October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

Talisa traveled a great distance in an effort to feel more connected to Maua. It had been so long since she'd seen their Creator in their physical form or at all so she was hoping that today might be the day. While the sky truly was not the apex place to summon her, it had felt right when she had gazed up at the Peaks that morning and decided that she wanted a bird's eye view.

The journey up was tiresome but she had the initiative to keep going despite how warm the sun was at her back. The clouds didn't exactly do much and likely laughed at her for trying but when she got up there, it didn't seem nearly as warm. In fact, she could swear there was a nice little breeze that circled around her and made her feel a little less like a dying plant and more alive. So Talisa wandered closer to the Lookout (though kept her distance from the edge) and peered upwards.

No Man Shall Live Beyond His Fated Death-Day
Vadik had witnessed a female moving with purpose toward the lookout point, and curiosity gnawed at his mind. Where was she going? He feared for her wellbeing... as a sheer drop from a lookout point might be tempting to some.

Spurred on out of concern and curiosity, Vadik followed the rather attractive female, keeping his distance until he knew for sure what her intentions were. He did not want to spook her, surely. The hike was long and slightly taxing, but it was nothing he wasn't used to doing... even in his home country! It was a nice excuse, if anything, to explore this place. He had never been up here before!

As they made their way to their final stop, the female kept safely away from the edge and looked to the sky. At least that alleviated one of his concerns. Perhaps now it was time to make himself known. He cleared his throat cheekily, unsure if there was any better way to do this...

"Er, good morning Kvinne.

I don't mean to startle you... I simply saw you coming up here and wanted to make sure you were alright."

He explained, without going into too much detail. He gave her a crooked smile, standing tall. Wounds were healing upon his left shoulder from the scuffle he had gotten into with his friend the other day. Strangely, he was hoping she took notice of them.

The air up on the Peak always felt fresher and just more than anywhere else. Something about it eased any worry or pain that she might've been experiencing and it led her to know that she wasn't alone. That there was beauty on the horizon and better things in story for the pride, her family and herself just so long as she kept going forward.

The heiress was surprised to have someone up near the Lookout and turned to see a pale individual call to her. Addressing her as kvinne and not knowing what it meant but presumed it to be good. I am good; thank you. She smiled to him in her typical friendly manner, her lilac eyes taking him in and not recognizing him in the slightest nor taking in any familiar scents. Though, she was quick to notice what he'd wanted her to see. Are you? she asked, her body lifting to stand as she looked at the wounds on @Vadik's shoulder. They looked somewhat fresh but were healing with no infection to them but something must've happened.

No Man Shall Live Beyond His Fated Death-Day
The Norseman was glad to hear that she was alright, and that his worries had been for naught. Now, he simply wanted to get to know her better, if she was willing . She stood and looked at him with concern as she asked if he was alright in turn.

Confusion flashed across his features before he realized that she was inquiring about his shoulder wounds. So she HAD noticed! Though... he had wanted her to be impressed rather than worrying over him. He looked down at his shoulder and chuckled, laughter erasing the confusion.

“Oh, what? This? Yeah, no no... this is nothing! You should have seen the other guy!”

He rolled his shoulders just to flex his shoulders and prove that the wounds didn’t bother him... though, they did quite scream at him for the brash movement.

I’m Vadik Frigard... a local wanderer of these parts really. Who are you, if you don’t mind me asking?”

His words were warm as the smile stayed upon his lips in a friendly gesture. He decided to sit to encourage the woman to do the same, settling comfortably where he had once stood.

Talisa was happy to be in the company of someone who seemed rather open and reasonably friendly. Always happy to meet a non-native lion who she could easily get along with. Worrying over his well-being, or anyone's really, was simply natural but she was a little impressed when he told her to see the other guy. Oh! You won, then? she asked, growing slightly more interested by the minute but also wondering why they had fought. What was their reason?

I am Talisa Valour, a native from Vermeda Brook. While she wasn't always very intent on calling herself a native out loud to others, she was learning to not be as forthcoming about her title within her pride. She didn't want anyone to think that she was above them nor did she need anyone acting any differently than they would if she were just a mere lioness. To his gesture, she sat down but kept a comfortable space between them so as not to intrude on other's personal space. Another thing she was working on.

