she stood. However, eventually you will be joining me in wherever I join or conquer. Right now he was content with her being in Firnen until he decided to come and get her. And he would fight for her if that was what it cost.

Gabrielle listened to his words, a pit forming in her stomach, she hadn't thought about leaving Violarum, it hadn't even crossed her mind yet, she struggled with the thought, but kept her face clear of her true emotions. Of course had assumed she'd be with Adeodatus later, but she stupidly hadnt thought where Vio might be.


Eyes glancing down to her paws, before nodding softly, the lioness spoke softly, "I will follow you where you go." She knew as his mate, she would follow him, but she would steal away time for herself, going to see Violarum, he was her friend if nothing else. She was aware of his scent cloaking hers, and how that must anger her mate to have his mate covered in another's scent.

I will hold you to that promise. He would voice as he glanced around stopping as the wall before them came to a halt and he looked up it. There were tunnels here. Tunnels that could be used for many things. An ambush if he needed to form one. A small curl of a smirk formed at the corners of his jaws as he thought about it. However right now he needed to focus on one thing and that was gaining information on the prides and individuals that resided here. What do you know about these lands? She had been here longer than he has, maybe she knew more than he?

Gabrielle paused her movements as she looked at the tunnels, she sniffed at them, wondering what was inside, side eyeing her mate, she watched as he smirked and wondered what went through his head, the female hopped on her back legs and stretched her lean figure out, placing her front paws on a ledge that led into a tunnel and she peered inside, she could faintly here the squeaks of bats, but nothing else.

Looking down to Adeo, she listened to his words, and dropped gently back to the ground beside him. " I don't know too much. Violarum claimed me at the passage, and I have kind of stuck by his side since, I only over certain things, like Vaghan, a lion who's Vios Rival, trying for Obsidian Hollows, though I'm sure he lost." Her tail lashed through the air, she spoke of Violarum with pride, as he saved her, in her opinion.
