He stalks away from the challenge with a purpose. His body held a confident posture, head staying high in the air instead of drooping low, showing his attitude that he was not going to allow for the Mire to be taken so easily. Keir would move quickly toward the edge of the pride’s borders, stopping right when he reached them. Skull would glance back from where he had just come from before body would pivot, gaze watching to see which of his pride mates had followed him here. And then would his jaws part and release a loud and bellowing call, beckoning for @Morrigan and @Vitala. He knew he could count of them if he ever needed help, and help was what they needed today. They needed to plan, and they needed to do it now.

“Ecrosia is our home,” he would begin, his voice steady and loud. Ears would flick forward in alert and he would allow for his defenses to be half up, just in case he needed to spring into defensive action. “I want for us to overthrow the lion that has taken that away from us. I will lead us. Who all will join me?” Keir would then fall silent, hopeful gaze looking around and waiting to see who would pledge their allegiance to the cause. He could feel his breath hitch in his throat, his nerves jumbling and the rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins. This was something he had never dreamt of doing, but he could no longer stay on the sidelines when things like this happened. Even a pride challenge didn’t make him feel this way.

Sansón wanted to give his support and will always do with his brother Keir. And that by default meant his brother already had an ally on him and without caring he crossed the borders and he hopped they wouldn't mind him being here to offer his extra claws and teeth for the cause. He sat down as he heard his brothers proclamations. His expression went stern and with a purpose in mind, that being helping his brother and his pride try gaining their rightful place back.

"Allow me to help you, as my brother I offer my alliance with you all. I will fight if you'll let me." He was ready to fight. @Keir

The giant followed at a short distance behind the Ecrosia Heir, though now he supposed @Keir was the former heir.
A white male joined them as Keir expressed his wish for a rebellion, to overthrow the victor of the pride challenge.

Teal gaze looks across to the white lion @Sanson as he declared himself to be Keir's brother. The obsidian ghoul looked then between the two men. "Then we are all three brothers. I stand with you Keir and will do as you ask." Ransom lifted his broad head, now was not the time to explain his revelation, but he had wanted Keir to understand where his loyalty now rested.

He meant what he said to his cousin. No matter what happened, she had his support. The moment Roan saw @Keir stalk away and start calling for support, the Hodari was quick to follow. He's issue a call to those of his pride who had followed him to the challenge before heading off after Keir. Even if he didn't know the ebony lion well, he was the former Heir to Jafar's reign. Getting the Mire back meant keeping the Hodari's family safe that was now stuck beneath Alaric's rule. The mauve lion followed Keir away from the fight, stopping just as he heard the third lion voice his support. "You have my support, Keir. And anyone needing sanctuary is welcome to stay in Obsidian in the meantime." The cubs, the non-fighters. Alaric could claim he owned them now, but they didn't have to stay here. As for the rest of Obsidian, Roan would not force any of them to fight, though he hoped they would still voice their desires to help.

Lotus wasn't far from Roan, also ready to aid the Mire in whatever was needed. She could even attempt to challenge for lionesses or cubs upon request. Or be part of the Uprising,wherever she was more help for the cause. She took a seat by @Roan , saying nothing until she was asked to. In situations like this it was wise to be quiet if nothing useful would come from her mouth. But even if she wouldn't express it in word she was doing with her gestures and actions of being here in support. She held a neutral expression but anxious within. They would go against the same bastard that almost took the Hollows as he now did to the Mire. And in no way she would leave them to their luck.

The fields around her were a blur as she remained on the tail of an antelope. Swift turns and leaps over rocks. She pushed herself, reaching for its heels with a growl. With a smooth and unexpected turn of her target Vitala skidded to a halt in a flurry of dust and small stones. Sides heaved as she stood and caught her breath, watching her meal run off into the distance. Tail flagged and strides proud as if taunting her failure.

Her head snapped at the sound of a call from @Keir in the distance- the direction of the mire. She left her shortcomings behind and ran to him. Even if she was a little dirty.

She paused at the borders and looked around to take in the gates of the mire, but for only a moment. Vitala found her way to him behind the arrival of several others. There was mention of support, however, the reasonings were beyond her. When there was a moment available, Vitala stepped forward before the rosetted lion to make her arrival known. "You always have my support," she declared, passing glances to the others that were here. "What happened?" The girl was rather in the dark about the 'whats' and the 'whos'. The rousing of allies felt as familiar as the time she commit to defending the brook, so she could likely assume. However, the seed of worry and concern was quick to root itself in her chest, clear in her eyes.

Things had been rather unsettling since the challenge, this one hit home. Of course, Adya had witnessed plenty of challenges since her arrival to Amaryllis but none of them had her own home lying in the balance. When @Keir called for them she moved as swiftly as she could manage through the mire, navigating her way closer to the already decently sized gathering. She had a tendency of being one of the last ones to arrive to these sorts of things, but her support was evident by her arrival alone. "I will fight." What would Papa think of her now? Normally she was on the other end of this spectrum, doing the "mending", but this was different. She would support those she shared a home with and if that meant getting her claws dirty, so be it.

He really didn't have much invested here or understand how things happened but he was following Roan's lead. He would fight for his sister's home even if he wasn't part of it. That didn't matter to him. He stood next to Roan and spoke to the lion who seemed to be in charge of things. Maia is my sister. I fight with you and her. What the fight would look like, he didn't know but he would figure it out when the time came. The young male hadn't been in many fights but so far he had held his own well enough and that was all he could do.

He was envious of the young lions rising up to defend the Mire. It was what his own pride, and family, seemed to lack. What he feared would be their undoing someday when he inevitably faultered and was felled... for all the outrage lions held for homes being taken it happened all too often. Did any of these lions even know that the very land they were about to fight for was taken from Heliose in the first place?

He glanced around as he approached, looking to Roan mostly while he shifted his weight off the leg that Walpurgis had done the most damage to in his own pride challenge. He held the elbow in a slightly bent position and felt the relief swell over his chest and down the leg. "Did anyone see where Jafar and Maia made it off too?"

Always the fool with the slowest heart

Always lurking, Hrefna had heard her leader's call for Obsidian to support. She launched herself through the trees to try and find the russet lion, her one seeing-eye working overtime to try and distinguish the vegetation from the lions she was looking for. The air stunk of humidity and of fear, a perverted version of the place she had once visited as a mere child of a diplomat. Finally, she approached a growing crowd and wasted no time in locating her uncle-to-be.

"Uncle Roan, what has happened? Are we preparing for war?" She hissed in a terrible attempt at a whisper, not wanting to distract the rest of them with her own ignorance of the situation leading up to this. She swallowed down the lump in her throat threatening to choke her at the thought of flinging herself into battle, her upbringing drowning out any desire to run she may have harbored.

"I've got your back; Vellen help us," she gasped the prayer.
