He came here to make an announcement to his family. But what he found was something rather dangerous and Envy would not be bringing his family here. Sure he was a monster but not like this. Being careful on where he walked, setting each paw delicatedly down, pointed ears pushing forwards and flipping backwards as he heard the hot water splurting out of the holes in the ground and into the air. A grumble formed, he didn't like this severe weather one bit. Envy wouldn't even go towards the pools themselves, not wanting to test the waters with those. He didn't want to burn himself or come back paw less.

Laveau hadn't quite made it back to her family yet, though she was hot on the trail, the smaller lioness hissed in annoyance as a spring hissed and spurted, she did her best to see through the steam and mist that dampened her coat. Uttering a few curses in Creole, she trudged on. It was only when she'd quite literally bumped her head into someone that she stopped, the feeling of something, someone's, fur and body touch her caused the lioness to scramble back.

She puffed her fur out and tried her best to seem dangerous, narrowing her eyes to better see the other lion, that's when the scent hit her, and then the recognition. " @Envy?." The lioness mewled out, wishing she could see better.

Steam pumped into the air like oxygen. It fogged his sight and hurt his ears, coating his thicker fur and making it cling to his muscular body. If he had a tail, it would be thrashing in irritation and annoyance, but all he had was a stubbed tail and it barely twitched when he was annoyed. But he got even more annoyed when someone came up from behind him and bumped into him, causing him to nearly stumble into one of the pools. Claws dug into the ground as he would turn and aim to lash at the other when his name was spoken, it had been the only thing that had stopped him. And though he couldn't see clearly, he was hesitant. Who is asking? His voice was laced heavily with his temper, ready to strike if it wasn't someone who knew him in such a personal way.

Laveau calmed her temper, her fur settling back down, she moved in, close enough she could now see him. She hadn't seen her siblings in quite awhile, being separated during their travels. She'd just gotten to Amaryllis, the small female peered up to the leader, the family patriarch , ever the loyal soldier, her eyes shined with adoration.

Did it sting that he hadn't recognized her, only a little, she understood, it was hard to see, hard to catch a scent. "Laveau..." A tremble caught on her lips, now that she's moved within his eyesight, where the fog did not hide her, Merle Coat glistening from the dampness, swirls of peaches, whites, pink's, with gradients if blacks and peaches, and a grayish mask almost skull like peered up through amethyst eyes.

Whoever it was, they moved closer and with such movement, Envy was able to see who it was exactly. Her coat matched those of her siblings and he could tell that she was of his own blood. His temper quelled, calming before the storm hit and devoured her entirely. You must be careful Laveau. He would state, his voice still having a slight temper but not enough for him to act on it. What are you doing here? It was dangerous here. Just as he asked that question, hot water sprouted from the ground and showered over them in which he pushed her away from it and towards the opening of the tunnel in which they had met before. His body pressed firmly against her's to make her move. It had been a long time since he had felt the warmth of another.

You must be careful Laveau. His voice calmed the incessant storm that had been brewing inside her since she'd been separated from them, What are you doing here? She was about to speak, finally finding the voice, the words to speak to him, to give him her answer, to tell him she'd been trying to find them since she'd gotten lost. The stub where her tail would have been wiggled, but before anything could leave her throat, hot water sprayed over their heads.

A yelp escaped her throat as she was shoved back in the tunnel, just before the spray fell back down on top of them, she panted, squeezing tightly into Envy's side, she was trying to find words, to say anything, but she just buried her face into his neck, trembling.

They made it into the tunnel before the water landed on them. For that he was grateful as he knew it would be hot to their skin. He might be able to handle it but perhaps not Laveau. And he wouldn't give her the option to try it. Pointed ears listened to the constant spurting of water throughout the Hot springs and the small rumbles above their heads but what caught him off guard was how Laveau stayed buried against him. His gaze shifted to her colorful form and would watch as she clinged to him, trembling. Envy didn't know how to handle this and would stay still as he would think of something to say but only a few words left his lips, We are safe here for now.

Laveau wasn't used to these emotions that had run through her, she felt nauseous and relieved, devotion, love, it was hitting her so fast, she could barely stand on her trembling paws. Her siblings hadn't forgot her, she felt her heart pounding in her chest, her eyes stayed closed.

"it's been too long Envy.. have you been okay? And the others?." Truthfully it hadn't been that long , maybe a year, but that was long enough to warrant Laveau's reaction. She loved her siblings, in her own kind of way, and she loved @Envy, always holding him on the highest pedestal. Always looking at him with nothing but devotion and adoration, until she couldn't find him, or the others.

Though his fur prickled slightly along his spine, it wasn't enough to warrant him to show how uncomfortable he was with the closeness they shared. But regardless, Envy removed himself from her side and would find one of the tunnels that would soon lead him to the meeting grounds of their home. Her words echoing against the walls and into his ear drums as he would shrug at her slightly. Stopping once he found the pelt that smelled of him directly and lounged on it. I am fine, the others I have sent them off to gather information about the prides until I bring them back here to pair them off in betrothals. He would muse nonchalantly. His gaze locking onto her form. He had paired off everyone but himself and Aslyum. Being picky on who he would mate with - outside of Lotus - he hadn't chosen anyone.

Laveau watched him pull away, she shrugged it off and followed him into the tunnels, once she walked into the meeting grounds, though not something she would know yet. She could smell her siblings, she looked around, half expecting someone to join them, when nothing happened, she let out a soft hmm and looked at him as he lounged.

Her ears perked at his words and she shifted nervously on her paws. "Betrothals?." She questioned, of course he was head of the family so of course he'd handle these matters, she looked around nervously.
