What an enigma he is, so very contradictory in the way he behaves as if nothing she says matters to him - and yet still, he persists in her company, prodding and prodding. It only makes her want to pry into him harder in turn, to peel back the striped hide so that she can truly see exactly what sort of beast lies within. And so, they remain caught in each other's pull, each seemingly unwilling to back down from...whatever this is.

She's entertaining, he says, which prompts Myra's eyebrow to arch even higher, her long tail lashing once in a sharp display of irritation. The huntress is hardly a circus animal, chained within a cage for the tiger's amusement. Entertaining...Is that truly the only reason that seems to keep him tethered here? "And you're infuriating." This too, is an honest statement, though there is hardly room to doubt the sincerity of it, with the roll of her eyes and the half-curl of her lip.

And then something finally shifts, the striped beast shifting to slink closer to her, while she watches with narrowed eyes and stiffened shoulders. Too stubborn to be intimidated into backing away even as her heart quickens (In fear? Unlikely. It feels far too...anticipatory, for that.) She waits - far more curious than she would ever admit out loud to see if there is anything of worth behind the tiger's words. She does so hate pretenders, after all, all bark and no bite.

His paw descends upon her, a warm, heavy weight against her spine, and the huntress barks out a laugh through the instinctive snarl, for she is familiar with a game like this, knows the way warmth blossoms beneath her skin, though she has not felt in quite some time. "What? Changed your mind about my looks, after all? Are all tigers so fickle?" Deftly, the huntress would drop her shoulder blades and shift to the far side, seeking to roll away from the larger beast's paw, though once escaped (if she escaped) she would not flee. Instead, she would move to face him, meeting his mismatched gaze with a sharp, fanged smirk, a challenge glittering in the cerulean depths of her eyes. Sometimes, fighting isn't so different, y'know. From your...other methods."

Perhaps Myra is willing to play such a 'game'...if @Asriel can prove he desires it badly enough.

His paw was heavy and as he attempted to push down on the tender tissue that shrouded her spine, and there is a sickening grin that seems to form on his features as their bodies make contact. Sparks of electric combined with a wanting for more seemed to fuel the striped tiger, and he wanted nothing more than to push harder against her golden skin. Her laugh does not take him by surprise: not when he had been so hypocritical just minutes before. He allows her to move away from his grip, and his mismatched gaze falls on hers as she stands to face him. His paw returns to the ground and his finds his salmon tongue gliding over his blackened lips. How dangerous it is, to play such a game with a beast such as this one. But Myra had always liked to take the challenging routes, the things that were riskier. Perhaps that is what lies at the core of her fascination with this tiger, what truly keeps her anchored in his presence just as he seems to be in hers. Knowing that this is far from the wisest choice and yet choosing to do it anyway, simply to prove that she can...is it really so different from the hunt?

She does not flinch when @Asriel steps forward, her smile when she looks up to meet his gaze a fanged, wicked thing. "Do you now?" She asks rhetorically, half-mocking, the space between them so narrow that he can likely feel the warm brush of her breath against his fur. "Perhaps I will." Her voice is little more than a whisper now, the tension between them tightening into a line so impossibly thin, the heat a burning thing beneath her skin...and then she springs away, darting past him with a beckoning sweep of her ivory tail.

"...If you want it badly enough." She pauses to toss the words over her shoulder, reptilian gaze locking with his in challenge. Will he follow her, on a merry chase weaving amidst the rocks? She does not know this place well, cannot anticipate where a dead end or a sheer edge might cut her off - he is likely to catch her if he chooses to play along.

But can she count it as a loss, when part of the point is to be caught?

The tension that seemed to brew between the pair was electric, a fire burning between lion and tiger like no one had ever seen before. Mismatched eyes watch @Myra carefully as she seemed to entice him forward, slipping away from his grasp as his paw returns to the ground. This was not his first time dancing among the fires or pushing the boundaries, but he seemed to want to return for more. How could he deny such a pretty thing when it was handed to him so beautifully on a plate? Asriel took one glance behind him before following the woman into the rocks that innocently surrounded the sacred falls, weaving in and out of them until he catches her up. A win, no?
