"Alright princess, it's time for a rematch."She says with a smirk as she waits.
There was a part of her that fully expected @Hestia to seek retribution. It hadn't taken much to get the handle on what kind of a person the dark Tollaire was - grudge holder was definitely up there on the list. In spite of their decidedly rocky introduction, Victoria found that she didn't actually hate the older girl. Perhaps there was something to be said for recognising a kindred spirit - in recognising that Hestia could be just as nasty as Victoria herself and that could go one of two ways. They could turn that towards one another, or to others around them. Victoria honestly wasn't sure which would be worse. But when the chuffing call rolled out across the sands, a vicious smile curved across her lips nonetheless. She used every ounce of stealth she could muster - slipping between the scrubby plants that inhabited the sands and the shadows of the bigger dunes as she attempted to track down the older girl. And when she caught sight of the girls dark form, she attempted to use all of that stealth to sneak around so she faced her back. With a glitter of her prior triumph in her eyes, Victoria crept forward, hoping to get closer without alerting the other. And then, silent and deadly, she launched her body forward - arms spread wide in an attempt to bear hug the teen's rump and her jaws aimed to snap shut on Hestia's spine - a sneak attack for their rematch. @Victoria vs. @Hestia Dominance Round 1 / 3 Hits: Rolling 3d20: 6 + 10 + 2 Dodges: Rolling 1d20: 19 Luck: Rolling 5d20: 5 + 15 + 6 + 8 + 10 +5 Sneak start a fight/spar (1/2) |
She took no notice of the tiny, wobbling creature that watched on the sidelines - her younger brother, now that she had those kinds of things. She couldn't bring herself to hate them, but she certainly wouldn't be making their lives easier any time soon. @Artæmis is therefore ignored as her focus remained solely on the midnight pelted yearling. Soon enough, Victoria would pass her year mark, but for now the two months that separated them seemed enormous. Her body collided with the dark girls rump, but her target did not stay still for long. @Hestia's hind leg struck out and caught her chest, but the older girl was already on the move to try and move forward and turn around. Victoria allowed the movement and watched as Hestia turned to face her fully - she flashed the Tollaire a grin. Now that they were face to face, Victoria took the opportunity to launch herself forward. Her dark socked paw lifted, swiping towards Hestia's face with claws fully extended. Of course, the blow was hardly likely to cause any serious damage - not as much as it would have done if they had been older, with more weight behind them. But her claws aimed to slash across Hestia's face none the less. @Victoria vs. @Hestia Dominance Round 2 / 3 Hits: Rolling 3d20: 18 + 4 + 12 Dodges: Rolling 1d20: 18 Luck: Rolling 5d20: 9 + 4 + 12 + 16 + 6 |
It was with satisfaction that she felt her claws slice across the speckled muzzle of her opponent, but the feeling was short lived. Hestia, the dragon that she was, managed to catch hold of her paw and the younger feline hissed viciously. She had little intention of letting the yearling keep her tangled though - with no small amount of pain she wrenched her paw free, pulling her body backwards and therefore missing the claws sent her way entirely. It was clear neither of them were done though and Victoria used her hate fire to launch her body forward - she attempted to clash chest to chest, to shunt Hestia backwards and hopefully over onto her back, to leave her belly exposed. Their chests clashed and likely both girls received bruises - of course it was a drastic strategy and one that did not go in Victoria's favour. The clash knocked the breath out of her and her head ducked down and back immediately - winded and unable to continue their clash of wills, she had to admit defeat. It wasn't necessarily a difficult thing for the proud Miroslav to do - if only because Diantha had made her eat dirt enough times that she had to accept that she wouldn't win them all. Even so, she surprised herself when a low-pitched chuckle rose in her chest. "I think we can call us even now." She wheezed out, before taking some deep breaths to try and catch them again. |
