+10 Host an event for the pride (double xp)

It doesn't take Apollinaire long to get used to his new duties. He was a chameleon, and change came easily to him. During the years, he had acquired the skill of molding easily into any role that has been bestowed upon him, which was exactly what made him a dangerous creature.

Tonight, as the autumnal winds have settled for once, and the stars were shining bright overhead, he was feeling festive. After all, what better way to celebrate his new title and at the same time show that he was being proactive to his Dieudonne Queen and faithful kin? With the exciting prospect of raids on the horizon, he could scour everybody's weaknesses and strengths. The idea came easily to his extroverted, party-loving mind. Battle training! It had all the things that the heathen enjoyed so much: blood, fighting, and a gathering of many!

Praising himself for the brilliant idea, he stepped into a clearing that usually held the pride's meetings and other events. The general chuffed a few times for all to hear, then sat down prim and proper in wait for everyone to arrive.

@Apollinaire had become an increasingly familiar sight around the pride and is a man who is very distinctly Dieudonne in Echo's opinion. He shared with the others in his family a sort of authoritarian and aloof dangerous charm that set the family apart from other lions she had met in these lands.

She lopes after the call, gaze curious as Echo examines the man as she approaches to assess whatever his agenda for calling them may be. It seems she is the first for now, but certainly not for long. Brown eyes flicker curiously over Apollinaire in secret appreciation of his long sleek mane - among the longest, she has seen on a man. Yet, there is something so inherently forbidden about his demeanor and his maturity; as though her appreciation alone was offensive.

Nostrils flare as she releases tension in the form of a quiet sigh.

It did not take long for Tripfire to stir from his slumber, he had only just started to fall asleep when the call rang out. Why, he thought, were they doing a gathering this late? The stars were beautiful over his head, unable to take his eyes off the night sky while he walked. Until he came closer to where the scent was strongest he then reeled his head back down to earth, grunting his approach to the lion ahead of him.

Ears twitching through his brilliant shade of faded red to ivory while he saw another approach. A woman. A nod of his head was given while he yawned letting his fangs reflect from the little light the stars gave them. Quietly he would wait to see why they had been called from their beds.

A call in the night was always curious. It didn't sound urgent, though, and so Ryker wouldn't rush in getting out of his den. Briefly, he considered ignoring it entirely, but curiosity got the better of him after a moment.

Arriving at a casual pace, with curiosity plain on his face, he took note of the trio already present. A couple familiar faces, one not so much. He recognized the man in the center from the meeting some time ago and turned that curious look on him as he sought to seat himself a comfortable distance away. "What's this about?" Didn't have that meeting vibe, so an event of some sort? Or was the man the type to drag everyone out in the middle of the night for the hell of it?

Apollinaire. She yields to his call obediently, sparing no moments consideration to his purpose. Despite his peculiarity in some ways, he strikes her as no oddity; if anything, he was a pride member she had formerly met, and there were too many she hadn't. So, he brings some mild degree of comfort, however scarcely.

Quietly, briskly, Charax arrives with her typical belly-low slide, marbled flesh blatant against stony hillsides. The ranked male had chosen a particularly noteworthy location for his meeting, stony outcrops encircling a spacious clearing upon a relatively flat plateau. The woman came to settle loosely within the group.

Amara was pleased with how things had been shifted around some. It would be good to have someone else to lean on for the fights and to help in her planning for the things she wished to do. It would prove to be useful, she hoped. She lifted her head from her paws as she heard a call. Lifting herself from the ground with ease she moved to the clearing to see what was happening. There were few there, clearly, the members didn't get the message. Amara let a call out for the whole pride to attend. This would be useful for all of them. Even if they weren't fighters, they needed to know how to defend themselves to some degree. She made it clear in her call that they needed to attend before looking toward @Apollinaire and answering @Ryker. Training. The pride needs it. The answer seemed to be simple enough and hopefully got the point across with ease.

singing softly a siren's song, The call would have come sooner or later for fighters to convene, for the pride to train for the raids that had been whispered around the bluffs. As she'd gotten to know Vermier a bit more than the chance meeting in Maua's passage she was certain that most of the lions here were the violent type, seeking to tear down their enemies rather than find common ground. Though she lived among them she wasn't the type to physically fight, finding that her skill set was in no way oriented around physical violence unto others. Now, she wasn't against fighting necessarily, just not skilled enough to call herself a warrior or volunteer claws for Wolbron's cause. Even so, she had come to the call to see those lions which might fight in the name of Vermier and Amara. News had spread that the dark lioness was the leader of the pride moreso than Vermier, though she found that hard to believe with the man's insistence that he was the best. When she arrived pastel eyes picked out @Amara in the group, and she had drifted lightly toward that direction to greet the pride leader until she thought better about it and redirected herself to mingle at the edge of the crowd. Best not to get herself too involved in something she wouldn't be good at.

Hazarin had been out of the Bluffs when the call for him and his fellow pride mates echoed through Amaryllis. His ears piqued as he paused in his tracks and promptly adjusted his direction of travel to return home. Hazarin might be curious, but he was obedient too, and so the male made his way back to the Bluffs. Admittedly late, the clay Dieudonné slips into the clearing and looks at those that had gathered. He didn't particularly recognize the male, @Apollinaire, that had called them all together, but he did clock the figure of @Amara across the area. His ears swivelled at the sound of training. What did they need to train for? His brows furrowed briefly as he took a seat, resting on his haunches as he waited for the next set of orders to be barked at them.

The shadow slipped into the area with her pride mates shortly after @Amara's call. She'd been returning from exploring the nearby territories and had been looking forward to a nap, but it seemed the pride had other plans. When she realized it was not just a mere meeting but seemingly some kind of training event instead, Andromache's mood lifted considerably and she trotted on long dark limbs over to stand beside @Echo. Black eyes shifted over the man who seemed to be hosting the rest of them and she would lean over to murmur, "Do you know him?" to her sister. It did seem a safe bet that he was Dieudonné, especially since Amara seemed to trust him to teach her warriors.

Wandering quietly towards the area to which Apollinaire had called them, Mithros wasted no time in taking his seat. Though he did not gravitate towards his usual suspects and instead kept on the outskirt. There was nothing wrong, per say, but he supposed that it was better for him if he set himself apart from the crowd if this truly was a training exercise for the lions in the pride. He had been a while since he had taken to a fight but he supposed he was just as ready now as he could be. He might even be itching to...
