      It had quickly become second-nature to move. The cub had been full of energy before, escaping the den to search the entire Cay on more occasions than her mother could count. Now, however, ever since the mist, her energy had changed. Instead of roaming, aimless, seeking nothing but finding everything, there was a restless purpose. A need to keep the body busy so the mind could not linger. It was not nightmares that plagued her, though her sleep had become a bit more fitful since she had returned to the Crew. No. It was daymares. Thoughts that searched the bits and bobs of memory that had surfaced during her time lost. The best way to work through them all, was to do.
      The entirety of the Cay was not claimed by the Crew. They were no pride to hold territory beyond their need. Still, there were borders; Trees marked by claws, foliage by scent, sand by scat. The adolescent now patrolled these borders, pale eyes scanning the terrain as she went. Not that she could properly defend the Crew yet, but she could scream quite loud if someone untoward was to appear. That was enough reason for her to take up this self-imposed duty. So she moved, her pace a stretched trot that saw her jaws open and her tongue out in a pant. The exertion would cause micro-tears in her muscles, so that they could heal and build upon themselves, lending more strength to already brawny body.
      The sheer heat of the sun on the island was oppressive. No matter the determination, self-preservation meant breaks were to be taken frequently on this route. But the time would not be wasted. The cub turned from her trail and angled toward the nearest palm tree. Rising up on her hind limbs, she stretched out her forelegs and extended her over-long claws. Digging the nails into the bark was a satisfying feeling. To pit her growing strength against the plant that was eons older than she. Sharpening her claws was a natural behavior, and one she reveled in. Sometimes, she would get lucky and manage to get more fine points on her nails instead of breaking them.

He had been spending a good deal of time near the shore since he had learned Ragna was pregnant with his kits. Such knowledge was certainly a new feeling for the male, who had expected to be King and eager for such news when he had planned he'd be receiving it. Not living under another's roof, and certainly not expecting it to be with a woman he had simply found an attraction to in passing.

So, he is busy in idle thought as he wandered upon The Cay; his attentions grasped by a nearby rake of talons upon bark. Naturally curious, Violarum diverted vaguely to seek the culprit, and was rather pleased to find @Grit. He had spent a day with her searching loosely for Calypso to no avail. "Grit, did you find Calypso?" it is a casual request as he lumbers beneath the suns rays, coming to stand lazily near the maned girl, expectant.
