▽ Finnulf made a habit of being involved in everything his mother did, as much as he possibly could. As he got older, his interest in the pride and what the adults within it did was growing by the day. As the call rung out, Finn was near the shore, teasing a group of seagulls. He’d charge them, they’d fly up, land again. He would charge again. One time he hooked his claws on the tail of one and came away with a tuft of feather. Once the commotion enticed him away, he gave the gulls a snarl as if to promise that he would be back. It took him a minute to make it to where the adults were gathered, but sprinting got him there in time to catch a few words. His eyes instantly found his mother after glacing over his extended family and pride council – adults he knew to be some sort of important thing, just not specifically what - and he went to Ulla’s side, sensing the tension that wrought through her muscles. He bumped his shoulder into his leg, glancing back at the new height he had reached in comparison and grinned privately to himself. Getting taller, hells yeah. His attention was then absorbed by the male that was standing at their border. For a moment, Finn’s eyes were wide. He was a beast, huge, dark. A weariness crept into him at the same time as the thrill of fear and wonder that surged through his chest. He said nothing, however, finally tearing his eyes away from the male and to the females at his side. He attempted to their speeches – mimicking the postures of the adults on his side of the border. But Ransom and the sheer fortitude of the man kept distracting him, so Finnulf blatantly stared.

Summer
With the last of the rainfall seeming to have swept across the peninsula, summer days await! The days are warm, though comfortable, and peeter off into more mild evenings while the humidity remains low. It is the perfect inbetween until things transition towards more sweltering temperatures, so best enjoy it while it is here.
