September Y13
Fall
Though the air is still warm and the sun is bright, the summer is beginning to wane and, with it, the humidity has started to die down. It is a welcomed relief for the inhabitants of the jungle, as more moderate weather will mean that the rainforest will not feel quite as stifling, as well as those from the desert, who's early autumn will see calm winds and mild nights. For the rest of the peninsula, the change in seasons will be gradual, hinting towards the colder months that are soon to come.

Rocks slipped beneath his weight and the longer claws that refused to slip back into their sockets completely. He had them his entire life and kept them sharp to a point. They helped push him forwards as he climbed the side of the peak, the muscles in his legs rippling with each push. Never straining as the demon was constantly training him to be at the best of his ability. He was never behind in training. He climbed and climbed until he felt he was at the right spot to see what this land had to truly offer. Blood jewels would drink it all in as he took note of a few places that seemed to hold some attention more than others. That drew his attention towards that area than others.

Gabrielle didn't really know what she was doing out here in this cold, unforgiving territory, she'd decided to explore some, away from the pride lands, in hopes of sight finding something, meditation wasn't easy around lions she didn't know yet. And of course she enjoyed her time with Vio, but the lioness was young and full of adventure. So she continued through the cold, sun rise colored colored coat standing out against the white tundra.
"Not much out here.. mm" The lioness hummed with disappointment, though she shrugged the negative feeling away, she'd find something to put together later on, right now, it was best she find herself home. Naive innocence gave her the wrong sense of security, why would anyone hurt her? Why would anyone even look at her in any kind of way? Poor, poor naive girl.
She wasn't near the peak of course but her coat stood out against the snow like a beacon of light. A lone lioness, though, she smelled of Vio and his pride, so why would she even be scared?

Sitting on his own little edge, Adeodatus was able to see the majority of the world he had walked into and was curious to know who all lived in this peaceful world. Well, he only thought it was peaceful because that was all that he had seen so far. Perhaps if he had shown up a few days - or months - earlier the demon would've seen the chaos that was war's happening left and right. Oh what chaos he would have loved to be involved in but alas, he had came to late. So, instead the demon king lounged upon his throne and look out into the world he would one day conquer. While he was looking he caught the glimpse of something interesting in the snow and red jewels narrowed on it as he watched the movements. It was definitely a lion - though female or male he couldn't tell - but it was unquie colored lion which drew his attention and therefore, caused Adeodatus to remove himself from the ledge and go down the pathway he had originally came up, but still kept the unknown in view.

Gabrielle flicked an ear casually, she had decided just then she hated the cold, she was a ray of sunshine, not to be snuffed out by the cold snow that clung to her paw pads. Unaware of her surroundings she pressed on, following the way she had came, remembering it as best as she could. Magenta eyes scanned infront of her, the snow made every noise a whisper of what it would normally sound like, she hated the quietness.
She refused to let it get her down though, speeding up just a hair into a lope, she was still so childlike, her attitude taking on the innocence she held tightly on to. She decided to make the walk go by faster she would pounce around, like a cub, when loved to roll and romp.

She seemed to be in a hurry or well, going somewhere else at least. Ears twisting as he came down from the path by jumping onto a few boulders and slithering his way between the trees and into the deeper snow that lay on a flatter surface at the bottom of the mountain. It was barely a crunch beneath his weight as he would stick to the trees near the edge and follow the sunset woman. Perhaps he could follow her back to where she called home and find some information about it. The thought crossed his mind but the way she held herself caused him to think that she was still a child. Or at least someone who he would terrify and that delighted him.

Gabrielle had two major faults when it came down to her entire being, and they were; 'coming from a trusting, loving home with not very many threats around, she was entirely unaware that some others were just cruel.' The other major faults of hers was, she was a complete innocent, naive young lioness with absolutely no actual education on anything mature. She was just now starting to figure out what a crush was, and she's still so confused. She's an absolute idiot, ignorance is her best friend in this case.
The pink and peach lion was as bright and beautiful as the morning sunrise over the desert, brilliantly bright with pinks, whites, and peaches, it wouldn't be a surprise to most if she attracted unwanted attention. She was a clean, young lioness, strong, healthy, a good contender for a mate, for a breeder, or simply for just looks. Gabrielle stopped closer to the edge.of the forests, wanting to take a break before she traversed the snowy woods, still blissfully unaware of any danger that could occur to her.

Perhaps danger was a good trait to explain him as. Hiding in the shadows and staying low to the ground. However, this was getting rather boring as Adeodatus watched her stop at the edge of trees along the mountain side to take a break and he would climb into a tree just close enough for her to hear him when he would begin to speak to her. Never thought I would see such a sunrise in the middle of the day. He would tease, chuckling and find a branch to hold his large weight as he would lounge on it carefully. Taking the fact that he had been able to follow her from the path and into the woods without her noticing. He would have to remember that for next time.

The lioness was quite alright until his voice pierced the quiet tundra, she jumped quite a bit off the ground, swinging around to face him, where most lions would have snarled or growled, she peered up at him, giggling and placing a paw on her chest. "You scared the hell outta me!." Her pink eyes shined brightly with amusement as she found the males face.
Gabrielle cocked her head a bit and smiled at his words, "Well, there's a chance for something new everyday." She shuffled a bit before deciding to introduce herself, "I'm Gabrielle, I'm new around here." Standing up, she walked back and forth, trying to get a better look at him, she sensed no danger, oblivious and naive, pure innocence wrapped in one sunny package.

She jumped at his voice and Adeodatus smirked at her as she giggled and placed a delicate paw on her chest. Confessing that he had scared her and oh, that had been the plan and he was oh so delighted that it had been successful. Perhaps that was the point. He would state bluntly at the sunrise before him. Blood jewels watching her closely as she spoke and then introduced her name. It was clear to the demon now that she was innocent. Perhaps to innocent for her own good and it caused Adeodatus to wonder if he could use her for his own good. Adeodatus, and surely not. You smell of a pride and walk as if you know the place. He would comment, watching as she tried to walk around. Why be difficult when he could make it easy for her. Pushing up slightly, the grey demon would jump from the branch and land on the snow with a thud and stand before her. Adeodatus.

Gabrielle watched as he leaves his branch and lands infront of her, her tail swayed slightly in the air, she stepped back just to give him some room. A small chuckle escaped her throat, she was feeling a bit of unease in the air, but she didn't want to be rude. The pink lioness shifted her eyes and looked at her paws.
"I've only just recently been accepted into Firnen Rainforest, but I came from beyond the portal." She listened to his introduction and she was sure she'd remember his name, and his face, he was a handsome male, if not a little creepy. Another chuckle escaped her throat as she stood up and stepped back, "Speaking of my pride, I'm sure they're worrying about me, I should actually get back sometime soon.." She pinned her ears back in embarrassment, hoping he didn't take her evasive attitude the wrong way.
