+5 Attend a spar or challenge to assess the wounds
It seemed as though she didn't need to spill her own blood for her curse, for the ground was soon coated with that of a myriad of lions. The Brook fared well in the ensuing chaos, it seemed, though she noted poor Cassandra lost her effort to take control of the Mire. She appreciated the woman's effort, even if it hadn't been intended as reclaiming it for her own sake. It would have been good to know that a native once more sat upon the throne here, regardless of it was her or not.
She continued to pray for the safety of the Brook lions and their allies, plenty of which she spotted in the crowd as well. Some of the lions from the Hollow were there, and even still there were more that she didn't recognize, fighting a war amongst themselves that she couldn't begin to guess at the reasoning for. In the end, it didn't matter. She couldn't even say who had won.
"Maua, spirits, bless those who came to aid us on this day," she said softly, shaking off her leg to let a few more droplets of blood splatter on the ground to seal the offering, taking a moment to lick her limb clean before leaving herself. There were many who would need healing, and not just in their own pride.

Vellen, please keep her safe, he begged as he helped to get Zhara out of the line of fire. It was probably good that he wasn't around to see everything else that happened, to see Saga fall only to be miraculously brought back. He was stressed enough trying to keep his siblings from getting hurt any more than they already were. And all this only for the woman who had initially made the pride challenge to not win. He wondered if that would have made her reign start out cursed even if she had succeeded. Probably good that she hadn't had to find that out. Just keep Zhara and my family safe, he prayed one last time as he kept their path out secure.

Though no threat of his own - there were more suspicious characters than he, but a lazy dragon enthused by his own treasures. Saoirse meant nothing in the way of his conquests, and therefore nothing by means of his own suspicions. But to others, her questions riddled the properties of a spy, and one so paranoid may go as far as to render her ventures with uncouth interrogation.
In honesty he cared little what became of her, a stranger in the road of succession, but it didn't hurt to warn her.
As soon as she came she left, heeding his warning or the dying fares of bloodshed that culminated and crashed before them; and Amara fell, causing him to roll forward on his heels. Though too far to hear the exchange between the pale lioness and the starry queen, his eyes beheld the language of contempt and the call to fall back rang true.
A sighing defeat on his own - though his engagement with the great Saoirse had been keenly interesting, it lacked its vehemence, and he made no strides on the battlefield. Their enemies had mostly disbanded, if not torn apart already, and even the strangers slinking through the dark were swift and indiscernible shades. His thrill was swallowed down by disappointment, and with a final glance cast across the warground, he passed through to follow Amara west.

in a matter of minutes the ground is splattered with blood. the scent of the mire is gone, and in its place is something dizzying and terrifying alluring to her. diantha's heart pounds, sharp eyes glancing from one combatant to the other. her father's words of caution is becoming dimmer and dimmer while another voice is urging her to join the war. yet still, diantha stays, attempting to be the obedient miroslav daughter, and let trouble stray far.
naturally, as time pass, the battles begin to wane and more lions slip out. diantha's growing tired of all the activity, despite being inactive. but she does enjoy the shows very much and hope she'll see something like this again. [exit diantha]

It doesn’t feel like a victory.
Hazel had defended herself, however, and she will not allow the guilt to grow and bloom in her chest. Once the creep is well and truly gone, Hazel staggers into the sidelines to catch her breath and assess her own wounds, and by the time she recovers most of the fighting is over. Coral eyes flick almost anxiously around for Seneca, and once he is located, she slips out of the Mire’s territory and heads directly home to Andal. A trail and tears of blood in her wake.
Exit.

The violence was beginning to smolder and as the once frenzied crowd started to splinter and finally disperse, Léonie lost track of her dad. A growl droned in her throat while she turned her head every which way, hoping to spy his spotted bulk through the bodies and brush. But when nothing came of her search, the little spy wondered if she’d somehow missed him during the exodus. She supposed that it would be better to leave now and hopefully reconnect with him back in the Oasis.
Moving from her hiding place, the grey child slipped through the thick flora of the Mire to cross over its borders and head for home.

Plenty had occurred around him. Saga victorious one way or another as Erna died on the battlefield. Many gathered around their jarl to work to save her life and Myrkvi had little else to do to aid anyone else one way or another. He rose to follow the leaving forms from the Mire. His tongue sought to swipe over his bloodied maw idly, ignoring what he could of his wounds. He came out for the better and that was what mattered. He hoped Ronin enjoyed his broken forelimb. Though those thoughts would be left here as he would be finding his way to the Brook now that this challenge had concluded.
