singing softly a siren's song, Fighting breaks out between many of the pride mates. Din of snarls, clashing fangs, sounds around her in an overwhelming wave. The lions of the bluffs are central to fighting, they crave it above all else. She is not this way. Softer, far softer than the lions here. Not quite as privy to the savage ways. Yet she had promised Amara, told her that she would try, and so she did.

Hesitation cost her much of any defense in her own fight as Charax had moved to face her straight-on. Quick, much faster than the lazy pallid frame, the other lioness had come just off to the right towards her, the smaller form had ducked low to snake beneath her throat. Since she was not very good at fighting there was not much effort in the way of defenses. Not even an inkling of instinct seemed to drive her as she felt the pinch of fangs against the tender, fatty flesh beneath her neck. Before she could hold back a whine thrummed within the depth of her throat.

Claws had extended as she brought her right paw up and then down, seeking to land on Charax's shoulder if possible. If she had hit her target she would drive her weight down and back, hoping to push the other woman off of her, away from her. Lucky for the deep chestnut opponent she'd found herself with an inexperienced, rather meek fighting partner.

It was not a nice expression, the wicked smirk that grew as his victory became more and more apparent. The motion of the other male's head might have blocked his access to his throat, but it seemed clear this was very nearly over. Ryker's right paw remained in place on his opponent's chest, only seeking to reposition for stability. The left would rise and seek to press down on the side of the man's face as his head lifted, trying to force his opponent's head down against the stone beneath them.

"This is the part where you yield." The implied threat of further injury was left unsaid. Maiming a fellow pride member wouldn't cost him any sleep at night, and he wondered if it might hurt or help his chances at moving up the ranks. This seemed like a happily violent group, after all, but targeting enemies over members was probably the better way to earn some recognition.

Caelum had been defeated, or so his opponent hoped. He didn't like his odds, laying there beneath the male, seemingly "helpless". As Caelum twisted to bite at @Ryker's paw, the male pressed down upon Caelum's ribs with his right paw as he pressed his left into the side of Caelum's face, forcing his head to flatten against the rocky ground. Beneath the force, Caelum's lips peeled back and he snarled, not particularly appreciating this dominance. A clawed paw came up and attempted to knock Ryker's paw from his face, releasing him from the pressure.

"This is the part where you let me up," Caelum growled, eager to stand on his own paws again in case this male wanted to go for round two... because that's what it was seeming like.

Where Lycaonia might have assumed Charax grateful for her companies lack of fighting instinct, the marbled woman is not a creature who craved victory. She was a practical woman who sought to train herself to be the best she could be, so her immediate feeling when her opponent seems to entirely lack defense, is one of disappointment.

Still, she would use the situation as best as she could; always hungry for knowledge, experience. The pale lioness lands a clawed paw upon her left shoulder, effectively using her greater weight and strength to push Charax away. The claws would draw blood, scathing down the mid-front of her left shoulder.

The russet woman sought to tear her grip away from Lycaonia's neck, trying to vaguely increase any inflicted damage - whilst always keeping in mind this was a friendly fight. Even still, the large woman sent Charax staggering backwards, forming a gap between the pair for a fleeting moment.

Ears pinned, the Scout attempts to approach the pale woman again; slightly to her right, attempting to move quickly in order to throw the weight of her jutted right shoulder into the muscle of Lycaonia's own right shoulder.

He'd let his paw be knocked away, settling it back to the stone beneath them. The other soon followed, releasing the pressure on the man's ribs as Ryker moved a step backward to allow him to pick himself up off the ground. "Alright, fine." A casual shrug accompanied the words - he had no fear of a man he'd beaten once already, even if the man chose to try again.

His single rational braincell reminded him that it was better to avoid maiming his pride mates, if only because it meant they'd have better odds as a group against their apparently many enemies. And he had no need to prove a point twice without being provoked.

Turning, then, he'd move to find a place at the sidelines to watch the rest of the matches. For the time being, his wounds would be ignored (it looked much more impressive that way, he thought), he could tend to things later once he'd returned to his den. Unless some healer came along to bully him into submitting to treatment.

Only a few moments after her arrival, the male begins to speak at length, and Ursula finds herself watching the shivering movement of the strawberry strands of his mane. So her guess had been right, it's he that wants something out of them all. Who, even, is he? Blinking placidly, she tries to discern any resemblance to another pride member. Relation still wouldn't explain to her why he's conducting what appears to be a meeting. She is perhaps the only among them that knows nothing of Dieudonné, not in the proper sense. Their penchant for grandeur and superiority, to put it plainly.

So, while she's trying to decide if this whole thing is weird or not, he unfurls from his position, rising in a graceful and flamboyant way. It's reminiscent of a lion she knows well, theatrical and boisterous. Glancing around, she doesn't spy Vermier here, but wonders if perhaps the males are cousins, or otherwise just raised by parents with alike tendencies. No tellin'. For a moment Ursula waits, just watching for something to happen, and when it does her eyes narrow sharply, her ears laying flat. Beelzebub struts right up to this guy, and after a few words between them the pair launch into a fight. Albeit it's obviously not life-threatening or massive-injury-inducing, but anxiety skates beneath the spotted woman's skin.

What the hell was Bee doing? Why was she always fighting people?? Ursula takes a step forward, wondering if she should help her sister out, but a flurry of movement in her peripheral drags her attention away. Another brawl has begun, and then another after that. Realization begins to surface when she notices that Amara is not concerned, and neither are Echo and Andromache. Contrarily, the smallest of the Bezra bunch seems to be trying to incite her own fight, poking and prodding at their shadowed sibling. In all it's a little bit of an emotional rollercoaster for the deaf lioness, but she's calm now that she sees it's something of a pride training event.

Tension loosening from her body, the huntress decides to join in her sister's fun of picking on Andromache. Reaching out with a careful paw, Ursula tries to hook her toes around a dark ankle, trying to sweep the limb out from under her melanistic sister.

The skunk-colored lion finally allowed him up, and Caelum quickly found his feet and shook the dirt from his coat. @Ryker found his place among the crowd, watching those who still needed to finish their training fights. Caelum's blue eyes followed him to the sidelines, and he, too, eventually found a space in the ring that encircled the fighting lions. Caelum found a place quite a bit away from Ryker, being that he was quietly sulking that he lost the dominance match. The black lion lowered himself to the ground, panting and watching the others fight in the name of training.

"True enough," the dark sister shared in return to Echo's observation. Especially with as much time as they had spent around the family, it was becoming easier all the time to recognize them. She would listen as the one who called them here laid out his plan, feeling a bit apprehensive about approaching a partner until her sisters came up with a better plan. The ebony woman's usually stoic features cracked into a grin as she slipped into basic defense, not worried about her siblings doing any serious damage after all.

As she is pinned between her two sisters with Echo circling around her quickly, Andromache would lower her center of gravity in case one of them decided to pounce. Echo seemed to want to herd her backside toward Ursula, but as Andy felt claws scrape against her left hock, leaving blood trails in the thin black fur, she thought about just kicking out at her sneaking sister, yet a heartbeat later her right hind limb was also being assaulted.

Laughing, she would instead lean her front half low before kicking out with both her back legs to try and put some distance between the three of them again. She was at a disadvantage here, of course, but that somehow made it all the more fun.