No Man Shall Live Beyond His Fated Death-Day
Well... the truth was, he had actually lost. But seeing the impressed expression upon the woman's face, and wanting such an impression of him to stick with her... perhaps he wouldn't correct her error. Sure... he had won.

As she moved to sit as well, he felt a calm breeze blow between the two of them. Her words slid along the air gracefully as she spoke of who she was in turn. It was nice, sitting here with her. Her company was electric... he could feel it in his toes... or was it his heart simply beating out of his chest?

He gave a half-bow to her out of friendly respect. She did not mention her title, but instead that she was a native of these lands... and that she belonged to a nearby pride. This piqued his interest. He wanted to know where she came from, and what kind of people she called her own.

"Well, @Talisa Valour, I am pleased to make your acquaintance.

You say you're a native here? Perhaps you might be willing to show me around a bit? I've been trying to find a welcoming pride to mingle with and rest my bones, but thus far... none have seemed right."

He told her, shrugging his shoulders before grimacing at the pain. Ooof... oh yeah, still hurts.

Even when she was younger she had held a fascination with the stories of warriors and great strength. Of those that fought battles and found their glory on the seats of bloodied thrones; Talisa was a sensitive woman at times but there was just something wonderful about the art of war. Perhaps it stemmed alongside her desire to have a white knight that fought on her behalf but she tried not to get her hopes up. So she'd kept the dream on the back burner until she found that dream in Morrigan.

Talisa grimaced, happy by his considerate words as well as his interest in knowing more about her, her pride and Amaryllis even. I suppose I could help you learn the land. It wouldn't be the first time someone had requested that sort of knowledge from that large brain of hers. The map of home resting heavily upon her noggin. I am from the Brook up north, we are allied to a few very nice prides. Obsidian Hollow in the west and Caladan Cove in the southeast. Talisa liked both Jewel and Magnus and thought that their leading styles were quite close and maybe an in between of what the Valour's pride was comprised of.

No Man Shall Live Beyond His Fated Death-Day
He listened with interest as she explained the geographic locations of her own pride and those they were allied with. He heard her words, but he couldn’t help drinking in her visage.

He tried to shake her beauty from his mind as he worked to construct a mental map, if you will, of all the local municipalities. He nodded once he understood. Perhaps he’d manage to remember where these prices were for future use.

“And your pride, by the brook. What is it that makes this one unique... different from all the rest?”

Besides the fact that SHE resided there, of course. He had already heard stories of the deity Maua. Could the tradition and culture be the same among all, or different.we’re there any prides that have endured for centuries? He had many questions... but held his tongue.

All in due time.

The heiress was happy to help others find their way in her home, anxious to see them grow but as was typical she always had to make sure that she was being somewhat secretive. There were still a few dark whispers in her head that told her that some things were best kept to herself. After all, Vermeda had been the only pride within Amaryllis for years and only recently had there been the introduction of more. For starters, we were the first prides here? Native to this land for generations up until recently when others found their way here. Talisa felt a small hitch in her tongues words as she dared not to mention Maua. Something pulled her back from mentioning the Creator's name not in fear of rejection but something else that Talisa couldn't put her toe on. Not realizing, of course, that he was already vastly familiar with their Deity.

No Man Shall Live Beyond His Fated Death-Day
Vadik raised his brows in intrigue, impressed with the dedication her pride held to endure for so long. Still, where he came from newcomers would not have been welcomed with open arms... in fact, they would have been welcomed with a warrior's teeth to their throats.

"It must have been very taxing to welcome newcomers to your homeland. I imagine that, at times, the transition was not easy?

In my homeland there is endless bloodshed in the defense of land, life and property... and that's even without foreigners laying claim to random plots!"

His intrigue turned into confusion. The statement doubled as a second question. Had there been war? Had her pride lost and in turn been forced to split their territory among the many different prides that resided here now? Vadik then shrugged slightly.

"Of course... it is mainly our culture, and the All-Father, that is to blame for that."

He chuckled then, hiking a brow to see if she would take the bait. Sure, he had not mentioned Maua... but perhaps in mentioning his God, she could be guided onto the subject more easily. He wanted to know more about the history of this place, and it's Deity.
