She knew that @Keir had been in the pridelands, Mother had told her that one of her brothers had come to join them.. and that he was the "Air" whatever that was. Silverlight had come to understand that such a thing was important, so she spent her morning trying to find something pretty to bring the lion. She had met him but one time, and ever since had been enamoured with the dark pelted male.

Silverlight was admittedly jealous of his big fluffy hair and she wanted big fluffy hair to! Maybe - she could bring him some leafs and he would help her make big fluffy hair! The girl rummaged through the swamps, completely covering herself in the muck before she found what she was looking for. A water lily - complete with the bedraggled pad and stems that trailed behind her as she walked towards the heart of the Mire.

The young child would call with a voice muffled by the grasp she had on her chosen flower, trying to find the older lion and hoping that he would enjoy his pretty gift. She remembered he had something in his fluffy hair and thought maybe he would like to have a flower for his fluffy hair to!

Silverlight

Calling Ecrosia home was an odd feeling. It was nothing like the Cove; where he was used to the smell of saltwater and sand was now the scent of stale water and something else he couldn't quite pinpoint, but it wasn't exactly his favorite. But with being able to take the rank of Heir, if only to learn more about ruling and the more political side of things, the lion would suck it up and make due with what he were given.

Paws would step across the soggy land in a casual gait, taking up patrolling the borders for the time being. He wanted to get more familiar with the area as well as know where their boundaries began. It would be here that Keir would hear some sort of muffling call, a brow rising as he noticed it was for him. Turning in the direction it were coming from would blue eyes soon land upon a cub carrying a flower in her mouth as well as dragging the whole lily pad with it. It was quite an amusing sight, and with what he remembered this was one of his newest siblings. "That's quite a catch," Keir would muse, continuing to watch @Silverlight.

@Keir arrived and she grinned at him, attempting to drop her offering at his feet - and ending up having to use her paws to help drag the bedraggled lily from her jaws as it had gotten stuck to the sides of her mouth. A sound effect of "Bloorrrprppprpprrprbpbpbpbpbpppp" followed as she then grinned up at her brother and plunked her rear down onto the ground. "I brought you thing!" Silverlight pointed at the offered lily with a paw and a bright, wide fang bearing grin.

"Cause you's got pretties in your hair! I wanted to add another pretty!" And maybe get the dark lion to tell her how he grew such pretty hair so she could also grow said pretty hair to adorn it with things like flowers and feathers.

Silverlight

Keir would watch his little sister with a rather bemused expression on his face, glancing back down at her gift as she spoke of the 'pretties' that he had in his mane. "I think this might be a bit too big to fit in my mane," he would respond as he lifted a front paw to bring the flower and lilypad closer to him. Crouching slightly, he would crane his neck so that his maw were hovering above the flower, beginning to then pluck it from the rest of the plant in a delicate fashion. Once he did this would he place the flower next to the lilypad and allow for his belly to lower to the ground so that now he were laying in front of @Silverlight. "The flower, though, would fit just fine." Pushing the flower in her direction would he then raise a brow before motioning toward his mane with the same paw. He wanted to see if she would place it in his mane or if he had to do it.

When @Keir spoke of it being too big for his mane, she frowned, ears folding against her skull momentarily before he plucked the lily free from the roots. A smile touched her lips as the child giggled and moved towards her sibling when he settled down so that she could reach his mane. There was something of a struggle as the young child tried to simultaneously climb into his hair so she could get the flower placed - while also not ruining said flower by grabbing it too tightly.

Still, she managed - and sat back with a grin to look at the image that her brother presented. Okay, so the flower was a little on the crooked side - but it was in there! Tails were twitching near her hips before she nodded. "You looks so pretty!" Now she wanted to look pretty..

Silverlight

Keir would stay still as @Silverlight managed to place the flower in his mane, a soft hum coming from his throat. Once she stepped away and mentioned that he looked so pretty would he let out a soft chuckle, blue eyes watching her. "Not as pretty as you, though," he would reply as he aimed to have a front paw reach toward the girl and cup her chin softly as he spoke. After a moment would he allow for his paw to settle back onto the ground, ears flicking and the lion releasing a soft sigh before he began to speak once more. "Where has the rest of your litter been? He couldn't remember exactly how many siblings Silverlight had or if they were still around in the Mire, if they had ever been, so he guessed that maybe their sister would know where they were at.

@Keir asked where her brother was and the dark girl frowned, ears folding against her skull. Truthfully, she hadn't seen him in some time and it made her wonder where the boy was. "Uhhh... With momma?". Silver light was as of yet, unaware her brother had passed from this realm. (As oocly it's not been decided how said death happened...) So she would only assume that her momma was taking him out for a walk or something equally interesting.

The girl didn't seem to mind, used to playing by herself, or spending time with momma and mother and getting told stories and being taken on walks and to see the sunsets. She had just played with Raegan the other day, so naturally he was just fine! "Where yours?" A curious question as the girl canted her head to the side watching her elder sibling with something akin to hero worship.

Silverlight

A nod of his head would be given to her response; he knew that cubs didn't keep track of many things, their own siblings being one of them. He could remember when he were her age that all he cared about was exploring and finding interesting things to collect and bring back to his den. @Silverlight's query of where his own siblings from his litter were at would cause for his brows to furrow slightly, trying to remember just how many were left in Amaryllis. The only one he typically came across was Sanson, and as he realized that was the only one it made him wonder how the rest of them were doing.

"I think the rest of my litter had gone off to explore the greater world, but my one brother Sanson is in a pride I used to live in." His toes would flex before him, allowing for his claws to unsheathe and return back a couple of times before he ceased the movement. "What do you like to do?" He wanted to get to know his little sister better, and she was more than certain that she would oblige his questions.

@Keir told her that his siblings were gone exploring, and his other brother lived in a pride. She would tell her head and look up at the large dark lion with a bright smile twisting her lips. "Can we go see him?" The idea of seeing another brother had her doing little tippy tappy dance steps with her front feet out of excitement.

Silverlight would stare with eyes that were wide, almost comically so. He would let her imagination follow the trail of their conversation, to think about what her brother would look like and what he would be like. Having been so young on their first introduction, the girl didn't remember much beyond that he was a bright white where her other brother was a dark black.

Thought struck the girl and she looked once more up at her brother. "Why we so diff'rnt?" The question was innocent and she blinked. "White n' black... Why different?" She was dark in color as had been her brother... Both mothers were dark.. Keir was dark, Ludicael was dark.. Was her other brother special? Special like her with her eye mark?!

Silverlight

"We could make a trip to see him one day, sure." The distance between the Mire and the Cove wasn't terrible, but it was one you would want to start earlier in the day so that you weren't traveling in the dark and not able to enjoy the vast scenery between the two prides. He would watch her as she danced around in excitement, his lips pulling into a smile as blue gaze absorbed her actions. Oh, to be a cub again and not have to worry too much about what all the 'grown ups' worried about.

And then she would question on why Sanson was different than them, allowing for a brief silence to wash over them before replying. "Well Sanson was adopted," Keir would begin, trying to pluck words that would be the easiest for @Silverlight to comprehend. He remembered being that young and having others explain things to him in a complex manner and half of it going in one ear and out the other. "It means that although mother or Vysemala or even my father aren't his birth parents, he is still seen as apart of our family because mother adopted him. That's why he's a different color than us, because he didn't come from mother who is black like us." Another pause, watching Silverlight to see if she were grasping what he was telling her before finishing. "She took him in as one of her own. Him and I grew up together."
