She never thought she'd feel so stuck and bored in her whole life.

Sunniva was out there chasing Saga somewhere, that was for sure, having the time of her life, and Erna... she had metaphorical chains binding her like a prisoner to the shadows. She knew everything about the Sigrun by now, she had seen them countless times, followed them constantly. They hardly walked by themselves, but even then the temptation to storm on their calm, unsuspecting lives was higher than ever.

It irked her to no extent.

But she was a good hound. She obeyed, listened. With Eulalia gone, perhaps Odhgrimm will finally praise her and give her the award she deserved for bringing all the information she gathered.

Her bulky limbs carried her into a strangely calm cavern, and she looked around, studying the tall walls and odd vines.

it was sheer coincidence that led him to her today. he had been prowling the peak, prying eyes seeking to gain what knowledge he could from this war-torn land. he had heard more than a few challenges since his own failed attempt and his skin itched with the desire to climb to the top of the hierarchy. his need for power was intense and he cursed the wounds that slowed him down.

this is why he climbed, to stretch his legs and warm his blood. his heart beat loud in his ears and he imagined them as the drums of war.

His claws scoured the ground, his paws flexed as he strode in to the strange place. There she was, summoned from fever dreams and half-flung fantasies. he slunk up behind her, paws soft and near silent on the ground, and then launched himself forward with a snarling growl. it was his intent to bring her down, to wrestle and stir his blood to a frenzy._{BG — ART — CODE}

This cavern was odd. There was some unsettling feeling inside her stomach and she felt her hair stand on edge. It was almost as if someone was watching.

She turned around suddenly, and it was all a blur as @Alaric's light shape lurched towards her.

Erna tumbled to the ground with him, snarling and thrashing until she realized it was her lover. If it wasn't for the heat of the moment, she'd feel disappointed that it was just him and not someone looking for an actual battle. Right now, though, she began to wrestle back, pushing her weight against his as her jaws attempted to grab a hold of anything.

They fell and he could have crowed like a Damn rooster, even if at the same time he was disappointed she had tumbled so easily. Perhaps she had known it was him, though — he decided he’d like to show her how much of a mistake that could be. Alaric would not try to kill his lover, but he did not sheath his claws as he sought to grab her shoulders as she spun beneath him. He was restrained but barely, all flashing teeth and claws, snarling when her own canines sunk in to his leg. He felt the blood rise from his skin and rumbled a sound of both pleasure and pain. His target shifted, seeking to press his paws in to her chest and force her down beneath his bulk, effectively attempting to pin her below him. Teeth aimed for the tender flesh of her neck as he felt the heat of his muscles at work.

Her teeth met their mark and she attempted to maintain her grip while at the same time trying to yank the foot to the side. She didnt care when they sank through his skin. No, instead she felt thrilled to have thos opportunity to move and tumble around.

His claws sank into her right shoulder, and she growlrd, twisting like a snake beneath his grasp. Her hind legs sprung up, trying to claw at his tender underbelly. Erna shifted her head and neck slighty to the side, making the lion's teeth penetrate her skin only lightly.

Her teeth held fast to his leg while it pressed to her chest and with a jerk it slipped to the side. Instinctively he flexed his claws to try to hold on, uncaring if they sliced her skin in the process. His right claws found their mark but with her thrashing he could not hold to her neck, feeling the slice of his stomach beneath her kicking legs. In an attempt to use his bulk he dropped down, effectively attempting to lay on her and trap her legs beneath him. The move digs her claws in deeper and he knows he is vulnerable, trusting her enough not to gut him and leave him for dead. His teeth aim for the side of her neck, now, hoping to pull the same blood from her that she has from him.

Erna continued to thrash beneath him, his greater weight unmoving from hers. The gashes left by his claws against her chest oozed blood and stung, which fueled her thrashing even more. Her teeth released his foot, instead seeking to meet his jaws in an attempt to block his oncoming attack.

When he dropped down atop her, she continued to keep her hind legs where they were, but knew better than to press further - she needed him alive, after all. The Rike woman began to feel her fatigue set in, considering that she has been turning wildly like a rabid beast for the past few minutes. Still, she didnt give up. In fact, she was more than willing to play this bloody game even further.

They were a mixture of blood and dirt but he did not stop. He would not until he had her submission, and he knew she would fight him for it. This meeting had evolved in to something oddly symbolic, or perhaps he merely wished to show her that his loss did not mean he was weak. Alaric felt an odd need to place her beneath him, to show her who was in charge, no matter how he might fawn over her. He ignores the sting of claws against his stomach, distracted by her teeth. They managed to snag his lip and tear it — he tastes the gush of blood and sees it drip on to his lover beneath him. The sight does something to him, a possessive growl rising from his throat as he shifts and attempts to press his paws against her neck. He does not shy from using his weight, does not care if he bruises her, he only wants to make her bow before him.

The dust rises around them like a morning mist, their bodies locked once more - but today it was a different kind of joining. One of blood and violence that was to accompany their relationship until it existed. They were like two snakes, wrapping around each other with the intention to satisfy a carnal instinct until one of them chokes to death.

Her spread jaws meet his in a deadly kiss. @Alaric's blood drips on her, a metallic red, tearing a snarl out of the depths of her chest. The sharp talons of her hind limbs continue to tear into his tender underside, an old pain igniting inside her right hip under his greater bulk. His paws seek to press against her neck, but she guards it with her tucked chin and her jaws search to grab at least one of his limbs and stop it from completely choking her out. Still, there is a lustful feeling that is stirred inside her, and while she fights against his attempt to dominate her, the Rike wench wants nothing but to be dominated by him. It was a sick and twisted desire. Her front legs seek to press against his chest, too, trying to push him off.

There is a twinge of deeper pain as one of her claws sinks deeper than he liked; he snarls at the sensation of another rush of blood from his belly. He clenches his teeth but resists the urge to move off of her, instead pressing his weight more heavily against her and feeling the creak of bones and joints beneath his bulk. Her teeth again seek purchase on his leg but this time he shifts away, sliding his front paws away from her neck, flexing his claws and seeking to curl them over the tops of her shoulders instead. He aimed to prick the flesh there, to force her still with a similar rush of pain as she had given him. Meanwhile his teeth snap open, hoping to distract her with a flash towards her face, splatters of his blood flying with the sudden move. Alaric aims to snag her cheek, or some part of her face, while at the same time he knows he will soon seek more than her blood and submission.
